Disappointed with their follow up to any inquiries and their level of knowledge as to the coach they are selling. A few of their "new" coaches had physical damage and the one 2023 $120k model we were interested in had a broken window above top bunk which associate tried to cover up by half closing its cover slide. Salesman pressure is extreme and our associate appeared to be tweaking. He would space off in mid sentence and then start up on a completely different topic. I'm posting another review, cause I was told from La Mesa that the RV I purchased had a new oil change and all maintenance done to it, as my check engine light came on and said I was over 340 days past service, I was concern and took it to a repair shop today and to find out nothing was done and oil was dirty. I just purchased this RV 16 days ago and had to spend over $350 at the repair shop, on a RV that cost over 100k!!! Don't let this happen to you. Worked with "Happy" (Derrick)from Tucson AZ location. He wrote a fraudulent deal for my bank, then when I wanted to use their banks the deal was found with errors. They only "found" the errors after my credit was run with them. The credit app farm and try to make deals work. Terrible won't buy from them ever. I'll literally pay $10k more for the same RV elsewhere. The whole RV industry is hurting so expect worse shady service than I had as sale dry up. read more

Do not take your rig here for any type of service under any circumstance. Took my Class A back there for service because I thought the extended warranty work would be simpler since I purchased it there. Well I was wrong. They not only kept the unit for 4 months, they then hit me with items out of warranty that I would have to pay out of pocket. They told me the brakes needed to be replaced. The RV only has 15k miles so I called them out and they said " well there is some glazing on the rotors". I of course denied this service. They then told me they had to rewire the front Air Conditioner due to issues and it was not covered under warranty and they would have to remove all of the cabinets to rerun the wires. I said go ahead but I marked the wires to see if they were truly pulling the new wire. They didn't pull cabinets off the wall nor did they rerun any wires. Just crooks through and through. Don't fall for it like I did. read more

We have read a number of negative reviews of La Mesa RV in Mesa AZ and our experience was completely different. We purchased a 2020 Boldt and we cannot say enough good things about our fabulous salesperson Gabe, who was incredibly great to deal with - knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and provided above and beyond service in all ways. If you are in the market for an RV, we definitely recommend reaching out to Gabe at La Mesa. We also thought Michelle, La Mesa's finance manager, was wonderful. We are RV newbies so had a ton of questions for both Gabe and Michelle, and both were helpful and patient throughout the purchase process. We give both Gabe and Michelle 5 stars plus! We are giving La Mesa only 4 stars instead of 5 because we were disappointed to find problems with the RV that had not been fixed prior to our picking it up, and because the orientation regarding the vehicle was not sufficient for folks like us who were picking up their first RV. (And the manuals are incomprehensible as far as we're concerned.) However, we reached out to Malisah, the delivery coordinator, with a list of the problems we discovered the first evening and she arranged for us to be seen the next day to get them fixed. So while we wish we hadn't had to deal with those problems that should have been discovered before we picked up the RV, we felt good about being seen right away to get them fixed. One strategy we do recommend for everyone based on our experience is to plan to stay in the area the first day or so after picking up the RV to give yourself time to explore your vehicle and get it back in right away if you discover problems like we did. read more

So, we're selling our gently used 2011 Winnebago Adventurer 35P. From the beginning they were trying to low-ball. I understand they need to make a profit but they were trying to tell me our only choice was to sell it to them for a fraction of what they would resell it. I replied, here's my bottom line amount, if you can't meet that then we'll need to open ourselves to other offers. Here is the response from Jason K. in the buying department: "No worries. It's 11 years old and won't bring that much money you are looking for. You won't find a private buyer as nobody can finance it. Consignment dealers will tell you what you want to hear but it will sit not selling." I had dropped by bottom line to within 5K of what he was offering, so his argument is ridiculous. In an email just prior to the one quoted above he said a bank would loan 6K above the amount I asked for, and admitted they would sell our rig for over 20,000 what they wanted to pay. Jason K. at La Mesa RV is an awful representative. If he can't get you to agree with him, he demands you tell him what you want. When you do he belittles you. When you bring your asking price to 5K more than his "you need to around this amount" he responds like a toddler who only wants his way. Also, his offer yesterday was 2K less than 2 weeks ago. Ridiculous. Stay away at all cost. Look at the reviews. This does not seem to be a reputable place of business. I will go elsewhere for ANY of my needs. read more

