We were on our way to visit my MIL for Mother's Day. We accidentally missed the 71 on-ramp since they changed it recently and we don't drive to the area very often. I decided I needed to take a detour to a coffee shop since we already kinda got lost. Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery, is located in a small and old strip mall in old town Norco. Or at least I think it is. I'm not familiar with the area. I can tell you though, that navigation had us driving through newer developments and then the old part of Norco before we finally arrived. I thought we got even more lost at first. The place was actually pretty packed inside and after having our drinks and pastries, I can totally see why. The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to visiting them again. Next time, I for sure will grab a dozen or more to share with the family and bring some home, and we will definitely grab some frozen treats too. Deep Barrel, is a gem. Norco, sure is lucky to have them. They are a must if you are ever in the area.
I came back for the free coffee and got the iced toasted marshmallow latte. We also got the lavender ice cream, the salted caramel truffle ice cream, the cheese rolls, and the chocolate twist from the bakery. They offered to warm up the pastries, which was nice. The place is always a sanctuary for AC, good coffee, pastries, and ice cream. There are plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from, and they let you taste-test them, too! They offer a kid's size scoop, but it is the same price as the regular scoop.
We've been here a few times and never been disappointed, the coffee, Pastries and ice cream are made perfectly. We ordered the brown sugar banana latte ice, a Dole Whip smoothie, banana bread, and a cheese danish, all of which were delicious. The service is excellent. The youngsters who work here are hard-working and courteous. This establishment has indoor and outdoor tables to sit down and enjoy your meal.
This has been one of my two favorite coffee shops in the Corona, Norco, Eastvale area! The owner is an amazing guy and always willing to chat. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and a bit country. I appreciate that if you don't know what kind of coffee you would enjoy, the staff will walk through what you would like! Plus they have amazing ice cream for everyone to enjoy. And don't miss out on the cinnamon rolls and pastries. They are delicious as well. Overall, this is an amazing coffee shops right off 6th street!
The inside was cute and inviting, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Latte, and it was delicious, though I wish the coffee flavor had been a little stronger. A large was $7.31. My only disappointment was the breakfast menu. I wish they had more options. Overall, I'd definitely come back for their tasty drinks!
Stopped by jere on my way to pick up some paperwork and I'm glad I did. The ladies helping me were so sweet and helpful especially it being my first time. I ordered a peach cobbler latte and even though I didn't get much peach the flavor and balance of the coffee was great. They even have a bar where you can sit and order specially made coffees so if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be coming back.
I had read a few reviews about the bad experience, the experience my husband and I received was far from that. We came in and the owner was roasting beans. My husband stopped and spoke to him, he was so nice and genuinely explained the process to him. We ended up sitting and chit chatting with him, he had us try a Cafe cuban 20/10. I would say go give this place a try! you will be pleasantly surprised!!
This place was big and busy and service was still polite and FAST!!! Horchata latte, strawberry matcha SO GOOD! Want to go back and try all the yummy sandwiches and food they had! Cute decorations, games, outdoor seating.
I asked the person working if they had any refreshers. They recommended this! It was amazing! Didn't get the name of it but I LOVED it. Definitely better than any Starbucks refresher

I got to Deep Barrel before my friend arrived, so I looked at the menu ahead of time. I planned to get my usual drip coffee and cortado, but there was no cortado on the menu. I figured if they could make a latte, they could make a cortado. When my friend arrived and we ordered, I asked the barista who took our order if I could get a cortado. She said that was no problem at all with no hesitation. The cortado was good, but drip coffee was a little weak. My friend liked his americano and banana bread. (We had ordered an almond croissant but it had been accidentally burned and it was the last one. The barista apologized in such a sincere manner that there was no way we could be upset about that). What impressed me most at Deep Barrel was the great customer service here. I could see that the barista who took our order was really nice and friendly to everyone else too. She greeted all with a smile and was very welcoming. That kind or service is not common anymore. When I had gotten my coffee earlier, I asked that barista (a different woman from the order taker) which beans were used to make my drip coffee and espresso. She took the time to explain what they were using and what she would recommend if I were buying whole beans. I didn't feel like I was bothering her at all, even though they were a little busy. The drip coffee could be a little stronger but everything else was good. Huge props to the customer service here. My friend and I were at the shop for a few hours catching up. We never felt uncomfortable being there so long and the staff never came by to nudge us out. We had been here once before and had the same experience. A lot of people were getting their ice cream, so that may be next on our list.

