We were out on a mission for a good lunch and The city of Sanger appeared on the radar. Last stopped at this place several years ago and it was Perko's or Brooks Ranch; something like that. We were seated fast and provided with menus and chips and salsa, Chips were good and the salsa ok, could have used some garlic. The selections from the menu looked appetizing and was well organized. The enchiladas were very good and the shredded beef burrito was perfect in my opinion. The Spanish rice was super good along with the refried beans (melt in your mouth!). The salad could use some work as it was all iceberg with a few shreds of carrot. Perhaps some romaine and arugula with the same amount of tomatoes. Not bad, convenient if you live in Sanger. Great tostadas. Place does lack in ambiance.

Finally an authentic chili relleno and I'm smiling ear to ear. The carne asada enchiladas are really good as well. The prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is clean and the staff is great! read more

Food is pretty good, yet kind of over-priced There are cheaper and just as good if not better options in the area (although, only one of them is a sit-down restaurant and not just a taqueria.) But, I still come here sometimes with coworkers. Today, I popped in just to get an order of chips and salsa to-go, and watched the person helping me take care of several monetary transactions before getting my order and then put the chips in the bag using her bare hands without washing them first. Had a good visit with my folks last time out. For the restaurant not being too busy ut took quite awhile for our food to come? Had the Chili Verde burrito with crunchy shelled chicken taco plate, t'was delishes as always! Have visited here many times, never actually took the time to review them though. Waitress seemed a bit sour, by no means anything we did, she just seemed to not want go be there? Salsa and chips was fresh and delivered quickly, drinks where kept topped off, food came out piping hot.. We shall be back.. read more

This is my second time at La Hacienditas and both times were good experiences. I took my mom the second time and she enjoyed her spicy shrimp with rice and beans(she's not a big Mexican food fan). It wasn't too spicy according to her. I had the combo plate with shredded beef enchilada, chili relleno, with rice and beans. This is what I normally get at all the Mexican restaurants that I go to and they did not disappoint me. The rice was done perfectly with the right texture. It was not mushy like some other places and the beans had a good flavor as good beans should taste. I thought the salsa could have been spicier, but I like my food spicy. We also split the menudo, which I thought could have been more flavorful (tasted a little watered down to me) and should have been served with more hominy and tripe (ratio was more 2/3 liquid and 1/3 of tripe and hominy). Service was good and plenty of parking. Prices was about $1 more than what was listed on the menu (a little disappointed about that). read more

Extremely happy with their service! I received my food relatively quickly and the staff is very sweet! It appears that they are family operated which makes it sweeter. First timer here and I have to say that they have the best salsa I've ever had! Although I wish it was a little bit more spicy. Great size food portion serve. Our food came out fast. It is the BEST Mexican food in not only Sanger but the surrounding areas. We've eaten here consistently for years and the excellent customer service and exceptional food continues to be the best. This is by far our favorite place. We normally eat here once a week! They treat us like family and the food is great every time.