Our experience was over all disorganized and lacked in follow through. We had 4 different sales reps., most of them did not know their product (RVs) and were complacent. We were told by sales that the entire RV would be gone through and repairs would be made. Never happened and they had the RV for over a month. We hired an outside inspection as we lost confidence in LaMesa RV. The orientation was done by a Tech. That had only done one other orientation, he did the best of any person we interacted with. When he was done we were told nothing. We had no idea that we were supposed to talk to anyone else. Oh by the way all the items we talk about 1 month prior were not done nor were any repair parts order. Now they are 30 days out. We asked our orientation tech to have Maliseh call us. We received a call from a sales rep, claiming to be the General Manager. On that call we were threatened 4 times if we did not come back and take our RV that day it would be put up for sale and sold. He was a jerk and unprofessional. We set up the orientation over a week before. Maliseh, front desk at delivery, and trained orientation tech were all off that day. Paper work had wrong address on it for warranty's. I went from so happy to upset and stressed out. This was a terrible experience. Finance guy was ok, Cameron and was actually apologetic and amazingly . This branch of La Mesa RV needs help in being truthful and needs to get organized. Honestly folks, please only consider using La Mesa RV Service when it is the last resort. When they replaced a panel above my couch, they didn't use the manufactures specified screws and screwed clear through the exterior on my RV. When I pointed this out to my service advisor, do you think I got an apology? Did a manager follow up to apologize? How do they not do a quick QA before returning an RV to one of their customers? They only care about their bottom line and making more money. They do not care about their customers whatsoever. Just read the reviews. I think its very telling when a business only responses to positive reviews. At least they stropped responding to negative reviews in 2018. Perhaps they decided it was easier to spend time responding to the positive ones since there are so few. read more

So angry with them. Brought Tiffin RV in for warranty service. They had it for 1 1/2 weeks before even looking at it. Went to pick it up today and floor was covered in grease. They ruined a throw rug that I had purchased at PotteryBarn. And to top it all off the coach was filthy on the outside from being left in an uncovered area. Would be 0 but that is not an option! I don't know who at Winnebago decided to have LA Mesa rv be the seller of the new accessable Roam van camper. I am an Eastern Director of The Handicapped Travel Club. I should have known better to not buy a vehicle online. But I could not drive from Massachusetts to Florida to listen to their sales pitch for extended warranties. Paid about 4500 to have it transported. Could not enter for 3 days. Lift would not work, batteries dead. Finally got in, no tittle or registration info included. Lift broke. No spare and no road service as promised by Winnebago. $145,000 lawn ornament! They sought to profit at one location over another as we started with calif location and asked how we could drive less far and pay our own Colorado sales tax, and they could have told us about the same model at New Mexico store for a far shorter drive and less tax. We stumbled into the truth and called them out on it. Then they sold us a bad vehicle and knew it! The new sprinter van fuel tank is defective and won't allow gas nozzles to fill as pressure builds. We use them for service and have been okay. Here's the problem with service - and this is universal across the nation right now - parts take forever to get and are often postponed. Last March I bought a heartland bighorn 3985 RRD. Paid 35k cash downpayment. This unit and dealer has been a nightmare. I have been going back and forth with the service dept to do warranty repairs. The mobile service manager keeps telling me "we are waiting on heartland to approve repairs". It has been almost a year and I have not had my issues addressed. My wife is disabled and the main reason I liked this bathroom in the unit was it has a tiki seat she can sit on. It was not installed yet when we bought it but they promised someone would be out to where we live to install it within a month and even wrote it in the sales contract. NO ONE has installed it even after I call every other month to remind them. I am super unhappy with this 5th wheel and this dealership and do not recommend them. Dropped my RV to La Mesa Phoenix 6/1/24. They are the only certified service for warranty work with Winnebago. Promised the trailer would be ready on 6/14/24 to replace toilet flange. Scheduled to leave on a trip 6/19/24. The are a text only service department. Asked for several updates throughout the 2 weeks and received " they are working on it" Was told my trailer blank tank was full and it cost $239 to empty. 2 gallons of water and black tank treatment is not full. 14th 15th 16th came and went ask them to call me. I called them and received answering machine. Called service manager on 17th left VM called another on 18th and no response. trailer was ready and picked up on the morning of the 19th. read more

This company is so horrible that we are considering picketing and are for sure taking them to the media! We purchased a brand new class A RV that was " new" and the first trip out until this day ( in service as I type) we have had nothing but problems! The $9,000.00 extended warranty was for repairs on things in the first 6 years, that should not have even needed repairing , and now 6 years , minus 2 years in storage we continue to have problems, with an expired warranty! We have only taken 9 trips in this "new" RV but have been in service 14 times, do the math! We only actually put 14,000 miles on this thing! This piece of crap RV has been in service for 313 days and is currently in service for an estimated $1,400 and god only knows how long it will be there and what the final bill will be. This RV ruined our holidays and La Mesa could care less about our problems. They must be taught in customer care classes to just say to customers " you know you're driving a house on wheels" because that's what they have said every single time that we've taken this RV to service! La Mesa makes money by buying crappy RV's marking them up, adding useless warranties and then charging outrage prices for servicing the crappy RV. Hats off to the service department at La Mesa RV ! I brought my 1982 Airstream Turbo diesel in for some service and up grades. Most RV dealerships would not even work on something this unique. The service manager Doug did a great job finding and fixing a couple of propane leaks. This was a real safety hazard ! A previous RV shop could not find these leaks. Also I had a new winegard TV and wifi antenna installed and an old satellite dish removed. This requires special skill as my Airstream is riveted aluminum . The technician Milles did a great job. If you want sound advise and the job done right, take your RV to La Mesa RV ! read more

