Very disappointed, I ordered the lg fruit with no chili or anything on it besides lemon , it was just slices (not many slices at that ) not cut up as usual to fill up the container, for $13 and change it was half full, I also ordered strawberries and cream , only for it to taste sour , had to throw it away for $23 for 2 things , both disappointing will not be going back nor would I recommend it to any of my friends/ family . I don't usually review places that leave a bad taste in my mouth literally, but my elote sucked so bad. Like I don't know how you can screw up something so simple, but first bite and absolutely no flavor. Perhaps a lack of spice? Maybe that a majority of any flavor in my esquite was washed away from the corn water that took up a majority of the cup? I also paid 7 bucks for the largest which was honestly the average size at most michoacanas, so it was overpriced, tasted like crap, and I had to throw it out after a couple bites because it was so gross. I have never had an elote so terrible before, and although service was fast and quick, any place that serves me disappointment over esquites leaves me no choice to act upon impulse of writing a bad yelp review :( read more

Dozen paleta receipt paid this week. I love the ice cream here and used to be regular customers but after the price increased we stopped. The desire to pick up ice cream even during the cold season has left us. Paid $56 for 24 paletas while still getting one free per dozen. I enjoyed the prices they had when they first opened the business. My favorite food app FiveStar helped make racking points for discounts and free scopes so much fun, I was there almost everyday. Then they made a second store and removed it from the original store. I won't be a regular here anymore but am glad to know they serve great quality thanks for the good times. I have to admit I have never tried Mexican ice cream before and didn't even know its existence until I came to this place. I was quite excited until I saw the menu. Oh my God, the fonts were small and crowed and I had no idea what I was reading. Then I noticed the sample spoons on the counter, yes! The ice cream lady was very nice and attentive. I tried bunch of different flavors and some flavors I have never even heard of. I got the pineapple and guava. The portion was HUGE for two flavors at $3.75. What I didn't like was they stacked the ice cream on top of each other, not side by side. Since the portion was big, it took me a while to finally finish the first flavor before I could get to my second one. Also, I am not sure if it was me, but they both started to taste the same as I progressed and lost the flavor I have tasted from earlier. I would probably not return because I was a little scared from all the high sugar levels and food coloring, even though it was exciting to see this location. I always love going here when I'm in corona. It's like a little treat after I painfully get my eyebrows done a few stores down. They not only have ice cream, they have a variety of Hispanic treats, including elote, which is my favorite. It can get packed at times, which some what puts the staff under pressure. So be sure to visit your first time when it's slow so you can try all of the samples and talk with the staff member about any questions you may have, they are extremely helpful when it's slow. read more

This was our second time here. The first I bought the bionico and it was packed with fruit that was nice a ripe. However, this time the young kid that was making our bionico was forgetting to put fruit. I told him everything in it. Had to remind him to put things in. Then he was so so so stingy with the portions. I even told him extra but I guess he didn't know what that meant. I was even about to pay and realized he forgot to put the bananas and the apples!!!!! Btw this review is for the location near Lincoln and 6th st in Corona, which just opened. I'm assuming it's a new location? I'm thankful they open at 10 and not noon like similar places. And all the Paletas that were ready for those school kids when they stampede in later when it's hot! I couldnt decide what to get. I looked at the menu and there's a lot goin on in Spanish but there's also an English translation so look closer. I wish the girl behind the counter would've helped more than she did. She was courteous but she was busy with something else I guess. Every question I asked she was able to answer. I saw paletas with water (con agua or was it con agua?) And I saw paletas de creme? Or con creme? (I know basic spanish). Then I saw Mangonadas and I asked her about those right away and I was sold. I wanted something authentic and she said those were the popular items. It was horrible I ordered a Mangoniada They told me the ingredients it comes with and I choose Watermelon. It was like sweet cream with chamoy and chili. That was pretty gross. I was given the Mangonada and something else with yogurt and lots of fruits inside. It was topped with sunflower seeds and raisins. Both were very good!! I've never had anything like this. Semi healthy as well just incase you're wondering. The Mangonada was full of different flavors with the tamarind stick. It was sweet, spicy, sour and salty all in one. I can see how it can be very addicting. I feel like I'm going to have to try it again at some point. The other item (forgetting the name) was a cup full of fruits like grapes, melon, and apples. A businesses success depends on the quality of food/items sold and customer service! For me customer service is a big deal. Every-time I come there is only one female working. Every single time the females are rude. I placed my order in Spanish and the employee responded in English. I then spoke to her in English and she would respond to me in Spanish. Once I received my food and paid she simply walked away. I stop and stared and told her THANK YOU twice. It wasn't till I said THANK YOU again that she acknowledged I was still there. This location is the closest but I would rather do the drive to McKinley where the girls are much nicer. read more

After Me and the hubs finished lunch next door at El Guero we had a hankering for something SWEET! As soon as we walked in- it felt like what I thought an ice cream truck was like inside...(when I was a kid of course). Hot pink and neon green signs. I had no idea what to get because everything was just so overwhelming. At the front of the store as soon as you walk in, they serve fresh juices. Then they have their flavored ice cream, and salty snacks. Closest to the register is there popsicles, and ice cream sandwiches. When I was waiting to place my order I saw these two twin girls order the strawberries and cream- and it was OVER. OMG! A scoop of ice cream, topped with fresh cut strawberries, drowning in sweet cream- add granola and whipped cream. Gahh!! I'm drooling all over again just writing this. I love their ice cream! Every ice cream is made fresh on the premises and you can tell. They have more than 31 flavors and they taste better than 31 flavors. The flavors of ice cream are so unique. I had a scoop of pine nut ice cream and a scoop of nuez con mantequilla! Delicious! They aren't located all over. They're just in Corona for now however, they are really big in Mexico .
