This and a donut place were the only food trucks there so unfortunately we had to stand in line for about 40 minutes. But I got the chicken parmesan pasta and it was excellent. I did it with the vodka sauce and it had a really great flavor. My only complaint was that it was extra for garlic bread and that extra only got you a couple of tiny pieces so I decided it wasn't really worth it. But I would definitely check out this food truck again!

Of course the star of the show is the Cochinita pibil a slow cooke pork packed with flavor. I love the sauces here and the hot is just the right amount of heat, it keeps me coming back to more although some of the tacos are flavor packed that I usually enjoy the first few bits with no additional sauce just some lime. The Birria is also solid here, my current go to is the combo mamalon which is like there greatest hits and gives you a solid sampling with both the asada, biria and a cochese. You can never go wrong, especially sometimes when you go and there are a few people waiting in there cars, you know its a sign they are doing something right.

This wasn't salsa or guacamole or anything but a bucket of seemingly hot water salad. Yes, the kind from a bag with carrots and ice berg lettuce. Like I'm still equal measures mad and baffled. Their menu is pretty extensive and there's a little bit of everything but mostly focuses on Honduran dishes. The place itself is very unassuming, it's definitely a hole in the wall that surprises you with amazing food. Service is great, friendly and pretty fast. One of my favorite things to order are baleadas. It is a traditional Honduran dish composed of a thick flour tortilla folded in half and filled with mashed fried red beans, cheese and cream plus anything else you'd like to add (avocado, meat, egg, chorizo, sausage, ham, chicken, etc.). They also have specials throughout the week. On Monday and Tuesday, their special is chicken legs for $6.99, you can choose sides: tajadas de guineo (plantain chips), tortillas or potatoes. On Wednesdays, it is pork chops. Thursdays is the best though, they have pupusas for $1 from 11am to 4pm. A pupusa is a thick flatbread from El Salvador made with cornmeal or rice flour, similar to the Venezuelan and Colombian arepa or the Mexican gordita. In El Salvador, it has officially been declared the national dish and has a specific day to celebrate it. It is usually stuffed with beans, cheese and you can choose what else to add to it (chicharron, loroco y jalapeños, etc.). They are served with repollito en curtido (Salvadorean cabbage salad).
