Very good neighborhood coffee shop--thankful I live walking distance from here its kind of a hidden gem. coffees here are delicious and strong...very good quality. pricing is more fair compared to the other coffee shops in the area. their strawberry matcha is also good too so I recommend trying that as well. Usually I go for a simple iced caramel latte and it's literal perfection. love the staff here super friendly and hardworking people. give this place a go if you're in the area! its right across the street from bloomingdales and next to bjs! read more

I've been here a couple of times but always forget to review it... well that ends today. Came here with a friend to catch up and suggested we stop by for a quick bite before heading to the Galleria. The cashier working there was extremely friendly! I ended up with a house coffee and a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The coffee is ok although I think their specialty coffee drinks are a little better. Can't go wrong with a bagel and cream cheese. I notice they now have a sign where you can only work on a laptop for an hour (I've worked on a laptop there in the past and stayed for2 but I don't think it was a rule back then). With that said, this is a nice place to grab a light bite and read or chat with a friend while there. read more

This really is like 2.5 stars. Maybe it was just my order but I got an iced pistachio latte and it wasn't good at all. I usually love pistachio anything but this wasn't it at all. My husband agreed that it wasn't good at all. Maybe I'd have to try something else. But I won't be back. Got dropped off. Not sure of the parking situation. read more

I stopped here for a latte after lunch and it was the perfect pick me up. They have plenty of seating on the patio. The seating inside is a bit more limited, but if the weather is good you should have no issues finding a seat outside. I ordered the pistachio latte and it was not too sweet, but sweet enough, and had a great flavor. The drink was ready quickly and the staff were super nice. I would come back! read more

I'm not a big fan of illy coffee but I thought I would give it another try. This coffee house has both indoor and outdoor seating, pick and choose your vibe. I ordered a regular drip coffee and if you order it for here they will serve it in a ceramic cup. The coffee was nice and hot and the flavor was better than in my past experiences. read more

The pistachio latte is one of the best drinks I've ever had in my life. I actually savored every last drop of that coffee haha and I don't even talk about coffee like that . Also, the café has such an artistic, cultural feel. You can tell you're supporting a small business, but in the best way . Support small business!! I felt like I was traveling somewhere else in the world when I went here and I couldn't eat the pastries because I'm vegan, but they looked so decadent. There's also a beautiful fountain right across the street. If you want to sit outside somewhere pretty after you get your drink. I will definitely be back. The service was sweet and efficient. The latte that I ordered was very nice. My experience was marred by the individuals who showed up at the outside tables, where I was, and began smoking in front of the No Smoking signs. The pleasant and efficient staff let me know that nothing could be done because the owner chooses to look the other way, although it is against Glendale Fresh Air laws. This is unfortunate, and means that I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

went to check out this place for some coffee and heard they were known for their pistachio latte. Lately I've been into horchata lattes, and they had both ... so we got both! LMAO. both were really good, but I definitely liked the pistachio latte more (I can see why it's so popular). The pistachio flavor is really strong and they add in crushed pistachios to add a bit more texture to the drink. For both the horchata latte & the pistachio, they had good flavors, but I barely tasted coffee in the drink. For coffees with such strong flavors, I feel like it also needs to have a more stronger coffee flavor to have a better balance. Other than that, the service and place were very nice :) read more

Stopped by for some caffeine and ordered the iced pistachio latte. It was delicious and super creamy. The pistachio flavor is very prominent. It is a perfect mix of nutty and coffee flavor. It is definitely better than Philz and may be my new coffee spot whenever I'm in Glendale. read more

We were craving coffee and ran into this cute little place after dinner at the Americana. I got the pistachio iced latte and my husband and brother got the cappuccino. Sooo good!! The pistachio latte is a must try. I'll definitely go back just to get that again. The gentleman that took our order was friendly and greeted us right away. Great service, they were very friendly and the Ham Sandwich was great! The bread was very soft and everything tasted very fresh. Listen I am a sucker for pistachio lattes and this one by far has to be my favorite! It is so rich and creamy, you can taste the nuttiness and the richness of the coffee. I really enjoyed the little crushed pieces of pistachio as it gave it a nice crunch. I also tried the white mocha latte, but this one was TOO sweet for me. It didn't have a flavor that really stood out to me. As we ordered we also saw this lovely slice of NY cheesecake & couldn't resist. It was so smooth and delicious! It had the right texture of creaminess and it wasn't overly sweet! Only thing here was the price we spent $26 on two medium iced lattes and a slice of cheesecake! It was a little too much for three items, but if I do come back it'll be for a pistachio latte alone. read more

