Let's see what they got. Placed an order to go. Staff is pleasant but busy. The variety of items is great. Starting off with mozzarella with sauce. Veal Parmigiana and a cannoli for dessert. Update in a bit. The bread is really good. The pasta just a bit done but not too bad. Veal was okay and if you've got a taste for Italian, it's good. I'll try some other dishes to compare in the future. Enjoyed everything.

Low carb and yummy! Ordered a Really Meaty Pizza in a bowl and a large house salad. Not only is it so good, its easily two meals!

In town for business and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Not the best wine options, but the service was great and food was amazing. You get warm bread and marinara when you sit. I ordered a side Caesar salad and the chicken green chile Alfreda (pasta bollocco I believe was the name). Portion was HUGE for the price point and so delicious!!!

Decently good Italian food. Plates are big, pasta comes out fresh and super hot, the bread and sauce dip starter is good and the service is awesome. Out here for work for a few days and thanks to yelp for the restaurant suggestion. Piccolino was super packed for dinner on a Monday night. They have tons of pasta dishes, chicken, seafood, pizza and appetizers. Also desserts. Had the broccoli pesto pasta (there was no meat), and my buddy got the shrimp Alfredo, both were good. If you're out here, it's a good place for almost homestyle Italian. Credit card okay.

The food is so good but who wants to order when the workers are COMPLETELY rude? All of them need to be nicer and learn customer service. They need to literally be taught how to not be unprofessional in a work setting from the way they talk to customers down to how the waitresses even hand off their plates when the food comes out. Trust me, I always get my plate thrown on the table when I dine. They always give off bad energy and it's always takeout when I come here but even then. The service I get from the very little time I'm at the restaurant is trash. A girl could be on her phone for minutes on end and I would still get NO HELP or get rudely asked how many instead of welcoming me in at least???? They need to get off their damn phones! Be better for the owners who work their butts off to provide great food for us!

Ordered the chicken cacciatore, and was not disappointed. Polite and attentive waitress. It's a nice little spot and I would eat here again.

And this place delivers with a quiet kind of confidence. The pizza? A well-balanced composition crust with just the right snap, sauce that doesn't overreach, and toppings that know their role. The pasta leans into comfort, rich without being overbearing, the kind of dish that doesn't need reinvention to win you over. It's familiar but executed with care. Inside, the space is clean, composed, and inviting. Nothing flashy, nothing forced just a setting that lets the food do the talking. Service follows that same rhythm: attentive, smooth, and effortless. In a town known for the unusual, this is a reminder that sometimes the best experiences are the ones that don't try too hard. A solid pick. A refined pause. And when you're in Roswell, that's more than enough.

My oldest daughter and I were quickly seated on April 16, 2026, for lunch before her doctor's appointment. 1) the wait staff was short-handed and did NOT work efficiently. They took a long while to get requested items to us. 2) the food lacked flavor particularly with my eggplant parmigiana ($9.95 on lunch specials!). 3) the tea was exceedingly cloudy and did not taste good. 4) we were there for nearly an hour before our check was brought and did not get to try dessert! But this was an affordable restaurant that serves beer and wine. They offered excellent table bread - my daughter wouldn't stop pigging out on it. Lol. The lunch specials were a good deal. I liked their pasta e fagioli soup. Not my favorite since the pasta was so incredibly mushy, but still good. There are other places I want to dine at before trying this place out again, but I will return someday.

The outside and inside are well maintained and have an Italian style. Ideal place for date night. Wait staff and hostess were both professional and friendly. Our waitress had an amazing personality and helped us pick two dishes. Bread basket was brought to the table. As a bread lover, I was not too happy with the quality and baking style of the bread. We ordered Lobster Ravioli and Chicken Piccata. While the dishes were not seasoned to what I am accustomed to, they did the trick for two hungry tourists. As always, I encourage you to try it for yourself when you find yourself in Roswell, NM.

Interesting indoor ambiance will transport you from Roswell to Italy. We ate appetizers and took a pizza to go. My wife had the Ahi Tuna, and I tasted it - really good. I had the Steamed Little Neck Clams and they were also excellent. The pizza was a little bland which surprised me. We enjoyed seeing all the young people dressed up for prom night and the cowboys (not sure if they were real of just dressed as one) with huge, brimmed hats. Good place to enjoy good Italian food in the desert. Recommended.

The waitress who served us was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and incredibly kind to our dog. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous. The only negative part of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant. A man seated next to us spent much of dinner being rude and entitled, repeatedly questioning how the salmon was prepared, criticizing the wine list, and generally acting unpleasant toward the staff. The blonde waitress with glasses handled the situation with impressive patience and professionalism. Honestly, it took restraint not to say something myself. She did a fantastic job dealing with a very difficult customer and deserves recognition for it.

They marched us straight to some random back room that looked filthy and forgotten. Dirty walls, dead flies sitting on the window sills, dusty air vents directly over our table, worn-out floors and furniture... the whole place felt grimy. On the way to our table we were also walked past a nasty smelling dishwashing area, which really set the tone for the experience. Now the food. The kids got chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and somehow it managed to be both lava hot and completely flavorless at the same time. The chicken tasted like it lost a fight with the microwave. The meatloaf? I genuinely have no idea what they served me. It looked like cafeteria mystery meat drowned in tomato puree. Honestly offensive. I ordered the green chile cheeseburger with fries thinking maybe they'd at least get that right. Nope. The green chile had zero spice, zero flavor, zero reason to exist. The burger itself was forgettable at best. And the best part? The bill was nearly $100. For dirty vents, dead flies, bland food, and mystery meat. Would I come back? Not even if someone else was paying.

Now the other alternative was Texas Roadhouse. Don't get me wrong, I'm regionally from where Texas Roadhouse was founded and it's huge, especially where I'm from. But part of my philosophy when traveling is to try someplace new, traditionally NOT a chain. So I gave this a shot. Cattle Baron reminds me of those old school steakhouses in the 90s that served steaks and an AYCE salad bar. Except it's much nicer ambiance-wise with a broader menu. I ordered the largest ribeye steak they had with a loaded baked potato, unlimited salad bar, a Coca-Cola, and a brownie for dessert. The total for ALL that ended up being $48.35. That's really cheap considering I had to be rolled out on a stretcher (joking). The most expensive item was the steak, in the $30-range but an unlimited salad bar for $4.95 and dessert for $6.95 can't be beat. The salad bar had everything you'd want in a salad bar with fresh veggies and toppings along with two soups, premade salads, and a sampling of sweet items like jello and fruit. I got 2 plates from the bar and two small bowls of soup. The steak and potato soup was good but the chicken soup was a bit salty for my taste. My steak and loaded potato was good and hit the spot. The potato was kind of dry, assuming it was a potato, already cooked hours ago and they just pulled it out to serve to me. After smothering it in butter and sour cream, the dryness disappeared. The steak was cooked medium rare, so no issues there but there was very little seasoning. I added salt and pepper to it, which made it a lot better. I wish it had a little bit more searing/char to it. I ended the meal with a brownie and ice cream, with caramel drizzle. The brownie was fairly large and warm, with a nice scoop of ice cream and ample ribbons of caramel sauce. It was really delicious and not too overly sweet! It definitely put me over the food coma edge. Service was good, but slow. My waitress explained to me that it was slow because a table of 39 people showed up, so she apologized. It didn't bother me though because I was so tired from working nearly 12 hours that day. I'm glad I supported local and my meal was definitely worth the price.
