I was passing thru Beeville on business and wants a good STx breakfast taco. I did a Yelp search and found La Herradura. So in I go. I order my usual, bean, bacon, chz y cilantro. I was not disappointed. I ordered two but barely got one down. Very good with lots of chunky bacon and fresh cilantro. Just needed a little salt. Very good. Very big. Can't go wrong here. read more

If you are ever in Beeville you need to find this hidden little restaurant with friendly service. The food is consistently excellent and full of flavor. The ambiance is Mexican simply decorated with a few TV and music sometimes playing in the background. The parking lot is small and some park across the street in the background parking lot of Walgreens. read more

You know it's an authentic south Texas Mexican restaurant when the waitress calls you mama. It's definitely more of a place you go to eat good food than to enjoy the decor. We started with agua Fresca that comes in a giant 32 ounce cup. I got the limonada flavor and it was delicious. My favorite thing was the carne guisada. The rice and beans were very tasty, as well which is unusual in my experience. Very good! read more

The good news is that the prices are very reasonable. It's basic and pretty good. It's brutally hot in South Texas and I was there on a Sat noon. The dining area was comfortable. The men's room was like a sauna. Service was okay. read more

We spent the day in Rockport and wanted to grab a quick dinner on the way home to New Braunfels. We stopped in Beeville and decided to try out this Jalisco style Mexican food. Got there at 6:40pm, they close at 8pm. They seated us quick. Mind you there were 16 of us, but they accommodated our family without hesitation. Took our drink orders right away, delivered the drinks and proceeded to take our dinner order. Everything we ordered, and I mean EVERYTHING....was amazing! Also, I have to say...we always believe if a restaurant can cook some of its most basic menu items really well, such as Mexican rice and charro beans...then you know the place is LEGIT. Being from CA we surely miss some good Mexican food...we like Tex-Mex but it just doesn't hit the same. This place really did hit the spot for us. If ever in the area, we will definitely be back to eat. Highly recommend this place. Rachel was our server...she was so great!!! read more

Visiting from out of town for work. Had a quick lunch here around 12:45 PM. Service was friendly and very efficient. Very comfortable vibe. A lot of great choices on menu. Being that I was on the verge of becoming hangry, I ordered the Combination plate for $9.99 + tax and was very satisfied! The ice water came in a huge cup which was generous. The chips were so tasty along with the spicy red sauce and bean dip. What a great place! They also have a drive thru window that other customers were taking advantage of. NO HOMEMADE TORTILLAS with my order. Damn store bought tortillas come on. Overpriced as well. Had 2 carne guisada plates and a taco for 28 bucks. Charged me credit card fee too which is kinda absurd when I spent over 20 bucks. I would just go to another spot to be honest. Was hoping it would be good since the reviews showed homemade but not the case today. read more

This little restaurant is my absolute favorite in Beeville. It's exactly what I want every time I visit. Everything I have tried is delicious, and always served hot. Chips salsa and a chorizo bean dip is served as soon as you sit. The staff is great and so are the prices. Do yourself a favor, visit this gem of a restaurant. The food here was beyond good. They have to have some of the best flour tortillas I've had and their salsa was delicious. My husband had the pastor tacos and the meat had the perfect amount of crisp around the edges. I had the Poblano enchiladas and they were excellent. The only critique if I had to give one, would be perhaps offer a spicier salsa, but what they had tasted great! I just sometime want to sweat from the spice when I eat my tacos. Also, the service was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. read more

This place is so good! Me and my family decided to stop at this restaurant while traveling to Corpus Christy. Definitely worth it! The tacos de de barbacoa were delicious! The tortilla was home made and the the barbacoa was so tender and had such a great flavor. I would suggest for you to order the Tres Leche pancakes, those babies were Devine! Big S/O to Rosy our waiter, she was so sweet and on top of everything! Thank you for making our visit here so rememberable. We will be back for sure! read more

Just ate at this wonderful place again. Located behind Walgreen's in Beeville, their food is excellent. Had the Tacos Alambres plate and can give it a 10 without reservation. The Missus had the regular Mexican plate and gave it a thumbs up as well. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, and this restaurante deserves a chance to succeed, their food is fabulous!