The pistachio and vanilla latte were outstanding - creamy, flavorful and delicious! The staff were extremely nice and friendly, offering my daughter a cup of water with mint. The ambiance is cute, cozy and full of beautiful decor (Russian dolls, brass coffee dispensers, etc.). I can definitely relax and work here if needed. What a GEM! First time in LA on vacation and a MAJOR coffee lover. Staying around the corner I found this coffee shop. I'm so happy I did. Super cute and inviting along with a warm greeting from the owner. I ordered two different lattes. One hot and one cold . The Horchata was my cold and it was so delicious. The pistachio was my hot and Oh my God what a treat. Literally the best pistachio latte I've had to date. So good I came back the next morning and got my drink along with food. I'm staying away from breads and the owner was kind enough to turn my burrito into an omelette . Everything was fresh and delish! I highly recommend to anyone new and old! read more

The vibe at this coffee shop is chill. Older locals hang out on the front patio in the early mornings. Employees are polite and fast. My bf got a cold brew here once. He didn't like it, but I enjoyed its deep, smooth flavor. It was not bitter. On another occasion, I tried the Pistachio Latte ($5.25 - 12 oz). Menu prices were fair. They ran out of whipped cream this day, but crushed pistachios were used for garnish. The latte had a strong coffee flavor with less foam, which I preferred. Its texture was thicker, almost like some sort of emulsion with a slightly oily mouthfeel. I appreciated how the drink was not too sweet. However, the flavor was more like almond extract instead of pistachio. I probably wouldn't get it again. read more

There are friendly and nice workers there who were able to suggest and recommend a lot of stuff! The place was clean and well-designed. A few tables inside with cute tables and chairs, there are more tables outside. We ordered a pistachio latte (as suggested) and matcha green tea latte. Both were excellent and had really good flavor! I love my matcha with oat milk so it was great. The pistachio latte had pistachio on top and you can really taste the flavor. I would come back again to try other drinks! read more

Staff was very friendly and welcoming when my friend and I arrived, they were extremely patient and even recommended a couple things off the menu. Prices are definitely more on the pricy side but definitely a spot worth checking out. The sandwich's are pretty fire I must say and HUGE. Carrot juice was a sold 8/10 and the Ham Deli was a 9/10! Great spot for some great coffee after dining at one of the various options nearby. I opted for the nitro cold brew on tap, which was very refreshing and creamy. They have a few tables inside as well as sidewalk patio seating as well. I was very tempted to try the affogato, but ended up not indulging this time, but will have to give it a try on the next visit! read more

Came in for a vanilla latte during my stay in downtown Glendale. Was warmly greeted by the two nice ladies working on July 4. Have to say this was one of the best vanilla lattes I have had. And the staff kindly offered my daughter a cup of water with a mint leaf on our way out. So nice! Wish I could have enjoyed my coffee in the cafe because the decor was pretty. I will definitely come back here during my next visit. read more

