We had lunch here while charging our car. It was close to the super chargers, in an area that's being built up. This is a solid location. The restaurant is pretty inside and has a nice patio outside. Service is great and so fast and helpful. Possibly the best service I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Food was good. Guacamole- good Kids tacos- good Lunch fajitas (we requested vegetarian)- very good Over all we were very pleased with this stop! read more

This restaurant presents itself as authentic Mexican cuisine. It is not authentic, The food has very little flavor, and no ambiance that could indicate the type of restaurant that it is. It was formerly a burger restaurant, and nothing much has changed since the business has changed. It does have a nice outdoor eating area for warmer seasons. At the time that I visited, as an odd coincidence, almost all of the guests at the restaurant were senior citizens. So, this may simply be a restaurant which is frequented by older folks. Unfortunately, I did not find it to be fun, exciting, nor even simply tasty in its dishes. I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

Went in the early evening on a weekday, so was not busy. Server was attentive although he did make a mistake on the order. We didn't hold thay against him. He otherwise checked up on us just the right amount. The place had big windows so it was brightly lit from the light outside. At this time of day, it was a good family spot. Most of the other tables were families or what looked like coworkers. I had Fajitas Tropical. I thought these were solid. Although they didn't blow my mind, everything was cooked well with the flavors of the individual components coming through nicely--and I did not go home needing to drink enormous amounts of water due to heavy salt intake (this is a frequent complaint I have about Mexican restaurants in the area). My wife and kid were not that hungry. My wife just had a bean soft taco, which she liked. My kid just showed down on the complimentary chips and a bottle of Jarritos. I did order him an appetizer quesadilla, but I ended up eating it myself. That was a thick quesadilla (i.e., a LOT of cheese). I approve. Prices were easily reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I was very happy with this place. It is not the first time we have eaten here, but it has been a few years, and I needed to be reminded about how good the food is. I would consider this one of my top choices for Mexican food in the Quad Cities. read more

NOT Pet friendly as listed on Yelp. Brought our dog and went to sit on patio since it was listed as dog friendly. They told us no dogs. We put the dog in car within view with AC on but it was added stress and disappointment. Food was pretty good, ambiance cool inside, service/staff lackluster at best. There is a new sheriff in town! Picked this place because they have a really nice outdoor patio and the weather was great. I had also heard good reviews from people who had already went. We started off with delicious margaritas. 10/10. Chips and salsa were even par with the rest of the Quad Cities. I have had better salsa verde, however, the steak chimichangas were fantastic and made me forget all about it. If it was closer to my house, I would go here all the time. read more

So, I visited the area and stopped at this local place. It was a Sunday, and it was packed and full of patrons. The place has a nice vibe to it. The staff is busy, but yet attentive. The server was also the bartender and made a very tasty margarita with Siete Legos Tequila(one of my favorite for basic margs) the drink was individually made and was delicious and worth the time and effort he put in. Did I mention .. I decided to sit at the bar for this... Love the food.. I had the AL Pastor...tasty and worth every bite of your time to savor the flavors ... These tacos had pineapple bits, and I got the spicier chili to enhance the taco, rice, and beans. I overlooked the broken plate...makes the place even more like home to me. I enjoyed the place and food. It's worth a stop in the area to eat and relax. The Bar has high end tequila and it's well stocked. Enjoy mi compadres. read more

Very good food! We have been here many times for lunch since they opened. Only one time for supper. On Friday night it is crowded and pretty loud, not a great place for conversation with friends unless you eat outside. It is certainly worth checking out, they are fast getting your order to you and things are very hot when they reach you. They employees are wonderful and friendly. We always have had a favorite Mexican restaurant for years(. But since they lost their liquor license (have no clue why, and their 2nd time in doing so) we decided to try La Herradura since several of my friends have been bragging about it. So off we went not knowing what awaits. First of all it's a Friday night, place is packed (which is always a good sign)! We checked in, they said the wait to be around 15 minutes, (it took around 25 minutes). But understandable since it was during the busiest time to eat. Received our table and was famished! The free chips and salsa was a big hit! Very tasty and free refills. The soda had the right carbonation that we like. We ordered beans and burritos. I love, love their beans. Not refried beans, but whole beans. I thought I had died and went to Heaven just from eating their frioles (beans). And then for the Grande burrito, so yummy with steak inside. What a perfect combo! And the waitress was so great at her job, she must've come by our table at least 7 times to check up on us and ask if we needed anything else! We will be back for sure! Food is delicious; however, the two times I have gotten take out, the orders have been wrong. The first time they did not give me tortillas to go with my fajitas. The second time, they gave me the wrong kind of fajitas. I have to drive all the way back over and they did not even offer to comp them off my receipt.
