Tried the vanilla latte, PB cookie, and chocolate croissant. The pastries were sweet and fresh. They use large chunks of ice so the latte does water down quicker, but the cashier did note that the vanilla latte does not have a strong vanilla flavor. Overall, the ambiance is calming, the employees are chill, I was able to relax, get some work done, then sit outside where it got breezy.

This (presumably) based off the Truman Show coffee shop stands as a wink iykyk spot in Montrose disguised with its cleaners exterior. There is limited attached parking in their back lot but free street parking on the side street its attached to. My dad and I came by on a weekday morning and this was decently packed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and the interior of How's It Going To End? though it isn't much. Service was polite and quick. Matcha latte (iced) 3.5/5, this wasn't bad for a matcha latte and while it did have a decent strength to it, I just felt like something was missing? I think I would order this with some sort of sweetener for me to enjoy it more in the future Cinnamon Morning Roll 3/5, this was just okay and mainly because there was an unexpected orange citrus flavor that overpowered the cinnamon throughout the pastry

How's It Going to End is a fun coffee shop located in a former dry cleaning shop with an open and retro concept and desert landscaped patio! We stopped by on a Sunday morning and could tell it was a popular neighborhood spot. There was a short line but it moved quickly. There's some seating available but is limited. This is a nice spot to relax and chat but not really ideal for working. There is a very small parking lot on site but there's street parking available. Love the fun lighting in the bathroom too! I tried the iced matcha latte which I really enjoyed - just the perfect sweetness and not too sweet, and felt really refreshing on a warm day. Matcha quality was not bad too. Their iced vanilla latte was solid as well. Would also recommend the raspberry fairy pastry which is a crispy and fresh croissant with a sweet and tart raspberry filling - soo delicious! Downside is their drinks are a bit on the pricey and slightly smaller side.

Beautiful re-use of a retro dry cleaning business, this coffee house is a nice addition to the Montrose coffee scene. Landscaped with native plants, it's a great place to have a coffee and relax. I also love that they saved the old signs! The coffee itself is just okay, tbh; the cinnamon roll I ordered was hard as a rock (but they said the day's pastries hadn't arrived yet.) On my second visit, the chai was actually delicous and highly recommended. The prices are not cheap, although inflationary pressures may be partly to blame. Free parking in the lot, as well as street parking.

Saw this REALLY nice Facebook post of places to check out in the La Canada/Montrose area. I love checking out neat looking places that serve coffee. I've driven by this place hundreds of times and I always thought it was an actual Regal dry cleaning place! Who would have known that all this time, it was an actual coffee joint. Free parking lot, but also plenty of free street parking. Once inside, I was surprised how small it was. Very neat and clean with a few products to buy besides a limited drink menu which was very pricy. I love a good matcha with foam which cost $8.00!! It was good, but not good enough to pay $8.00!! That was one expensive Mothers Day Matcha!! Service was fine. A few seats inside and outside to sit. Would I come back? Nah... been there done that...

How's it Going to End? Apparently with me wondering why I could barely taste coffee in my cream top. Discovered this spot through The Nudge and was charmed by the whole dry cleaners turned coffee shop vibe. How adorbs! Came by after my daughter's swim class with the husband. I got the cream top, he got the mocha with cream top, and neither of us could taste the coffee. For $8 a cup, I expected espresso, not glorified milk and chocolate. The pastries were solid. Our toddler loved the ham and cheese croissant, and the biscuit with jam was fine. Nothing mind blowing, just.. fine. Everything came in to-go cups and bags without asking, even though we planned to stay. There's plenty of seating, but it lowkey felt like they didn't want us to use it. Kind of a bummer to see other folks get their stuff in nice glasses and plates. Cute concept. Mid follow-through. Probably won't be back.

The ambiance here is unmatched in the area. You get a laid back oasis with a view of the foothills that is particularly beautiful on a misty morning. Their matcha latte is delightful and their cream top is a treat I often stop for in the later morning. It's especially enjoyable when you are able to get it in a glass to stay. Great spot to meet up with friends or conduct a brief business meeting. And the staff is friendly and quick.

