We were on our way to visit my MIL for Mother's Day. We accidentally missed the 71 on-ramp since they changed it recently and we don't drive to the area very often. I decided I needed to take a detour to a coffee shop since we already kinda got lost. Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery, is located in a small and old strip mall in old town Norco. Or at least I think it is. I'm not familiar with the area. I can tell you though, that navigation had us driving through newer developments and then the old part of Norco before we finally arrived. I thought we got even more lost at first. The place was actually pretty packed inside and after having our drinks and pastries, I can totally see why. The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to visiting them again. Next time, I for sure will grab a dozen or more to share with the family and bring some home, and we will definitely grab some frozen treats too. Deep Barrel, is a gem. Went here over the weekend with some girlfriends to catch up on life and have some afternoon coffee. I absolutely love their mocha roca iced coffee! It is so good, not too sweet and not too "coffee" flavor. I wish the pastries weren't so expensive, as I would love to try them because they look amazing but they break the bank for me. We all got our coffees and headed outside to sit and enjoy the outdoors and each others company. Love that they have outside seating and you can move some of the tables to make a bigger area. My kids wanted ice cream once I was leaving, so I was able to get them the ube and rainbow sherbet ice cream, which they absolutely loved. Will definitely be back! read more

We've been here a few times and never been disappointed, the coffee, Pastries and ice cream are made perfectly. We ordered the brown sugar banana latte ice, a Dole Whip smoothie, banana bread, and a cheese danish, all of which were delicious. The service is excellent. The youngsters who work here are hard-working and courteous. This establishment has indoor and outdoor tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. read more

Stopped by jere on my way to pick up some paperwork and I'm glad I did. The ladies helping me were so sweet and helpful especially it being my first time. I ordered a peach cobbler latte and even though I didn't get much peach the flavor and balance of the coffee was great. They even have a bar where you can sit and order specially made coffees so if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Such a cute hidden coffee shop! There's plenty of seating and they have ice cream as well!! Had their Horchata Iced Latte and it was made just right ! They have pastries and breads that look absolutely delicious. Limited menu of hot food options. Will be coming back here. Friendly staff as well. read more

I had read a few reviews about the bad experience, the experience my husband and I received was far from that. We came in and the owner was roasting beans. My husband stopped and spoke to him, he was so nice and genuinely explained the process to him. We ended up sitting and chit chatting with him, he had us try a Cafe cuban 20/10. I would say go give this place a try! you will be pleasantly surprised!! read more

On our way up for a soccer match and this place was on the way. Coffee was mediocre like the service. They had a special "spring menu" for their drinks that we ordered from but drinks tasted nothing like what it was. My friends and I tried the horchata iced latte and the strawberries and cream iced latte. Both tasted watery with no hint of coffee in them. The drinks were disappointing. The pastries and ice cream were good. But the coffee was not. read more

Staff were friendly, wasn't too busy, but still a decently amount of customers coming in and out Food we tried: Single scoop cup of Matcha and Chocolate hazelnut ice cream, Deep fried Cookie Monster with captain crunch ice cream, and a Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Bun Matcha and Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream: 9/10; Match wasn't too strong and didn't taste like chemically matcha powder; would get again! Cookie Monster fried ice cream with captain crunch: 7.5/10; Surprisingly NOT too sweet; didn't meet expectations in terms of texture for it being fried; wouldn't get again (at least not this flavor fried) Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll: 8.5/10; My boyfriend normally only gets Cinnamon Rolls from the Orange County fair so he was hesitant on purchasing one from here... he was SO glad he did! I took a bite as well, it was like the epitome of fall goodness. We asked for it warmed up and it was so yummy and not too sweet to the point where your stomach hurts; would definitely purchase again! Overall, if you got a sweet craving there's something definitely here for you that you'll love! AMAZING!! This is quite possible the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. Nice, warm, and chewy dough with a perfect balanced cinnamon filling and absolutely doused with amazing icing. My one complaint would be that there's a little bit too much icing that it's quite messy, but the cinnamon roll itself is sooooo f-ing delicious. The strawberry chocolate deep fried ice cream was pretty good. The strawberry ice cream itself was delicious and super thick and creamy. You can tell the quality is there. I'm not sure I love the fried aspect of it. It kind of just tastes like ice cream covered in stale cocoa cereal crumbs. The inside is super cool and rustic themed. Plenty of seating inside and picnic tables outside. Service was super friendly too! read more

So disappointed in this place. Heard great things and it was not it. Tiny drink and a muffin will run you $10. The drink is so small that the ratio of syrup to espresso and milk is off. My drink was way too sweet.. I'm now driving to starbucks to pick up two extra shots of espresso and a bigger cup to pour my drink into :/ should've just stuck with my regular starbies order today. read more

Cute place in a cute town. They have young kids working who were kind & friendly. In today's day and age, it's actually pretty refreshing and nice to see the younger generation working! We got the horchata fried ice cream. I don't think it's necessarily fried like in a batter but I think they call it that because the toppings included make the crunch like it's fried? Really good though! I wish I liked their coffee though (I got a vanilla bean latte w oat milk), maybe it's because we went a little later in the day but the roast tasted very burnt so I wasn't the biggest fan. read more