So many people define themselves as experts. Sadly, many of those same people will walk in and say things like, "Gosh, I'm tired, could you make me a double espresso?", clearly assuming that stronger taste automatically means more caffeine. My wife and I simply like a good coffee in the morning. Which leads to the obvious question: what do we define as "good coffee"? For us, it helps us get into the day, tastes pleasant, and does not leave a bitter note. We are absolutely not coffee experts and can discuss coffee, at best, at what we Germans would call "Thekenniveau" -- bar-counter level. I do understand, however, that it may make a difference whether beans were roasted weeks or even months ago somewhere remote, then shipped and stored, or whether they were roasted locally and recently. So we asked ChatGPT, and one of the recommendations was REGENT Coffee in our neighborhood. We went. Our directive was very clear: we explained that we knew little to nothing about coffee, which was precisely why we had come in and were looking for advice. The lady helping us started with: "Well, it all comes down to the settings of your coffee machine when you pour your espresso." I responded that we are not really espresso drinkers -- we drink Americano. She gave us "the look" and explained that an Americano is espresso with more water. The information: fair enough. The way it was communicated: not ideal if your goal is to win me as a customer. From there, the conversation did not really lead anywhere. We were asked questions such as whether we preferred nutty or fruity coffee. That may be a perfectly reasonable question for someone who already knows what those terms mean in practical taste terms. But we had just told her that we did not. That was the entire reason we were there. We were not looking to prove our coffee knowledge. We were looking for someone who had the expertise to guide us. In the end, we bought an Americano. It was served so hot that my wife burned her mouth in the car, and it took almost the entire 45-minute drive to Santa Monica before it had reached what we considered a comfortable drinking temperature. It cost $5. And we did not even particularly like it. Would I go again? No. Would I recommend REGENT based on this experience? No. What makes this particularly disappointing is that this was a tremendous lost opportunity to turn us into long-term customers. We like expert advice. We drive to Farmers Markets to buy fresh produce knowing full well that we may pay 200% more for something that is perhaps only 15% better. But we can taste the difference, and that makes it worthwhile to us. Coffee could have been exactly the same. If I specialized in coffee, I would make it incredibly easy for people like us to enter that world. I would offer tastings. I would explain, in simple language, what "nutty", "fruity", "chocolatey", "bright", "smooth" or "low acidity" actually mean in the cup. I might offer a short class on how to set up a home coffee machine properly. Maybe even machine-specific sessions. Maybe in the shop. Maybe at the customer's home. Because there are customers walking through the door saying, quite literally: "We know very little. We want advice. We are willing to spend money." And even better from a business perspective: Not just money once. Continuous money. Imagine if the conversation had instead started with: "I totally understand where you are coming from. Coffee can become unnecessarily complicated very quickly. Since you mostly drink Americano and want something smooth rather than bitter, let me give you two small tastes so you can understand the difference. Then I'll recommend one bean to start with." We would almost certainly have bought a bag. Possibly two. And if we had liked them, we might have bought beans there for years. Instead, they sold us one tiny cup for $5 over the counter, while the payment screen suggested an 18-25% tip. And two potentially very loyal customers walked out frustrated. That, to me, is the real business lesson here. It is not about whether REGENT makes good or bad coffee. Taste is subjective. It is about recognizing the customer who is standing right in front of you. Especially when that customer is effectively saying: "Please teach me how to spend more money with you." And then making sure you do not send them home without doing exactly that. Small caffeine footnote: espresso is more concentrated in caffeine per ounce, but a normal serving of drip coffee usually contains more total caffeine than a single espresso because the serving is much larger. Stronger taste does not automatically mean more caffeine.

The salmon was dry, tough, and brown around the edges. The bread was dry and so difficult to cut that I practically gave up. The coffee tasted terrible. I went to the counter and politely explained the problems and asked if I could get something else. I was told no because the food is made to order. I also explained that I had ordered a hot espresso, not an iced coffee, but was told I hadn't specified that. The young woman said she would get the manager. We waited another 15 minutes, and no manager ever came to our table. So we left. For the prices they charge, I expect better food, better service, and--most importantly--some effort to make things right when a customer is unhappy.

The coffee shop is conveniently located right across from the Americana, so you can easily street park or park at the mall and walk over. It was busy when I arrived on a Friday afternoon, but there were still tables available both inside had outside. The chairs are not the comfiest, but the shop is still very clean and well maintained! When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly employees who were busy preparing orders. This gave me the opportunity to peruse their unique menu and settle upon a latte to order. My sweet tooth was in effect and I opted for the Tiramisu latte with oat milk and was asked if sweet was ok! I thought it was so cool how you're able to customize the drink as you please and bonus points for no charge for nondairy milk. It was very affordable at $6.85. My latte came out pretty quickly and I marveled at the cocoa powdered topping. It truly tasted like a dessert and was so rich and indulgent yet somehow I didn't feel gross after drinking it. The oat milk was creamy and perfectly frothed and the espresso was well balanced. I had a dance class that night and it gave me just the right amount of energy to make it through the class yet still manage to sleep fine that night! Since it was my first time, I placed the order online. So I don't mess up the order and hold the line by deciding what to order. The pick up process was kind of confusing cause there were no sign for online order pick up. I had to go to the register and ask about the pick up. The young lady who helped was nice and explained how pick up works. Appreciate the helpfulness. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. There are several tables inside and I notice couple of tables outside. Store was very clean and well maintained. They also had sample cookies by the register for customers to try which was a nice gesture . This coffee shop is located in walking distance from Americana which makes it a great spot to grab coffee after shopping. There is street parking available and Americana/ Glendale Galleria are another option for parking. I will be back to try different coffees , since the menu looks different than other coffee places.