Very unique setting outdoors excellent coffee great service love our local business to support. Many idles to choose from baked goods. Very modern cool setting inside and of course outside it's beautiful place old dry cleaner, regal dry cleaner, but they kept everything the same except the inside must try.

Coffee is good, the cinnamon breakfast roll is crazy good! Something of a cross between a cinnamon roll and a kouign Amman. Very sweet. Very flaky. Love it! The location away from the street and the outdoor seating make it the best place to hand out in all of Montrose/La Canada/La Crescenta. Now if only more "regular" people went there and fewer "hipsters" (if those even exist in Montrose).

The coffee was outstanding. Love the old dry cleaners building - it makes it a bit more difficult to find the first time, but it works. I wish there was a bit more parking as getting in and out can get sticky if there are multiple cars. But the coffee was great, we liked the way everything was served, and my husband especially enjoyed his espresso.

A curious name for a coffee & tea spot located inside what was cleaners but is now a hip spot. Spacious and open concept, the coffee matches the standard of the aesthetics. Elegant and sophisticated, the latte was smooth. If it wasn't for the price point I'd visit more regularly, but I'll reserve this for meeting spots. So ... how's this going to end? I'll be back :)

Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Walking into a coffee shop should feel welcoming. Instead, most visits feel cold and uncomfortable. There is rarely a hello, welcome, smile, or thank you from the staff. The overall attitude often feels bothered or uninterested, almost like customers are an inconvenience rather than appreciated guests. The coffee itself is decent at times, inconsistent at others, but customer service is what keeps people coming back. I truly hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and focus on creating a more welcoming environment. A simple greeting, smile, and positive attitude go a long way. There are many coffee shops people can choose from, and feeling appreciated matters just as much as the product itself. I wanted to support this business, but after many visits and the same experience over and over again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My Cafe & Lounge is a beautiful corner café located right in the heart of Glendale. The exterior is…read moreelegant, well-lit, and inviting, making a great first impression. One thing I appreciated immediately was the parking. There is plenty of street parking, a parking structure directly across the street, and additional parking nearby, so getting there was surprisingly easy. As soon as we walked in, the owner, who was sitting near the entrance, warmly welcomed us. We initially started walking toward the cozy booth section in the back, but were told that area is reserved for dinner service and wasn't open... We weren't the only ones confused, as another guest came in shortly after and tried to sit there as well. That left us deciding between a few café tables downstairs, outdoor seating, or the upstairs loft. We first tried upstairs, but there were only a couple of two-top tables available. One was occupied by guests working on laptops, and the seating felt a little close together. The remaining tables were reserved for larger parties, so we ended up heading back downstairs. One of the available booths faced the restroom, which isn't my favorite, but I simply sat on the opposite side and it worked out just fine. Once we got settled, everything improved. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. I ordered the French baguette turkey sandwich, while we also tried the spicy chicken sandwich, which both the server and the owner highly recommended. The owner even mentioned it's what he personally eats almost every day, and I can see why, it was delicious. We also ordered fries to share along with two hot lattes: a chai tea latte and a mocha. Both coffee drinks were excellent and easily some of the highlights of our meal. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a coffee date. Before dessert, the owner recommended the mini pancakes and the waffles, with ice cream. They both looked great, but I've had similar desserts at several other cafés recently, so I wanted to try something different. I ordered the brownie with ice cream instead, and I'm so glad I did. It was rich, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One thing the owner emphasized was that they use fresh ingredients without preservatives and focus on quality. After our meal, I believe it. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with care. Our total for two people, including tip, came to about $120. It's a little on the pricier side for a café, but you're also paying for the ambiance, quality ingredients, attentive service, and the overall experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable visit. My only suggestion would be to make the seating situation a little clearer for first-time guests, since several of us naturally gravitated toward the closed dining section. Other than that, the welcoming hospitality, quality food, excellent coffee, and relaxing atmosphere made this a place I'd happily return to.