Staff were friendly, wasn't too busy, but still a decently amount of customers coming in and out Food we tried: Single scoop cup of Matcha and Chocolate hazelnut ice cream, Deep fried Cookie Monster with captain crunch ice cream, and a Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Bun Matcha and Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream: 9/10; Match wasn't too strong and didn't taste like chemically matcha powder; would get again! Cookie Monster fried ice cream with captain crunch: 7.5/10; Surprisingly NOT too sweet; didn't meet expectations in terms of texture for it being fried; wouldn't get again (at least not this flavor fried) Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll: 8.5/10; My boyfriend normally only gets Cinnamon Rolls from the Orange County fair so he was hesitant on purchasing one from here... he was SO glad he did! I took a bite as well, it was like the epitome of fall goodness. We asked for it warmed up and it was so yummy and not too sweet to the point where your stomach hurts; would definitely purchase again! Overall, if you got a sweet craving there's something definitely here for you that you'll love! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the staff was already cleaning up 30 mins prior to closing so it didn't feel as welcoming to stay inside despite it being chilly/ slightly windy outside. Will be coming back again though!
AMAZING!! This is quite possible the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. Nice, warm, and chewy dough with a perfect balanced cinnamon filling and absolutely doused with amazing icing. My one complaint would be that there's a little bit too much icing that it's quite messy, but the cinnamon roll itself is sooooo f-ing delicious. The strawberry chocolate deep fried ice cream was pretty good. The strawberry ice cream itself was delicious and super thick and creamy. You can tell the quality is there. I'm not sure I love the fried aspect of it. It kind of just tastes like ice cream covered in stale cocoa cereal crumbs. The inside is super cool and rustic themed. Plenty of seating inside and picnic tables outside. Service was super friendly too!
I'm a big coffee person, and after recently buying a Terra Kaffe TK-02, I knew I needed to find a good local bean roaster. I'm glad I found this place. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, J.R., who was incredibly welcoming, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the different coffees and walk me through their roasting process, which I really appreciated. I bought Colombian and Brazilian beans. Could smell the freshness and goodness of the bags. Great coffee, great service, and exactly the kind of local business I'm happy to support. I'll definitely be a regular customer moving forward. Such a fun spot in Norco! The atmosphere is a total vibe, welcoming, relaxed, and a great place to hang out. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They have a great variety of food and drink options, so there's something for everyone. And the cinnamon rolls... wow! Absolutely delicious...soft, fresh, and worth the visit all on their own. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Nice little coffee shop with a country feel that fits the town well. The service is okay--nothing that really stood out, but nothing negative either. The specialty coffees are good, and the Cubano was definitely my favorite. It was delicious, just a little on the small side. I also tried the matcha. It was okay, just not my personal favorite. Overall, it's a nice spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the relaxed country atmosphere. read more

