I was antiquing with the wife and got a bit hungry, after wandering around I came across this food truck. I got the beef tacos which were reasonably priced and very delicious. Tried this place based on Yelp reviews. And it was fantastic! The roast beef po-boy was outstanding. It was old fashioned crockpot roast beef (not that sliced deli junk people try to pass off) it has great flavor, plenty of gravy and my husband was scraping the plate to get every last bite in! This place has two menus. One Mexican, one American. I had the chicken quesadilla. It was really good! My husband and I both agreed the roast beef was better tho! Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were good too. Kid friendly- they stopped and talked to our children ( 1&3yrs old) almost every time they came by our table. We will be coming back again. Sweet lil family restaurant in magnolia, ms. The food was EXCELLENT! We had the homemade chips with blue cheese sauce on top for appetizer. Decided to try this place based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! The name is a little misleading because it is mostly New Orleans cuisine and burgers. They did have a quesadilla special with a cup of shrimp and corn bisque but that was as close to Mexican as I saw. The bisque was one of the best I've had! We had the homemade fries as an appetizer and they were to die for. My husband had a burger and he said it was cooked to perfection and the bun was lightly toasted which kept it from falling apart. My salad was fresh and colorful with a wonderful blend of flavors. Please give this place a try so it doesn't disappear as so many small backroad places do! read more

We went here based on reviews and have to say it did not live up to the hype. We ordered fajitas and it was literally a clump of onions, peppers and some chicken on a plate . The plate wasn't even hot and you could tell the fajitas had been sitting for awhile. We won't be going back . read more

So I've only been once, but want to say that we were really happy with both the service and the food. Very friendly, hometown atmosphere that makes us look forward to becoming regulars. The only improvement I can suggest is that the servers offer all menus. We were only given a sandwich menu but overheard later that others were available. Returning from the Louisiana Gulf Coast on a late fall fishing trip, we decided to "Yelp" the McComb, Mississippi area for a lunch spot on a Sunday morning. One of my fishing companions suggested a chain restaurant, but my other fishing buddy and I immediately over-road this idea. After looking at the options, I suggested La Mariposa, in the historical town of Magnolia, MS. Prices are reasonable, food is very good, there is plenty of parking in front and it is located in the heart of downtown (great for shopping or walking).
