There is a new sheriff in town! Picked this place because they have a really nice outdoor patio and the weather was great. I had also heard good reviews from people who had already went. We started off with delicious margaritas. 10/10. Chips and salsa were even par with the rest of the Quad Cities. I have had better salsa verde, however, the steak chimichangas were fantastic and made me forget all about it. If it was closer to my house, I would go here all the time.

Food was good as always. Fresh and spicy! It was late when we went, and it was nice to be greeted with friendly and prompt service. A great restaurant to have in the area!

a week agoNEW Dear Lord Baby Jesus, or as our brothers in the South call you: 'Hey-suz'. We thank you so much for this bountiful harvest of Dominos, KFC, and the always delicious Taco Bell. I just want to take time to say thank you for my family: my two beautiful, beautiful, handsome striking sons, Walker and Texas Ranger, or TR as we call him. And, of course, my red hot smokin' wife Carley, who is a stone cold fox, who if you would rate her ass on 100, it would easily be a 94. I also want to thank you for my best friend and teammate, Cal Naughton Jr, who's got my back no matter what...Dear Lord Baby Jesus, we also thank you for my wife's father Chip. We hope that you can use your Baby Jesus powers to heal him and his horrible leg. It smells terrible and the dogs are always botherin' with it. Dear Tiny Infant Jesus...' The Best, Mexican food around for miles. The service is Excellent!! All of the food is Fresh!!!

The place is a lot nicer looking on the inside than the out looks with a nice exposed circular metal ceiling and kind of an industrial look with the wood and metal. The men's room has a keg for a pisser which was somewhat weird but kind of cool. There is a rail yard right behind the place so the name is fitting. I was after a cold craft style draft beer which they had a few and I don't even remember the names. I was amazed that the woman working the bar didn't know how much the beers cost and had to consult a menu before taking my money. I was only going to do one beer and since I didn't how much they were I slapped $10 on the bar, $4.75 for my dark beer. She grabbed the $10 and asked if the whole $10 was with her tip, no I'm not leaving you a $5.25 tip on my first beer, seriously. I decided to try another beer and I asked her to bring me the most popular tap, nothing domestic like Bud which she didn't really know so I said just pick something. I liked the frosty glass with each beer. My second beer must have killed the keg because it was kind of low in the glass or just a crap pour which I think is most likely what happened WTF. It's probably an ok place for a couple beers but I would check out some other places in town.

It's mostly a wine bar so I guess that makes sense, but there were appetizers (charcuterie, pulled pork nachos, baked Brie, etc) and that was about it. After driving 3.5 hours to get to this place, I was hoping for something a little heartier. I went with the pulled pork nachos though and they were made quickly... I had to them go so the presentation wasn't the prettiest. They were very underwhelming and they forgot the pork... not the greatest miss when you're so hungry! They tasted like an in-cohesive dish... basically some chips with canned cheese, pickled onions/green onions and some bbq sauce put on top. Definitely not filling either, even though it was only an appetizer. I did order the lavender limeade and that's pretty good! The nachos were $15 and the limeade was $5 so $20. The restaurant/bar itself was beautiful -- very upscale decor and a nice ambiance. There were several people enjoying wine and all their other spirits. All in all... if you want a full meal you'll probably need to order several small plates to feel satisfied.
