Stopped to grabbed a couple of gyros to go. One regular with X onions and one supreme with no onions. The supreme comes with lettuce, black olives and feta. The place was busy on a Friday at noon but I walked right up and ordered. It only took about 5 mins and I had it ready to go. They were both outstanding. Orders were correct. Arrived @ 4:30. Restaurant was void of customers. Clean and tidy. News station on a lone TV. There was a notice near the ordering area / cash register that gave notice of a price increase on August 3rd. I ordered Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and hummus. It won't be either of these items the next time I visit. The sandwich was OK. It was filling and the price was right, but I'll order gyro the next visit. The hummus was not to my liking. It was _orange_ and leaked out of it small Styrofoam container into my brown paper sack. It made a mess and soaked through the sack. Unfortunate. I'll order differently the next time. Every time I come to OKC, I drop by La Greek. Delicious Mediterranean food. Nothing flashy but so, so good. I recommend the gyro dishes and oregano chicken. The gyro is cooked a little bit differently than other places and it's crispier. Check this place out if you're in the area! read more

We ordered the Souvlakia meal (x2) and gyros sandwich with spanakopita. The restaurant did not appear super clean and very outdated (framed pictures on wall were faded) and old interior throughout. First thing I noticed is that the windows were very dirty on the outside. We were in a hurry or we probably wouldn't have walked in there. Employees or owners appeared Asian, and the food definitely didn't taste truly Greek. The steamed basmati rice was awful - I put my Greek salad on it to give it some flavor because it had absolutely zero flavor. The rice was the biggest disappointment because I love good tasting rice. The Souvlakia meal came with one skewer (chicken), which was ok. It seemed that it was made in advance and just heated up (not fresh of the grill). Menu also said that it came with "grilled tomatoes" -two small pieces of tomato was all (see photo). Tzatziki sauce was plain and a very small portion in a tiny plastic cup. The gyros meal would definitely have been a better choice. The whole food seemed kind of bland. We spent $44.00 for three meals and drinks, which was very disappointing. We will not be back. There really was nothing Greek about it, not even Greek music. It was also lacking atmosphere for sure. read more

Came back to this restaurant after visiting Oklahoma, and it's just as good as I remember! Super Gyro- classic Gyro with lettuce, onions, olives, tomato, and feta. This came with a portion of fries which were perfectly cooked. The gyro was so tasty and honestly probably one of the best gyros I've eaten! Their tzaiziki sauce is my favorite!! Veggie Delight- comes with a green salad, falafel, and dolma. They told me that they make the falafels in store and it was soooo good! Highly recommend! "Jason's Salad"- I didn't see this on the menu but ordered this bc other people were as well. It is a grilled chicken version of their chicken oregano. It was sooooo delicious!!! This is probably my new go-to! It was soooo flavorful and delicious! Whatever they put in their sauce is addictive! I'm very sorry to write this review, but this was a terrible experience. I gave it two stars only because the owners were nice. However, I don't think they've ever eaten Mediterranean food before, and I'm certain they didn't taste the food as they were cooking it. Their falafel was so bad I thought it might be rancid. And they put the falafel on everything, including the shawarma! The chicken shawarma was served on pita bread, and had that falafel, so initially, I couldn't tell the difference between the falafel sandwich (which is a falafel gyro) and the shawarma (basically a chicken gyro). They were literally the same thing with some badly fried chicken added. The hummus was liquidy (not sure how to describe it, but it wasn't the consistency of normal hummus), and the pita that goes with it wasn't crisped. The only saving grace was that their super gyro was decent. I ordered some baklava, but didn't even eat it. So out of everything ordered, the only edible things were the runny hummus and the super gyro. Guess I'll have to drive 30 minutes for good Mediterranean food. read more

Great location right off SE 29TH and Douglass. The gyros here are pretty much fire but they have such a vast greek menu that pretty much everything is fire. The food quality is pretty good and the customer service is straight forward. The only knock on this location is that it will be extremely busy around lunch time being that it is right next Tinker AFB. read more

This Greek restaurant is run by Asians. They are definitely not as friendly or approachable as the last owners. I am not sure if they still charge a $0.25 for a cup of water or have the charge for a refill policy. The chicken oregano sandwich is pretty tasty. I have had their bulgogi previously and was definitely not a fan. Today I had the gyro salad which was pretty good, but hoped they had more meat. I love this place! The spanakopita, tyropita, gyros, and falafel are all great! The owners are super friendly!

This is the best fast Greek place in the city. The gyros are yummy and the spanikopita is served sizzling hot with a creamy spicy sauce. The atmosphere is casual and unique. There is a huge plant that is strung out over the ceiling with little red plastic monkeys hanging from it. They also post all the comment cards that people fill out for them. The only downside is that they are really stingy with their napkins. I inevitably need more than they give me and the only way to get more is to ask at the counter. Also, their hours can be a little weird sometimes-not open late--so check before you go. read more

Not the same since new owners took over.....it use to be one the best places in MWC to grab lunch and it showed it was always packed with Tinker people usually to at least 2:00. Not anymore. I think they have changed recipes in certain items on the menu. Its just not the same....Too bad read more