I was in the area and knew about this place. I spotted the sign to make sure I was in the right area to park. Plenty of parking iba available. Around 10am, there was plenty of people already here, either outside in their patio area or inside. Inside, looks like your typical coffee roasters with the roaster at the window and the coffee lined up on the shelves. I saw they have it sectioned off with a side entrance for the creamery and the main entrance being the roasters. There are a few small tables. I was taking a look at their menu while the barista let me know if I had any questions. I guess she was sort of helpful but seemed a little annoyed. I asked her recommendation and she said the horchata and strawberry shortcake were popular. They have 3 sizes, sm, med, L. I asked if they had any sandwiches and she pointed to the pastry shelf, where they have sign for sandwiches. The barista left the counter to help another customer while I was trying to decide what to get I decided to get the strawberry shortcake latte and an English muffin sandwich. I noticed my order didn't seem right on the screen and pointed it out to the other barista who took my order. I was going to be charged $26 but my final total came out to $13. My order took a bit and more people were coming in while I was there. I noticed that a lady that ordered after me received her order first and she had 4 drinks. When I order was finally ready, I took a look at the sandwich. It seemed fine. I took a bite and realized they had forgotten to put cheese on it. I was not impressed. My drink was also okay, I tasted the strawberry but it seemed a little watered down at first. Sort of seemed they made my order in a rush and with little care. I'm a little disappointed as I wanted to like this place. I would come back to have their ice cream but probably not anytime soon. I didn't really have a pleasant experience. read more

The food and service was great! The spot is cute and cozy but can also feel a bit cramped. You can definitely hear most table conversations around you so I wouldn't see it fit if you're wanting privacy and a quiet space. There were outlets throughout, though, where you can charge your electronics, if the sound and crowd doesn't bother you. read more

Omgggggg this place is DELICIOUS! Stumbled upon it late night as we needed coffee for a long drive home. I got the fave pastry, the strawberry shortcake pastry and a build your own deep fried ice cream. I got biscotti ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal OMG!!! Soooooo delicious! After having one of their coffees brought to me, it was my turn to pop in for myself. The coffee is great and the flavor really comes through even with flavored lattes. They also have a section of ice cream which we of course had to try as well. The employees were all pleasant and greeted us when we walked in. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is tucked off the road and really cozy for a coffee stop. Prices are fair for what you receive. read more

Visited a friend in Norco and she introduced me to this amazing spot! I'm lactose intolerant but she said this was worth it so I took some lactaid and trusted her. Happy to share it was worth it! I thoroughly enjoyed my biscoff ice cream and had some of their freshly made cinnamon rolls... everything was SO GOOD! The best cinnamon roll I've had ever and incredible ice cream in all its full dairy glory. Inside is so charming and smells like yummy roasty coffee. Can't wait to come back! read more

Stepped out for a quick coffee date and decided to try a new local spot. As soon as I walked in, the staff was very welcoming, lots of smiles all around. I asked for a recommendation for an iced drink, and one of the staff suggested the matcha with strawberry purée. I paired it with a ciabatta ham and cheese sandwich. During my visit, the place was quiet with light foot traffic, making it perfect for a calm and relaxed sit-down. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. read more

It's my first time to this local joint. The workers were very nice and they got the drinks out fast. I love the wall dedicated to law enforcement. Their coffee flavor was pretty good but I am not sure it will be my new to go place. Their matcha was alright but I didn't expect much from a mainly a coffee place. After they made a similar drink for me I apologized again and said thank you, but the barista glared and ignored me. I haven't been back since. Apologies for ordering something that wasn't available anymore, but maybe the app should've reflected that. I also didn't want to leave a bad review, but seeing as this is becoming a more common experience, I hope that things change because the drinks themselves are pretty good.

Step into Marhaba and you will find yourself in a quaint coffee shop and bakery welcomed by some of the nicest people. I don't recall the young man's name but he worked there on 1/13/26 @ about 830pm and was so hospitable. Im not too knowledgeable on Mediterranean sweets so he explained their menu in detail...unfortunately, most of their goodies were gone. I had their Baklava w/pistachio, a slice of their Knafeh (which I have never had before and knew nothing about) and we also had their Caramel Macchiato and Lavender Latte. I dont think I can properly describe their baked goods other than it was a delectable experience. The Baklava was crisp, rich and not too sweet while the Knafeh with its cheese and various textures just melted in my mouth. My hubby even enjoyed these and he isn't much of a dessert fan! Their coffees were also very good. We both enjoyed what we ordered and look forward to many returns. Thank you Marhaba for your kind hospitality delicious desserts and amazing coffee!

So smooth and creamy! Must get every time. What secret ingredient you ask? Sorry, we can't share. It's a secret! LOL Their Patio Special is a little bit thicker than most which I like. The expresso is a bit stronger than the ones I've tried in the past. Don't get me wrong, it was still very very good. Staff was great. They didn't have very many customers at the time. Service was very quick. Now that I know they are here, I will sure to be back for more Patio Special.
