This is a review specifically for the orientation I received on my 2023 Storyteller Mode LT before I took delivery. Mike V was outstanding -- he went through all of the systems verbally AND actuated all of the systems. B/c he took the time to actuate the water valves we discovered a leak that was later traced to a plumbing fitting that had not been crimped by storyteller during manufacturing. Previous owner had never noticed b/c they didn't use the siphon function to fill their water tank. Thanks to Mike V's diligence Mike S (repair tech) was able to diagnose the leak as manufacturer not crimping a fitting at time of manufacture and repair the leak in less than 15 min. La Mesa is only interested is getting the unit off their lot so you get to live the dream of failures. They failed to earn the $1499 fee to make sure everything works on our 2026 Tiffin GT1 class B. it's only been 30 days, no contact from La Mesa after the sale. you decide...... The doc in this unit was for a GH2, nothing matched this one. no owners manual. 1. Fuel tank had 2 screw holes in it, leaking diesel everywhere including the showroom where they covered that up. La Mesa did replace the tank, which took all day while I sat there after a 40 mile drive. 2. Batteries don't charge from the alternator. this is fixed, it was never connected from the factory. 3. Solar never worked, the Spyder showed a negative current flow while the solar info says 10 amps. Then one day it just turned off. Took the GT1 to a different service provider, East Valley RV Specialists in Mesa AZ. 35 miles closer to my home. Technician found many connectors with bad crimps. it's online but still shows negative on the Spyder. Tech says it's not installed correctly. 4. Bluetooth apps never worked, again bad crimps on the device and now it's closer but the app has no floor plan for a GT1 so nothing works. read more

We purchased a 2025 Thor Tranquility from La Mesa RV in October 2025, and unfortunately our experience after the sale has been disappointing. Within two weeks of bringing the van home, the main control screen failed, which meant none of the power systems in the back of the van would work. We brought it in for service, and while the repair team was courteous and professional, it took about two weeks to replace the screen. After getting the van back, it worked for only a week or two before the same issue happened again. I reached out to the customer service line twice regarding our experience and concerns, but never received a follow-up phone call. That lack of communication and inability to use our vehicle has been especially frustrating. The service staff we interacted with in person were kind and respectful, but the overall post-purchase support and reliability of the unit have not met our expectations. When investing in a vehicle like this, responsive customer service and dependable follow-up are critical. read more

We took the van in for service and some warranty work. One item was the entry table which is cracked and peeling. Apparently Jayco denied that claim as the table is damaged. No kidding! It's called shoddy workmanship. How is this La Mesa RV's problem? Well, they sold us the van. If Jayco won't cover their warranties, maybe LaMesa should. Unfortunately, La Mesa RV's Mantra seems to be "we have your money, have a nice day!" Also, even though we were told that the firefly would be hooked to an app during our walkthrough, that never happened. And after I called Entegra concerning the inability hook the app up, they said according to the VIN it has a module. The La Mesa we took it to for service and to hook it up says according to Entegra our van never had a module. So, if LaMesa has actually followed through with their walk through and orientation, they would have known that before we took it home. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LaMesa RV Center AT ANY LOCATION. Test drive motor coaches to find a unit that suits your needs, but DO NOT PURCHSE ANYTHING FROM THIS VENDOR. My wife and I read reviews like this, but chalked up the feedback to a minority of vocal customers - you don't hear from the folks that are happy. We were wrong. Following is a chronology of our experience with La Mesa since purchasing our 2024 Winnebago Ekko in May 2024. April 2025: Recall Repair Our vehicle was affected by a recall relating to the solar panel power system. We dropped the vehicle off at the scheduled time. It was in like new condition. We're particular about or motorcoach and wanted to be respectful of the repair professionals (using this term loosely). It was CLEAN. We were told the repairs took one day to complete and we could pick the vehicle up same day next week. I explained that we needed the work done on time because we had a trip planned. I called the day before to confirm pickup time because I had not heard from the dealer. The work was not complete at that time, but I was told they would get it done in time for pickup. At the scheduled pickup time I was handed over a motorcoach that apparently was in the hands of teenagers and used by a family of badgers. It was FILTHY. Every surface was covered in dirt and dust (except for the hand prints all over the vehicle that wiped the dust away...). A number of grease stains were left on the floor. They even popped open the table, used it and left rings from their drinks on the table top. The fridge was scratched (It had to be removed and reinstalled to complete the repair). Because we had a trip scheduled I had to take the vehicle as is. When I got it home I realized that none of the power systems were checked. The inverter was never turned on or reset and all of the control unit settings were messed up. I spent a good amount of time troubleshooting and trying to figure out what was wrong and how to reset all of the electrical systems ... in addition to a couple of hours of my time to clean up after the 12 year-olds that were assigned to work on my motor coach. At delivery for this warranty repair work I also reported a number of issues relating to a water leak, the awning and man door that fall under warranty and needed attention. Additionally, I placed an order for a damaged fender molding. It was agreed that the warranty items would be addressed in 4-6 weeks when the molding arrived from the factory. May 2025: Warranty Service A service appointment was scheduled to address the issues noted above. Upon arrival I learned the molding that I ordered was never ordered from the factory. This part would require another 6 weeks for delivery. I left the vehicle with La Mesa so their service team could address the water leak, man door and awning. We use our vehicle regularly, so it was agreed that we could collect it same day next week. At pickup I was informed that the man door and awning would need to be replaced. Neither could be repaired. They said they couldn't find a leak. I was also told that the molding part was ordered. Lead time for all parts is 4-6 weeks. At this point, I had little confidence in the service department. Delivering my vehicle to their service location is inconvenient to say the least and I'm not willing to make multiple trips - especially if they can't be relied upon to order parts or do work. I agreed to bring the vehicle in when all parts are received and ready for installation. June 2025 After 8 weeks passed and no call from the La Mesa service department to schedule repairs I called to ask about status of parts and when work would be scheduled. I learned that no lead time could be confirmed for parts delivery. I suspect they were again not ordered, but can't confirm. I asked for a callback from the store manager. No one returned my call. I was told that all parts were ordered and would be available in 4-6 week. As of July 31, 2025 no parts are on hand and no delivery date confirmed. We lost an entire summer of use of our motorcoach with no end in sight. read more

Quality control on the RV we got was terrible. Window crank bremoken, screen door plastic is broken, carpeting on steps coming up and the driver seat material is ripped.
