Delicious food! Thank you! Might I suggest you use some white vinegar to remove the limescale and verdisgris from your bathroom faucet? We will be back when we are in Beeville!

Bean and cheese! The tortillas are THE BEST!

Amazing Tacos! WOW! You're going to LOVE the tortillas! We ordered an extra dozen tortillas to take home! The house salsa "casera" is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Not too hot just the perfect amount of fire!

You know it's an authentic south Texas Mexican restaurant when the waitress calls you mama. It's definitely more of a place you go to eat good food than to enjoy the decor. We started with agua Fresca that comes in a giant 32 ounce cup. I got the limonada flavor and it was delicious. My favorite thing was the carne guisada. The rice and beans were very tasty, as well which is unusual in my experience. Very good!

The Surroundings made me feel at my hometown, the service was amazing, got to my table right away, the food was immaculate and tasty, coming here again.

Super friendly staff, nice vibe, tasty food and generous portions! Oh! Prices are very good considering the sizable portions that the restaurant gives customers.

Arrachera plate. The meat was soooo tender, cooked to perfection! Love their rice and Charro beans as well!

We spent the day in Rockport and wanted to grab a quick dinner on the way home to New Braunfels. We stopped in Beeville and decided to try out this Jalisco style Mexican food. Got there at 6:40pm, they close at 8pm. They seated us quick. Mind you there were 16 of us, but they accommodated our family without hesitation. Took our drink orders right away, delivered the drinks and proceeded to take our dinner order. Everything we ordered, and I mean EVERYTHING....was amazing! Also, I have to say...we always believe if a restaurant can cook some of its most basic menu items really well, such as Mexican rice and charro beans...then you know the place is LEGIT. Being from CA we surely miss some good Mexican food...we like Tex-Mex but it just doesn't hit the same. This place really did hit the spot for us. If ever in the area, we will definitely be back to eat. Highly recommend this place. Rachel was our server...she was so great!!!

    My favorite is the chimichanga

This little restaurant is my absolute favorite in Beeville. It's exactly what I want every time I visit. Everything I have tried is delicious, and always served hot. Chips salsa and a chorizo bean dip is served as soon as you sit. The staff is great and so are the prices. Do yourself a favor, visit this gem of a restaurant. PS they have great breakfast as well

By far the mini tacos and the Birria tacos are the absolute best. They also have a mean Chilaquiles for breakfast. This is my favorite spot.

Great Tacos. Probably one of the best hidden places in Beeville. I'm not sure what else to put. I don't really like this app.

Every Italian place I have tried in Austin is a total ripoff - extremely overpriced and low quality. This place was the total opposite of every Italian restaurant I've been to in Austin - it was amazing! I immediately felt like I was back in NY. They were so friendly and gave us warm garlic butter rolls and water the second we sat down. It was the biggest menu - I wanted everything! It was so difficult to choose as I don't see even 1/4 of these options in Austin! I finally decided on the spaghetti and eggplant parm. But how I wish I could also get the baked ziti, the meat sauce, the lasagne, the subs, the calzones and the pizza too as everything looked amazing! The portions were massive - enough for 2-3 meals! Plus you get free salad and bread. And when we were done they offered us even more rolls to take home! Took 10 rolls home plus leftover salad and pasta. It was absolutely delicious, so satisfying. The best comfort food for a Sunday night meal. We paid $40 total for a massive meal that would have easily cost $75 in Austin and been 1/2 the size! Wish I could go back again and again if it wasn't 2 hours away!

The chicken is horrible. Inedible. It tastes like a boiled chicken breast. No flavor, texture like rubber. I've tried it several times. It is not good. My daughter likes to get the baked ziti... she really likes it, but often has to take off almost a pound of cheese before she can eat it. There is such a thing as too much cheese. I have heard the owner yell harshly at the weight staff and don't really understand why anybody would work for somebody that screams at them the way he does. Roma's has the potential to be amazing but I feel like the owner is holding himself back. Also, the prices are a little high. If I could sit down and have a frank conversation with the owner, I would suggest dropping the price by a few dollars and cutting the portions in half. I'd come more often if the prices were lower, even if I got less food.

Seadrift is a small town of just under 1000 people, sometimes your job and get a little cumbersome. It showed. Staying in Tivoli at an AirBnb, so we thought we'd give it a try based on local recommendation. Was hoping it was that hole in the wall knock your socks off establishment that would make me want to stop again and again. But it wasn't. Maybe my expectations were too high going in. Let's start with the positives. Crab dip was creamy and delicious, just didn't taste like crab. Oyster appetizers should always come on a half shell. The Rock-yer-feller oysters came on a small ceramic plate that came out of the oven with no shells. The flavor was just ok. I wouldn't get it again. The oysters were hardy and good in size, made me feel like maybe they were from a jar or can. Stuff crab was meh. Shrimp didn't have seasoning, cocktail sauce was vinegar based? There was just a strong vinegar presence. The fish was by far the all star but even it tasted a little slimy when you took off the breading. Zero seasoning on the breading. The fried oysters were delicious, and I loved the fried mushrooms. Hush puppies are from a freezer bag. My daughter loved her fried chicken tenders. At $170 for three appetizers and three meals with one Dr Pepper, I felt like someone just kicked my dog. We didn't buy any, but the Snow crab was MP at $54 a pound? That's 100-150% markup from the wholesale. HEB sells it for $22 a lb at retail which is at least a 40% markup from wholesale. If your prices are going to be that high, your food should meet the expectation. It felt more like a person, opening a seafood restaurant in a fishing community, that buys everything from a frozen vendor, cooks it like a fast food restaurant, and sells it at a farm to table price. I paid and tipped generously. But there was nothing that made me want to come back.

Butter Churn If…read moreyou're anywhere near Aransas Pass and you haven't eaten at Butter Churn, you're flat-out missing out. From the moment you walk in, you can feel it -- this isn't some corporate chain going through the motions. This place is dialed in. It is probably one of the most put-together restaurants I've ever had the privilege of visiting. Every detail feels intentional. Clean lines, modern touches, spotless floors, organized buffet, upbeat energy -- they hit every mark. The décor has personality without being overdone. It feels like a true family restaurant -- warm, authentic, and welcoming -- but with a level of polish most places never achieve. The service? Exceptional. Real smiles. Real hospitality. You're not just another table. You feel seen and taken care of. Now let's talk about the brisket. Unbelievable. I had to ask how they were doing it, and Mark was more than happy to walk me through his process. When brisket is smoked low and slow -- and they smoke theirs for 20 hours -- here's what happens: * The visible fat cap mostly renders down. * The intramuscular fat melts. * Collagen breaks down into gelatin. * The melted fat soaks deep into the meat fibers. So by the time it hits your plate? You don't see fat. You taste rendered fat and gelatin inside the meat. For $14 all-you-can-eat lunch, I kept waiting for the catch. There isn't one. I probably ate close to a pound and a half of brisket myself and still wanted more. Tender, perfectly seasoned, smoky without being overpowering -- the kind of brisket that makes you stop mid-bite and just nod your head because you know you found something special. You walk out wondering how they're not charging double. Everything about this place reflects pride -- pride in the food, pride in the service, pride in the entire experience. It's consistent. It's clean. It's efficient. And that kind of consistency is rare. This is only my second five-star rating ever. That's how serious I am about it. I apologize for not getting a picture of the brisket, I got too carried away with eating it. I live in Corpus Christi, and honestly, that's probably a good thing. If I lived any closer, I'd be there every single day. If you want authentic, high-quality food served by people who genuinely care about what they're doing -- Butter Churn is it. Five stars. No hesitation.