La Goccia in Glendale has been on my list for a while, and I finally had the chance to stop by during lunch. I ordered their famous Pistachio Latte, and it absolutely lived up to the hype... smooth, flavorful, and unique compared to the usual coffee shop offerings in Los Angeles. I also tried one of their Italian sandwiches, which was fresh and well balanced, the kind of quality you'd expect from a true Italian cafe. While enjoying my meal, I noticed another customer order an Affogato. It looked so good I couldn't resist getting one for dessert, and it was the perfect way to finish off the meal. The cafe itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for lunch. Between the Pistachio Latte, the sandwich, and the Affogato, I left completely satisfied. I was introduced to this place by one of my coworkers about a month ago and I have been back almost every day since then. I have officially stopped going to Starbuck across the street because of this place. Breakfast is served with fresh eggs and ingredients (that's a super plus in my book because I refuse to eat microwaved food). Snacks are delicious and fresh esp. the muffins! All the Grilled cheese sandwiches taste delicious and healthy, just like you would make it at home for your own kids (definitely not the greasy stuff you get at other places). Coffees and cappuccinos also taste great as well with reasonable sizes. OHHH and let me not forget the most important thing they have freshly squeezed orange juice daily! Very different from those standard coffee shops aroudn town....you can tell that everything is hand-picked according to quality and taste. ok its not a bad place to grab your cappucino ,but people are using the tables like home, what iam trying to say is that soo many YOUNG LAZY ARMENIAN men are sitting all day and checking out all the female customers and smoking like hell, its a bad bad enviroment, i just have a question, how come owners of this cofee shop not saying anything to this LAZY ARMENIANS like ( you cant keep this tables for 2 to 3 hrs) with just 1 cup of cofee. this is not the only cofee shop with lots of YOUNG LAZY ARMENIANS sitting all day , youll see them in front of all the cofee shops in glendale or north hollywood area, since Brand blvd is busy street i guess YOUNG LAZY ARMENIANS choose this location. I would never go here again, I went last week and sat outside. I ordered a latte and this older lady was so rude, very impolite. Whatever I thought she was just having a rough day...so I go outside and drink my latte and take my book out to read and I can't even concentrate on my reading because the men outside where talking about the owner of the store not paying their employees and takes advantage of them because he pays cash only 8 per hour and no over time or raises ever! I couldn't believe it. I left and will report this to the FOX news investigation, I'm totally against people violating labor laws. Don't go, it's like supporting abuse. read more

This café is such a gem! The food is always so delicious and feels like it's made with a lot of care. They really look after you here the staff are friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Their coffee is absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best I've had around. On top of that, the service is consistently excellent. I wish I could give this place 0 stars,, the owner is the meanest guy you will ever see, I don't know his name but he is this old Persian guy, who literally kicked us out from the shop cause of my dog, not only but got very aggressive and yelled at me in front of customers ,,, I honestly feel sry for him cause he could have solved any issue without getting aggressive,,,, I want to leet you know I will have to adress this issue to health department cause, he needs to at least to know the rules. read more

Personal fav is the La Goccia Espresso Bar, served up in a whiskey tumbler no less. Cool people working it, no snark or snobbery. Tunes coming from vinyl, from New Order to Black Sabbath. Always get cookies there especially the berry/grainy thing I don't know the name of. Love it, cant say it enough. read more

The initial feel is that of a convenience store, but smaller. It's a cozy nook, though. They also have a good baked good selection. I ordered a Grande Strawberry-Banana smoothie, so I can't comment on the coffee. It was a good size for the $3.75 price tag, and is more frothy than what you might come to expect from a chain (the Jambas of the world). Some people like a more liquid smoothie and some don't. I generally do. The service was friendly and quick (although I was one of two customers in the establishment at around 2pm). There are a few tables and chairs. My impression is that Coffee Cup would be a welcome respite from the daily grind, and one that is unlikely to become swamped during busy hours. If you're walking around Brand and need something quick and inexpensive, this is a good choice.

It tastes like a strong mocha, I needed the ice to melt a little bit to calm down the flavor, but that was just my personal preference.
