She is an angel sent from heaven with healing hands I tell you! Yesterday at 4:30am I was crying in pain because my right foot was swelling and I couldn't pin point what was wrong with it. All I know is I was in pain, and I couldn't walk because moving it is like drilling in my bones. Noontime Laci visited me and checked my foot and I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I was adjusted and and warned that it was not going to be the most pleasant of feeling but I will feel relief after. She taught me the techniques on how to stretch and things to do as well to take care of my foot. I found Laci online when I was looking for a new chiropractor who was available during the hours I could see someone for treatment. I'm so glad I did! I was surprised at how much time she spent trying to understand my situation and conditions. I have never had a chiropractor go into so much depth with the new patient forms. Usually, they just have you fill it out and forget what you're even going to them for in the first place. Dr. Laci is fantastic! Over the years I've seen many chiropractors, and I know a great one when I see her. Unlike some other chiropractors who want you to visit them every week in perpetuity, Dr. Laci wants you to get well quickly. She is kind-hearted and honest. Few years ago I had severe pain in my right forearm. I had several acupuncture and massage treatments, which helped a bit initially but the pain kept on coming back. Dr. Laci healed it and I haven't had that pain since then. Over the last 3.5 years I've received treatments from her for various issues, and she's always been able to heal them in limited number of sessions. Dr. Laci (also known as "Magic Hands") has been an absolute godsend, and I wouldn't be walking today if it weren't for her. I've been seeing her ever since I mysteriously hurt my back at the beginning of March. The pain I was experiencing was so severe that I fainted one morning, and I could barely crawl around on my hands and knees. I had to go to the emergency room, and the MRI revealed that I had a significant disc herniation at L5-S1. Desperate for help after seeing three unhelpful doctors who just wanted to mask the problem with narcotics and epidural shots, my boyfriend contacted Dr. Laci and she came to our apartment immediately. My father (who lives in Chicago) has been a chiropractor for over 20 years and was extremely skeptical of having anyone work on me, fearful that he or she would only make me worse. Dr. Laci was kind enough to get on the phone with him and discuss exactly what her plans were to help get me on my feet again. Afterward, my father said that Dr. Laci "clearly knows what she is doing" - which means A LOT coming from my dad! Dr. Laci was able to quickly determine that my herniated disc wasn't the only source of my debilitating pain - it was also my sacroiliac joint. After my second session with her, I was able to stand up and take a couple of feeble steps for the first time in two weeks. Dr. Laci became the director of my recovery, and I relied on her heavily. Due to her diligence and attentiveness, I cancelled an appointment for an epidural shot (corticosteroid) that was scheduled by the first orthopedic surgeon I had seen because Dr. Laci informed me that corticosteroids are extremely harmful for people with Lyme Disease (which my LLMD later confirmed). The orthopedic surgeon had simply dismissed my illness, but Dr. Laci listened and paid close attention to all of my needs. After dodging this bullet, I didn't try any other treatments/therapy or see any other doctors without consulting her first. My condition continued to improve every single time she worked on me, and it was so evident that she truly cared about my well-being. Her optimism and positivity continuously lifted my spirits - she would always text me in between sessions to see how I was feeling and offer words of encouragement. My boyfriend and I were no longer alone on my road to recovery. Finally, a doctor I can trust in my new home of Los Angeles!
