Wow, what a great find! We are full-time RVers and have been spending some time in the beautiful Chihuahuan high desert area. We ran up to Artesia, NM to get errands done and decided to stop here for some breakfast. The restaurant is located just of the main highway that goes through town. You walk in and order at the counter. The owners were extremely helpful and patient as we looked over the menu and decided on our order. The Boss burrito was just out of this world. All of the ingredients are fresh and the service was fast. You will definitely taste the flavors of New Mexico when you eat here. The prices were reasonable. There is an outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your meal, should you be inclined. I would definitely recommend a stop at Burritos Y Salsas for anyone traveling to or through Artesia. read more

This local favorite - at least to the refinery operators - is further from all the known eating establishments in Artesia. It's basically a walk up counter with no sitting. The burritos are big (one will satisfy your hunger) and definitely your money's worth. You will not get that cheap commercialized flavor in your food. Who would have thought you could find this quality of food and service in a hole in the wall in Artesia, NM?!? The breakfast burritos were superb, and they even accommodated our gluten sensitivity by making them for us with corn tortillas! They got us to try the Horchata for the first time ever, and it was really excellent. I'm usually disappointed when a hotel's complementary breakfast isn't suitable for our eating habits, but today's disappointment turned to delight when we went out to Burritos Y Salsas instead. Walked out with a stuffed breakfast burrito topped with as much red and green salsas as I wanted for $3! And the tacos were flying out the door too for those around me. Suoer delish and inexpensive. Being new to Artesia, I have not had great luck in finding any good food. Now I come from Dallas TX where many restaurants struggle because being mediocre is simply not tolerated and a if you don't score on the first hit you don't get a second chance. There are far to many great places to give a bad one a second look. That said, one morning my sister brought me here and we had the chili relleno burritos... OMG even in Dallas nothing this heavenly had ever graced my mouth! On my second visit I had the asado burrito... AGAIN insanely great. I've found there simply isn't anything here not amazing! Always fresh always consistent always good. I wish the other so called "nice restaurants" here could come close to the quality of this place. This is the place I'll take anyone who comes to visit me to. You simply can't go wrong. read more

I had a delicious chicken fajita burrito on a real homemade flour tortilla and my husband enjoyed an egg, potato, and shredded beef burrito. Salsa verde and pico were fresh and abundant! This place is always packed but they have big burritos at decent prices and they are quick to get your order ready and get you out the door. Try the pistachio drink, it's awesome! Their burritos are all super tasty! I always order 2 so that I'm stuffed after I eat. The only things I think would make it better is being open later in the day, especially on the weekends and packaging the salsa for the customers so that everyone and their dirty hands aren't contaminating anything. read more

This is honestly the best burrito I've ever had. I'm from El Paso, I've had good burritos. But this burrito was made by someone with absolute knowledge on how a burrito should be made. First, the potatoes were perfectly cut, seasoned and cooked. The meat was so tender and delicious. The green chile was plucked from the fields of heaven, no doubt. The tortilla was buttery and flavorful, making it the perfect cornerstone to this beautiful creation this is a brisket, potato and green chili burrito. I would like to franchise Burritos and Salsa.
