    Chili relleno rice and beans

Prices were decent. I ordered the chili rellenos and it was DELICIOUS! The best I've ever had. Clean.. All women staff including the cooks!

This place was recommended by a local and it did NOT disappoint... actually, it was amazing! The tacos are big and filling and the meats are all delicious, but save room for a Sopapilla!! They are so fluffy and hot!! We will be back!

Front door-this place looks deserted, don't be fooled!

Our new favorite Mexican food place. The red chili is sooo good, salsa is spicy and the guacamole tasty. We recommend the chilaquiles, picadillo, and beef enchiladas. Most reasonable prices around. Storefront is lacking, we drove by twice thinking it was long closed. Maybe that's part of the best kept secret. Plenty of seating, is busy busy at lunch. We like to showing up between the breakfast and lunch rush. Feels like the aunties are just waiting to feed us full of goodness, portions are big.

Cheese enchiladas with Christmas sauce and topped with a fried egg

I was a little apprehensive eating here, as it's located in a more residential/industrial area of town. The restaurant is also housed in a large gray metal trailer-like "building," which looks nothing like your traditional dining establishment. Inside, there are wooden booths as well as wooden tables and chairs. There are two dining rooms. Don't be in any rush is the takeaway here. Service is slow, because it looks like they're understaffed with the one waitress scurrying about taking orders, retrieving entrees from the open kitchen and putting them on a wheeled plastic push cart, and wheeling the cart around the restaurant to deliver the food. She was also the only person to handle the checks at the register after people were done eating. There also appears to only be one cook - an older woman. The food looked great and homemade; however, the slight disclaimer is that we saw her finish the entrees by putting them in a microwave... not sure if that's the norm, although the husband advised this is more likely than not out there. Husband got cheese enchiladas topped with a fried egg and I got the shredded beef enchiladas, both with Christmas sauce. The entrees come with absolutely delectable Mexican rice and creamy refried beans. We also got the chips and salsa with queso blanco. The tortilla chips are definitely from a bag and not made from scratch, but the salsa, though runny, was flavorful and packed some heat. The queso blanco was surprisingly good. Overall, the food was delicious and tasted authentic.

Great authentic made to order tacos. Served quickly! Worth a stop on our drive through town. Don't miss the homemade salsa.

If anyone planning to go check the prices first. I wish I could give better. But no sadly no. We…read morecame here my husband, sons and me. It was in Jan. We wanted to eat good Mexican food, sadly we didn't like it and left with not a good taste, specially when we got back home from our trip I looked at my receipt and compared the prices and all were off. And servers need to speak English, and stop speaking Spanish when no one of my family speaks Spanish. We order a molcajete they forgot the chorizo , we asked for it and we regretted to ask for it. That was not a good chorizo didn't even look like chorizo. Looked and tasted like can pet food. One of my sons order a Carne à la Tampiquena what a bad choose. The meat was hard and usually a tampiquena has grill onions , grilled poblano or bell peppers did not have any. I asked the server said doesn't come with it. What? .... The other two kids order combos and rice was not good. So going back to the price. The peces on the table menu, online menu and our printed receipt are way off. I have pictures I compare apples to apples only with our dishes we paid for and we got over charged about $7.00 not a lot but is quite extra. What made me check the prices? When we asked for our check the server came and said is this much holding the credit card machine. I said can I see the bill? She rolled her eyes printed the bill and give it to us and walked away. I looked and just wanted to make sure we have the correct items we order. She came back we paid even give her tip after all. Then we got back to our hotel to finish our trip..... Back home I did check each and I was very unhappy with this place. Never again. OWNER of this place needs to Review all prices from each menu platform. We didn't have beers, makes me think this place is over charging anyone consuming alcoholic drinks.
