Spoiled avocado on a freshly made torta de Jamon.
    Lety Z.

I've always been a loyal customer to this location but starting today I don't think I'll be purchasing anything from here anymore. I got myself a torta de jamon on my break today and I didn't realize that the avocado they added on my torta was spoiled, it's so black you can't even tell it's avocado anymore. I'm so upset that they did that to me because the torta was fresh, I watched as she was making, I just failed to pay attention to what she was adding on it. I honestly always get good service from them, I wasn't expecting this at all.

I had an amazing banana split withorth my kids on a beautiful Sunday afternoon walk through town.

The first time we stopped in, I noticed this ice cream shop was not what I expected. The paletas are not the traditional flavors the guys with the carts push around. This is a more exciting kind of paleta. Most of them have chunks of fruit in them and some flavors are not what you're used to. I opted for the yogurt when I saw people walking by with a cup full of a white liquid and fruit inside. This is straight up Mexican yogurt. A little sour, liquidy, and addicting. You get your choice of any or all of the toppings: peanuts, granola, Oreos, coconut and raisins. They're pretty brand new and don't really have any signs up with the full menu but so far, from what I can tell, their selection includes paletas, some very creative flavors of ice cream (Mangoneadas= mango ice cream with Tajin and chile), Mexican yogurt, cueritos, and elotes. It seems they are planning on opening a second location in Berwyn soon. The only thing that sucks is that it is located in a small strip mall and since it has quickly become very popular, parking is difficult.

Good prices. Great selection of authentic desserts and snacks. It gets extremely busy when it gets warm out but it's worth it.

Nice ice cream place...but better brush up on your Spanish lol

Not a bad place...prices were good !! I got a 2 scoop and whipped cream for 3bucks and change. There aren't any signs to tell you what the flavors are, so you're forced to try to understand the girls spanglish description of what's what..lol that was kinda annoying but could be easily remedied if they wanted. Nice people, nice prices, and good variety of flavors n toppings to choose from.

    Durring christmas timw !

From the start, I was greeted by the smiliest (yes, I know it's not a word) preteen, beaming with pride as she handed me the menu while the other woman working was outside. That moment alone set the tone--the place spoke frankly, and I felt welcome. Now, let's talk about the food. The waffles with toasted pancakes were a treat, and when I asked to add bananas, there wasn't the slightest complaint. I also ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet--oh my goodness! The red potatoes were soft, seasoned perfectly, and plentiful. The chef was generous with the ham, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, jalapeños, and green peppers. The best part? Those extra veggies weren't even part of the original skillet--they were suggested by the waitress, and she absolutely knew what she was talking about. It ended up being the veggie boost I didn't know I needed. What really moved me, though, was watching family and community woven together so seamlessly inside this little spot. It almost brought tears to my eyes. I needed this respite. I needed the children. I needed the Meat Lovers Skillet. I needed those Saturday morning cartoons. For thirty minutes, I sat in pure peace and joy. Every moment mattered. Thank you. P.S. The only reason this review isn't five stars is the clutter--my ADHD knocked it down one. Next time, I'll sit outside and enjoy the peaceful patio and its inviting chairs. Thank you, Mora Mia, for being a container of peace for your patrons today.

They were so accommodating, they even asked if the dogs needed water. The service was amazing. They were very attentive. Although I was outside, I want to mention that inside was charming. To start, they gave complimentary chicken noodle soup; it was flavored pretty well and was great temperature. I ordered the molletes and boy oh boy were they delicious. I regret not ordering two orders, it came with a special Verde salsa . I also ordered a side of strawberry French toast, I highly recommend. For my main dish I ordered the southwestern omelet, I thought it was ok... they forgot the cilantro so I asked for a side , I was expecting a bit more of a kick as well, it should be noted that the potatoes were perfectly crispy but I had to add salt. The horchata shake is worth tasting, it was different but a good thing to try at least once.

It was one of the closer places near the fitness center that appeared once I searched 'smoothies' in my search list. I was very open to making the short drive to 26th street in Little Village where it is located. The cool fact about 26th is that it is known as Chicago's Mexican Magnificent Mile. And it kind of makes you feel as though your not in Chicago as well. Yogolandia Yogurt & Botana Bar is shared with a candy store named 'Dulcelandia' that sells a variety of candy and pinatas! I had to go back and research this because after walking in the door I was thrown off by the cute pinatas which gave it a colorful, yet fun filled vibe that I imagine drives children wild. Being that this was a visit I planned at the spare of the moment with little information about the menu I was slightly overwhelmed, but with a little guidance from the employee I got on track. I felt very welcome during this visit. And I'am sure the employees felt that new customer vibe based off my attentiveness to the menu and flavor options. Prior to choosing my flavor I was greeted by an employee who offered me complimentary candy which was hard to pass up. Oh my God; the top-it-yourself combination I put together tasted like heaven! Out of the four frozen yogurt selections available I chose strawberry (Fresa) with the choice of kiwi and strawberry toppings out of a wide assortment of fruits, chocolate, cereal and even doritos! Ok now! Your options for parking is either metered on the 26th street strip or within the neighborhood. I paid no more than one dollar for thirty minutes, but ended up not staying the full thirty minutes; opting out of eating inside; eating majority of my frozen yogurt in my car. In closing; with the way everything panned out I most definitely wouldn't hesitate on visiting again if I am nearby. On top of visiting Yogolandia Yogurt & Botana Bar again for frozen yogurt; it gives me yet another chance to visit Chicago's Mexican Magnificent Mile. ~Blessings~ Thomas G
