Apparently too sleepy to provide a modicum of customer service. I was really looking for to trying their food since I've passed them so many times before. Needless to say I'm not paying for bad service at the onset... The place was empty. I can't help but to think it's because they are sleeping on their customers. I see your response, which is exactly why I didn't bother to ask for a manager. This can't be the first time someone has received bad service like this because the young lady was too comfortable with her behavior. You'd do better to speak with your staff to not give zero star service. Thanks but no thanks.

The hostess stand was warm and welcoming, and we were seated immediately. It was just me and my daughter enjoying a little day together after her appointment nearby, and I'm so glad we decided to stop by. I've always loved this location -- the aesthetics are beautiful, and the greenery throughout the restaurant creates such a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. We started with the cheese pupusas, and they were amazing! My daughter (who's in culinary at school) had actually made pupusas in her kitchen lab that same day, so she convinced me we had to try them -- and she was right. They were absolutely delicious and the perfect appetizer to share. For our entrées, she ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and said they were really good. I had the garden green salad topped with grilled shrimp and grilled chicken -- so flavorful! The sauce on the salad was amazing, and I also ordered chimichurri on the side, which made it even better. The service truly stood out. Our waiter was welcoming and attentive, and we even had two managers stop by to check on us, which made us feel valued. It was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. This visit was definitely better than our last one several months ago -- it felt superb this time. We will absolutely be back!

There were seven of us that showed up at 4 PM on Saturday. They weren't busy but took a while to get the table. My two children were with me and after asking a fourth time, I finally got a highchair, but they still didn't bring the booster seat for my son. I ordered the enchiladas and a mango margarita. The enchiladas à la Gloria were barely warm and the tortilla was tough and dry. My mango margarita was not good. I took four sips and that was it. My mother-in-law ordered the seafood soup, and it was scalding hot. She couldn't even eat it until the rest of us were already done. We ordered two orders of fried plantains (the chips) and just did not feel it was good value for the cost.

Any restaurant which starts with "A Tit" is always going to be amazing, like Barbie's D Tits, or rather, her formerly D and now G or H or whatever, ask her, I'm not even sure. Absolutely spectacular Guatemalan restaurant which thrilled us with every bite. They really know how to make their food and they make it expertly and Incredibly. Easily one of the best Latin restaurants in the whole Houston area. We love this kind of food and there's not a lot of it around here. Plenty of Mexican restaurants but not a whole lot of Guatemalan and Honduran. This is one of the very best - if not be best - of the Central American restaurants in the Houston area. You really can't get much better than this. Of course everyone was checking out my sexy Barbie and they all had a good evening watching her eat while she was devouring this deliciousness with me. I think they wanted to devour her deliciousness. I think we ordered one of everything on the menu. Absolutely everything we ordered was fantastic. Would I go back here again? Are you kidding me? Where do I sign up. This will become a regular destination for us. I hope that they are getting enough business to stay in business because you will not find very many people cooking Central American deliciousness better than these people. And like I said. Anybody that has the word tit in their menu must be pretty good. This rap is so catchy, I think I might have A-HIT-LAN I love legs, but Barbie's so hot, she'll make me A-TIT-MAN I no longer lay on beaches, it gives me A-SH*T-TAN But I eat all the Guatemalan tings from ATITLAN! Our assistant made the reservation and despite a conference being in town, alongside a CHEER competition and the kickoff to the Rodeo, I was genuinely impressed with how smoothly everything went. Even with a large party, the staff handled our orders with ease. There was no confusion or delays and our food came out in about 15 minutes, which again, is pretty impressive given our group size. Everyone ordered something different, and there were no complaints across the table about the food. I got the stuffed red snapper, and it was flavorful. You can tell the kitchen knows what it's doing. The staff were also friendly and the restaurant is very spacious and well maintained. As expected for a downtown spot, parking is what it is, so plan accordingly (weekdays are better). But overall, the efficiency, service, and quality of food made this a great experience, especially for a large group.
