Let me start by saying the service is great. This shop just opened and the people working in front…read moreare very sweet. The shop inside is small and unfinished looking. Some decor or color seems missing, but the cookie display is pretty cool. Unfortunately we didn't try the shakes or drinks there, because I definitely would not recommend their cookies. Our family very rarely splurges and treat like this and when we do it's to support businesses or just to see what's new in the area. When the competitor for this place with the pink box came we visited and ordered half a dozen cookies and were pleasantly surprised. Twisted Sugar is closer than that other store so we decided it would be fun to try their cookies. The cookies were served cold. Like refrigerator cold. I'm not sure when they bake them or even if they do because the texture is close to a stale Play-dough and the flavor was very chemical like. We ordered size flavors and cut them up to try them all as a family, while some are not as bad there are definitely none that seemed good or remotely tasty. Even the chocolate chip cookie (classic) was a let down. The cookies are the same size at the competition but they lack flavor. You will get sugar but that's about it. I have feeling that these were either not baked correctly or their cookies just is not where it's at with this place. The cookies looked pretty...but for roughly $3 a cookie looks just aren't going to cut it. Other people were coming in for drinks so maybe it's worth it to give those a try. I'm a pretty firm believer in fool me once though- so visiting this place again seems unlikely for us.

Dirty sodas is the future. Service was a 10/10 definitely a must try. Will come back.read more

Small little Mexi-PR fusion cafe on the far east...buzzing…read more I enjoyed a MexiMocha latte. It was a nice little out of the way place that a lot of folks know about. So, it got crowded in the dining room pretty quick. If it weren't so busy or if they cycled through the customers, it would be better. I also got the ham, cheese, and egg sandwich...it was pretty good. No extra ingr dients, just those in the name. Plenty of sandwich...we split two between four peeps. They had a bunch of table games to keep you entertained in case you wanted to hang out I would like to try their guava and other pastries, their Caribbean sandwiches (tripleta, and bistec). Pastries and desserts were looking pretty good. I'd come me back to try, but probably would take it to go. I will try this place out again.

Walking in the area is very cute. I wanted to stay in and eat but I kept getting this ammonia smell…read morethat was making my head hurt so we got the food to go. We got cubanos with tostones. Both were very good and the portions are huge my partner and I should've just shared. I was a little disappointed of their mango tamarindo drink. I thought that it was mango and tamarind(the fruit) mixed together not chamoy and chile(Tajín) in the drink. I wasn't happy and just ordered another and asked if I can have the mango and tamarind without chili and they said yes. The tamarind still has a spice to it which it shouldn't, tamarind is tart and sour. I guess that's where the misconception of Mexican and Puerto Rican terms collide. I would go back but I guess ask next time if the drinks are Puerto Rican terms or in Mexican terms.

My daughter loved the whole idea of it - and chose the Luna. My husband got the S'mores and I the pink strawberry one. Such cute little ice cream scoops with all the toppings, nestled in a bubble waffle cone, Was definitely large enough for two people and was ten dollars. The food truck is so cute! Bright purple, difficult to miss amongst the other food trucks. There are picnic tables to sit at, if the weather was nicer. Service was great. We will return when warmer!

Moon Crystal Power!!!…read more Or ice cream power in this case! What an amazing concept and even better experience of a dessert! At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to even enjoy all the toppings and bubble waffle cone because of how much of a sugar load it was. But I think it helped to share it with friends so I didn't have to feel the high lol. We got the Chibiusa cone which had delicious marshmallow and strawberry to match the pink, fluffy hair of Chibiusa! It was perfection. It also comes with a wafer chocolate roll and we chose chocolate ice cream for it. You can choose between chocolate or vanilla. For a reasonable price of $10, you get a generous scoop of ice cream and all the trimmings PLUS a freshly made waffle bubble. You can't beat it! Im coming back for you Usagi! And your little cat too! (Luna themed ice cream lol)