Worst buying experience ever!!! When we went to pick up the RV they found out the air-conditioning wasn't working in the cab. They did get it fixed but long story short we didn't get our RV until they were closing on the third day after we were supposed to pick it up. We got no chance to look at it and they left it in the parking lot with the key and basically said good luck. We didn't get to look at our RV and make comments on things that were Not clean or taken care of. They did our orientation on another unit because ours wasn't ready. And in the 17 months that we owned this RV it was in the shop for nine months. Jayco is a horrible brand. It is not made well things would break just with regular use. And God forbid You are on a bumpy road because cabinets would break things would fall out of cabinets, which did not stay closed... We talked to them about trading in our RV and they would not stand behind the piece of crap that they sold us. The gentleman named Mike at the RV show was disrespectful and unprofessional. I was never so happy to trade in that piece of crap RV on an amazing unit at a completely different location. We bought a new one at a dealer in MI. They were so professional, and friendly, Our new RV was spotless. When we got our Jayco Accolade Entegra RV, it was filthy. I would not go to these people if my life depended on it. It's worth driving to another state to have a great experience. You will not have a great experience at La Mesa RV. read more

Picked up a used RV from La Mesa RV in Mesa, Everyone who we worked with was helpful . I've seen many reviews about La Mesa RV which are quite negative. My experience has been the opposite. We're from California and the price for the RV we got was quite reasonable as well as what we received in trade in with our old RV. We were treated nicer at La Mesa than at the dealer in California where we had purchased several units. The sales people Cameron & Farrel were not high pressure let us check out RVs and answered questions we had regarding the RV. The negotiating part wasn't bad going back & forth with different numbers until we reached a point where everyone agreed I'm sure more to their end but that's what they do for a living and it's wasn't unpleasant. We were assigned a delivery coordinator (T J) who set up a pick up date for us as well a coordinate repairs which were done to the unit we purchased. He was quite flexible in scheduling fitting our schedule to their date of pick up and repair. He also answered additional questions I had regarding our new RV and tried to insure we were happy with our new unit. We came to pick up the unit (we were early) and do a PDI, they had maybe 4 people running around cleaning the unit . The PDI took several hours and Scott answered any question I had regarding the unit or operation of any systems. We went through all the systems it was a class A. We drove off in the unit and that night I had some issues being unfamiliar with the unit. I called La Mesa the next morning and they returned my call quite quickly and resolved my issues. La Mesa had some items to repair after we took the RV, so when we returned to have the items repaired there were some additional items that came out which they took care of while we were there. So my experience with La Mesa RV in Mesa was quite positive which is why I gave them 4 stars read more