I saw this place nearby and decided to pop in after seeing good reviews. I drink coffee everyday, so i was excited to try a new shop. The service here is very kind and answered all my questions knowledgeably. The ice cream was so good! I'd come back for the ice cream, but the coffee was not that great. I ordered a strawberry shortcake latte and it missed. The syrup was at the bottom and barely mixed, you could see a clear separation, so when i took a sip all i got was syrup. The coffee flavor was very faint as well, of course a latte is mostly milk but you're still suppose to get the espresso. After i entered a huge rush of people came in and the workers made remarks about going home and "best shift ever" sarcastically. I understand customer service workers getting a huge rush, but i think some comments could be left off the floor as well, it made the customers uncomfortable coming in. read more
Love Love Deep Barrel Roasters! Service and drinks always on point here! Got me a Matcha blend Frappe with whipped cream. They use both Matcha ice cream and matcha powder. Not too sweet which is a good thing! Highly recommend this place! read more
On our way up for a soccer match and this place was on the way. Coffee was mediocre like the service. They had a special "spring menu" for their drinks that we ordered from but drinks tasted nothing like what it was. We ordered a banana cream latte and an iced marshmallow white mocha that had not even a hint of what it's supposed to be. read more

Cute place in a cute town. They have young kids working who were kind & friendly. In today's day and age, it's actually pretty refreshing and nice to see the younger generation working! We got the horchata fried ice cream. I don't think it's necessarily fried like in a batter but I think they call it that because the toppings included make the crunch like it's fried? Really good though! I wish I liked their coffee though (I got a vanilla bean latte w oat milk), maybe it's because we went a little later in the day but the roast tasted very burnt so I wasn't the biggest fan. read more

So disappointed in this place. Heard great things and it was not it. Tiny drink and a muffin will run you $10. The drink is so small that the ratio of syrup to espresso and milk is off. My drink was way too sweet.. I'm now driving to starbucks to pick up two extra shots of espresso and a bigger cup to pour my drink into :/ should've just stuck with my regular starbies order today. read more

I was in the area and knew about this place. I spotted the sign to make sure I was in the right area to park. Plenty of parking iba available. Around 10am, there was plenty of people already here, either outside in their patio area or inside. Inside, looks like your typical coffee roasters with the roaster at the window and the coffee lined up on the shelves. I saw they have it sectioned off with a side entrance for the creamery and the main entrance being the roasters. There are a few small tables. I was taking a look at their menu while the barista let me know if I had any questions. I guess she was sort of helpful but seemed a little annoyed. I asked her recommendation and she said the horchata and strawberry shortcake were popular. They have 3 sizes, sm, med, L. I asked if they had any sandwiches and she pointed to the pastry shelf, where they have sign for sandwiches. The barista left the counter to help another customer while I was trying to decide what to get I decided to get the strawberry shortcake latte and an English muffin sandwich. I noticed my order didn't seem right on the screen and pointed it out to the other barista who took my order. I was going to be charged $26 but my final total came out to $13. My order took a bit and more people were coming in while I was there. I noticed that a lady that ordered after me received her order first and she had 4 drinks. When I order was finally ready, I took a look at the sandwich. It seemed fine. I took a bite and realized they had forgotten to put cheese on it. I was not impressed. My drink was also okay, I tasted the strawberry but it seemed a little watered down at first. Sort of seemed they made my order in a rush and with little care. I'm a little disappointed as I wanted to like this place. I would come back to have their ice cream but probably not anytime soon. I didn't really have a pleasant experience. read more

The food and service was great! The spot is cute and cozy but can also feel a bit cramped. You can definitely hear most table conversations around you so I wouldn't see it fit if you're wanting privacy and a quiet space. There were outlets throughout, though, where you can charge your electronics, if the sound and crowd doesn't bother you. read more

Omgggggg this place is DELICIOUS! Stumbled upon it late night as we needed coffee for a long drive home. I got the fave pastry, the strawberry shortcake pastry and a build your own deep fried ice cream. I got biscotti ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal OMG!!! Soooooo delicious! Definitely coming back and do yourself a favor and come try one of everything. Also JR is the owner and super nice. Support local! read more
After having one of their coffees brought to me, it was my turn to pop in for myself. The coffee is great and the flavor really comes through even with flavored lattes. They also have a section of ice cream which we of course had to try as well. The employees were all pleasant and greeted us when we walked in. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is tucked off the road and really cozy for a coffee stop. Prices are fair for what you receive. read more
