I sometime park at the navy pier and run along the bay ridge promenade. After a workout, I often find myself craving a healthy juice or acai bowls. I saw the good reviews and decided to give this place a try. So glad I did! It's a small shop but they have an extensive menu - offering many healthier juice/fruit bowl/chia pudding options but also your daily coffee/lattes. The shops is filled with other grab and go snacks and drinks as well. It's very clean. So far I've been able to try their acai bowl as well as the beet root juice mix. The staff was nice enough to let me switch one of my acai bowl toppings! I'm definitely going to make this place my regular for when I do workout around the area. This was a random find since I wanted to find a breakfast place that also served protein smoothies and I'm glad they had a big menu to cover what I was craving. They also have vegan protein options which is a plus! The staff was nice and we even got a free smoothie with a Google review! This is one of my favorite smoothie, juice and salad places in Sunset Park. I work just down the street from here and have been raving about them ever since my friends brought me here. Their chia pudding is sooooo good. A seriously delicious and healthy treat. Love this place and I'm so happy they're nearby. It's great to have such healthy options in the neighborhood and La Jugueria does not disappoint. The staff is also super friendly & they made things fairly quickly. An amazing smoothie spot in sunset park. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, I've never gotten a bad order here. My goto smoothie is La Isla, love the tropical flavors. They have breakfast sandwiches, paninis, acai and pitaya bowls, coffee, pastries, fresh juices, it's all fantastic. I've even ordered delivery from here and it arrives well packaged and still very fresh. I always forget to take photos of the food and drinks I get but highly recommend! read more

I lived in sunset park for 3 years and this is the best quick breakfast shop in the area in my opinion. Everything I've ever gotten here has been great. The meals are fresh and tasty, and the smoothies/ juices are well blended and delicious. They have a bunch of more healthier options so it's great if you have dietary restrictions, however they also have some hearty meals as well. The staff / owners are extremely nice and welcoming. Slightly expensive but normal prices for the area and definitely worth it. Really can't speak highly enough of it! read more

I placed an order to pick up a little before 3, I walked over and it was ready by the time I got there. Staff was really nice. Great menu selections and prices! Sadly, even thought the food is decent, it was not worth it for me. I ordered the green & lean juice, and I ended up with food poisoning. I had to go to the ER because I was nauseous and I threw up, and I had diarrhea. Apparently, it seems that they didn't wash the veggies thoroughly and that's how I ended up with food poisoning. The food is good, but do NOT buy any of their juices, since it seems they're not clean. read more
