They are professional, knowledgeable and efficient with their service. Their ice cream is rich, smooth, and flavorful. You know what I thought all the michoacanas were the same but they're clearly not. I came to this one on Saturday on the Fourth of July. Pick up a couple of ice cream bars for the family. And honestly they weren't that great. If anything I felt like they're old. Probably. The only thing I did like was that they wrapped the ice cream bars in aluminum. So they were able to Make it all the way to the house without Melting but besides that, I definitely wouldn't come back to this location. read more

Terrible experience. If we were coming in 10 minutes before closing, then I would understand the annoyance from the staff, but we were about an hour before closing. As we walked in the store, we were immediately greeted by one of the staff members who was sweeping in front rolling her eyes. There were a couple customers who were there, but it seemed like they knew the staff as they were laughing at us and made glances to each other as we entered. Immediately unprompted, another staff member yelled out that the samples were limited to three per person as if we were planning on freeloading. Overall, the service was so poor that it was a complete turn off and we ended up not ordering any food. I'm sure the other chains are better, but if you're looking for a place with terrible service and poor staff etiquette, then this is the shop for you. After hanging out for my brother's birthday and racing, I was looking for a place to have ice cream after dinner, and I found this place on maps since it was close to where we hung out. The women here didn't speak English well, but they'll understand you perfectly. There was a mix of patrons speaking English and Spanish, and I was able to speak enough Spanish to learn that this La Michoacana is different from the other locations because their ingredients are fresh. I accidentally deleted the photo of my ice cream that I wanted to share, but the treat was definitely enjoyable. I'd like to share too that this location is one of the most well-lit and cleanest La Michoacanas I have ever been to. It was a great first impression with the warmth and welcoming nature of the ladies running the place. The ambiance contributed to the enjoyment of my treat, and this place is definitely a gem. Amazing customer service! and so much yumminess to choose from! They have many flavors of ice cream, paletas, agua frescas, mangonadas, and so much more. The girls working on Sunday evening of labor day weekend were the best! So sweet, welcoming and offered samples. The restaurant is super clean, bright and airy. I ordered 2 fresas con crema with nuez and granola and the girl put peanuts instead of nuez. I left and realized it after when I tried them 15 mins later and noticed that it was not nuez. I was 30 mins away and I called them and told them but they said I had to go back that same day and bring it back but I was not able to drive back again, I told them if I could come by the next day and the girl said no. I was craving an elote preparado, so I searched a Michoacana that would me close to school. I found this one, and the place is pretty clean. There were many people eating inside already so it gave me good vibes. When I took the first bite, the corn was dry and hard. There was no flavor at all. Not even the mayo had flavor. The only flavor I could taste was the chili powder, which surprisingly tasted good. I was really disappointed because I was really craving it and it looked good. Not sure if it was an older corn, or if it was over cooked. Hopefully, the owner becomes aware of this. The manager was rude and didn't help me, when he saw me waiting to order, and just walked in the back.
