So many varieties I just want to try them all. I especially liked the tropical and Hawaiian-inspired options. I got their coconut pineapple flavor with their waffle cone and it tasted rich, creamy, and super fresh. The staff was very friendly and patient while we sampled flavors, and they even gave us some recmmendations. There were fun accessories spread around the shop that added a unique touch to the visit. OMG, how am I just having this! A happy and sad discovery for our family. Sad because it took us so long to come out and try, happy because we tried it we liked it and we will be back soon. Lappert's has so many flavors, lots of Hawaiian inspired flavors and we love all things Hawaiian. My husband and daughter got the Hana Road and I got the Kuai Pie. I don't understand how Lappert's isn't busier!!! Their ice cream was SO GOOD. They were very generous with samples, and we got to try so many flavors! We had a hard time deciding which one to get because they were all amazing. Service was also super friendly!! I ended up getting the Mocha Chip and my bf ended up getting the Pecan Praline. One thing we noticed was that their ice cream wasn't TOO sweet! I've tried White lyon and I thought their ice cream was overwhelmingly sweet for me, but Lappert's is the perfect amount of sweetness! IT'S HOT IN RIVERSIDE! What better time than to jump in the car and cruise to the neighboring town of Norco for an ice cream cone. Why take the time for the drive? My friend came down to our area to hang with us and we decided to get ice cream for the kids and found this place. I've never heard of this place but from her review of what she remembers, she's had this before in Vegas and said it was pretty good since it has Hawaiian flavors , we decided to try this location. My husband and I were very excited to go to Lappert's today. We just moved to the area, but knew the Lappert's name from our vacations in Kauai and Palm Springs. I saw online that they even carried vegan oat milk based ice cream flavors and had dairy free options for their date shake. I'm allergic to dairy so I was looking forward to our visits. However, when we went to the store today the employee told me they do not carry any oat milk based flavors and they used regular dairy ice cream for their date shake and just add oat milk when the sign clearly says you can make it dairy free?? I was so disappointed by their false advertising. I even tried to clarify if the oat milk based ice cream was just not in the rotation this week and she said they never carry it. The sorbet I got was good and my husband enjoyed his regular ice cream but I do not understand why they would have these menus if it isn't true. What a huge disappointment. Please have an accurate menu or even better please add the oat milk based ice cream flavors to your rotation so your menu will be accurate. LA-PERTS! We ate at Badlands BBQ and wanted ice cream and this showed up on Yelp. When I think Lappert's I think of Palm Springs because that's the only other place I've seen it, so to see it in Norco was a little weird and to find it was even weirder. Their sign is a small yellow circle so it doesn't stand out. They're in the same shopping center as Round Table Pizza. Samantha was our scooper and she was so nice and patient as we asked her if we could sample the entire right side of the ice cream parlor. She also made the best sundae! I got the coffee flavored ice cream and Kauai pie and was good! It's a nice space in there, super clean, plenty of seating and great for families. We tried: Chocolate: very smooth and velvety with rich chocolate flavor Kona coffee: wow, strong strong coffee taste that's not very sweet Kauai pie: very strong coffee flavor as well, but sweeter, with a crunch from the macadamia nuts Hawaii sea salt caramel: velvety rich vanilla ice cream with tasty streaks of caramel through out. The salt cuts down the sweetness a bit which balances everything out nicely There are plenty of chairs inside for you to enjoy your desserts. The place feels very clean and welcoming. Really made the hour drive worth it and Alyssa was so informative and helpful with picking out and letting us sample different flavors. They have two cases of displays filled with different flavors- ranging from ice creams shipped from their original shop in Hawaii like Hawaiian sea salt caramel, Hana rocky road and Kona coffee- also other flavors that are made by their company here in Richmond California like pistachio, princess cake, coconut pineapple and blueberry cheesecake to name a few. The companies may have the same name but have different ice cream flavors to say the least as the company in the mainland is owned by Walter's sons and they inherited 50 percent of the company according to their website. The ice cream is at a 3.5-4 for me as some of them are personally too sweet but I can appreciate the thought process. I chose the Kauai Pie and Banana Caramel Chocolate Chip in a waffle cone. Kauai Pie is a take on Kona coffee ice cream mixed with macadamia nuts, shredded and toasted coconut flakes and dark chocolate fudge (my personal favorite because it has a intense coffee flavor and the things mixed in are some things I love) banana caramel chocolate chip made it a nice contrast but I would love to try other flavors in the future- hopefully they open one in the Los Angeles area. They have spots in the IE, San Diego and Palm Desert so go check them out if you're ever in those cities. read more

The quality of the ice cream was one of the best I've had and I grab ice cream really frequently. Friends have said it's practically my diet as I grab it every other day. Complimented with a vanilla base, the sea salt balances out a touch of salt to the sweetness of the ice cream.