** BUYERS BEWARE... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LA MESA ** Worst experience hands down - Please do not fall in their trap. They are a sleezy, blood thirsty, con artists. They only have one mission sell RVs as fast as they can before you realize what you got taken for. Hopefully sharing my experience will make you think twice about even walking on their lot or attending one of their shows. We attended one of their shows with the intent to find a vehicle in which we could spent more time together as a family. I have High School daughter, Middle School son, and toddler. Road trips are tough crammed in a car, with kids getting older wanted to enjoy the journey more getting to where we were headed. Never owned an RV or ridden in one. Well that was music to the "salesman's" ears. Every picture he painted was a far cry from reality. The coach was beautiful inside, lot of room for the kids. They loved it. Since it was literally in the middle of the showroom at the show we DID NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO TEST DRIVE IT. Not normally something I'd do, but for the ridiculous price and salesman description that it road like a dream, these things increase in value due to limited supply because of covid, yada, yada, yada... We bought it. Blindly, clearly blindly. Within 30 days we took our first road trip. Discovered several flaws in the coach (of course you never know until your drive it for a length of time, clearly none of them "covered in their warranty" which is a whole other tangent we could discuss that is sleezy). But the biggest concern is the fact that this coach rides rough. So rough that I was the sickest I have ever been. My teenage daughter in the same physical state. This clearly will not work for our family. Reached out to La Mesa, describe the situation. They absolutely could careless that I just spent a fortune on and could not use. But "kindly" offered to rebuy it from me for $25k less than what I just paid 30 days prior. You complete scoundrels. You knew exactly what you just did, found some unsuspecting buyer to unload this on without a test drive and then completely eff them over after I put $15k down just to cover licensing and taxes and want me to give it back to you for $25k less than I currently owe after 30 days. I thought maybe this buyer is just misinformed. 3 months later, supervisor after supervisor, customer service after customer service. Only message I heard. We have to make a profit of at least $15,000 on it. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM REITERATED. The Buyers have told us our best bet is to just take their deal. Yet I had one of their own sales managers tell me it would be much easier and cost effective for me to sell it on my own, because, you guessed it they HAVE to make $15,000 minimum on a unit.  So, an RV I've owned for (well I guess 4 months now) is going to cost me $40k so you can continue to make a profit by selling to any unsuspecting victim. I have reached out to customer service, joke as well, and they said what the buyers were offering was more than they could even say yes to. I go back to buyers to get the price we negotiated up to and then they come back with a number $10,000 less than that! La Mesa RV I can't wait until karma catches up with you and your unethical business practices! The fact that you can't do right by one customer because, in your own words, you wont be able to make enough money. This unit was sold to us less than 6 months ago and I'm sure you made at least $15,000 then. Now you want to offer us a number to where you can make another $15-20K on based on what your sales manager told me he would list it at is absurd. For anyone reading this... If you want an RV... BUY IT FROM A PRIVATE SELLER!!!! we bought or 2018 Georgetown RV on March 14, 2022. drove home to Oregon and found that when we pulled down the bed above the seats that this unit had leaked and had pink mold on the ceiling. I called and was told there was nothing they could do for me, check with the warranty people. i proceeded to our destination in Oklahoma. We received a big storm while we were there, and when I went inside the RV after about a week the whole ceiling was covered in pink mold. I took the unit to Camping World and found out it was a $23,000 fix because it needed a whole new roof. the warrant I bought for about $10,000 wont cover any kind of water damage....What a rip off! I once again called Mesa and was again told they couldn't do anything because when I bought this unit it wasn't new. I can't and won't believe they didn't know this problem existed before I bought it and just chose to ignore it. read more

Follow up review : Traveled in from LA to here to purchase RV- many lies and damages not reported etc - we conclude that issues will be fixed on a return visit as we were buying rv to got to New York Attend my mothers funeral and come back with items we needed to clear from estate - La Mesa rv contracts sale with us that they will fix items they couldn't on a return visit - well - we just went out of our way in $and time to come back for contracted parts and fixes- - we confirmed 5 times that our appointment would be okay and parts were in - all said yes yes yes- and Ryan never returned our calls - and was to be our go to ! Arrive - and leave vehicle with a few issues on communication. Ryan has list of to do and says parts are- give us half a day and we'll call you. Calls 5 minutes before closing - says they could not do most of the items contracted for fixing - as the parts were sent back - Well- we confirmed etc and have contacts to live by and this we travels way out of way to finish the contract with la Mesa rv So they screwed us again - no one wants to help - manager hangs up on us after he and Ryan before we're rude etc - not allowing us to speak and we were supposed to get back on road per out of travels way and need to return to home base for work etc - no one cared they didn't meet their contractual agreement - 2 hang ups on us trying to explain the past promises -they said they would talk to Rick (manager- another to stay away from ) and he wasn't even in that day - Let's just close this with - they want to sell you what ever that can - and screw ya the whole time - and after even if you have contracts - They don't care about anyone Please stay away from this place We were screwed by them and they don't care - they take your money and waste your money on their promises and don't care - - and PS follow up - we broke down with the vehicle for three days - missed my mothers funeral - we called them for assistance if they could at least let us know what they think it was - no one - no one would return a call or help - Rick no- Ryan no- sales no - others no - Matt no - just wanted a pointer - help - Finally got great mechanic kid to come to break down site - 3rd day - Found a hose was breaking - dry - and finally fell off the air leveling system - Fixed in five minutes- he mentioned it looked dry and we most likely had problems for a while - AND YEA WE DID- since test drive - Erin and all said it seemed to ride bumpy and rough - we thought it was bumpy and rough - they said that's how it is- when they actually were lying and this was the start from day one of issue - Gia lot broke off and we were not able to travel - missed moms funeral - and never got any help from them - and brought it up now as original day issues and they didn't care - Just continue to screw ya over - Stay away from the place - just a suggestion as it's been lies, rudeness, fake peeps , lies about safety and the rv's etc Just understand - stay away - the market is flooded now - go buy from anywhere else read more

While on vacation we called the Albuquerque LaMesa RV to see if they could fix four things on our motorhome. They set up an appointment for 9am the next morning. Service Advisor Dominic Gallegos inspected our motorhome, and clarified exactly what he recommended and the exact cost.
