I've never had a bad experience, ever. These women know how to hand paint designs that look exactly like the photo that you bring in from Pinterest, they're so sweet, and so kind. Sky, the team lead, is one of the best and really makes sure that the clients and her team are taken care of. Sky, Nu, Udi, and Tess and my favorite gals there, but you won't be disappointed my any one that does your nails. Also, they have this really cool jelly pedicure that my kids LOVE. I chose this salon based on its ratings and how pretty the inside of the salon looks like but don't get fooled like me, okay so I came in expecting professionalism, clear communication, and a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. I was charged $220 for a regular acrylic set and a basic pedicure, with no pricing discussed beforehand even after I showed a reference photo. That lack of transparency made the final total feel less like a service and more like rack up the bill scam. There was also a noticeable pattern of upselling throughout the appointment, particularly being pushed toward gel polish, along with additional charges for every small change or request. None of this was clearly explained upfront, which made the experience feel less like self-care and more like constant add-ons. As a mom, this was supposed to be my time to relax and reset, and I never actually got that feeling while being there. Instead of a calming experience, it felt like I had to stay alert to avoid unexpected charges. Even more concerning was the pedicure itself. A metal cheese grater was used on my feet noticed they used that tool on everyone btw, and by the next day my feet felt rougher than before I came in which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a pedicure. I've been here twice now, once for getting gel-x nails with 3D designs, and once for getting them taken off. Both times I had an appointment and waited about 5 minutes for each. Evelyn did my nails and the designs were flawless. The nails lasted weeks with no issues. There was little to no burning under the led lights while the gel was hardening, which means she had skill. My sister got her nails done around 10:15am and I swear the lady that did her nails was so aggressive and rude she even cut her while doing some filing with the machine. When she was doing the French tip design that my sister asked for, the lady was making it so messy and when my sister asked to get it cleaned up the lady got upset. Also, my sister didn't ask for a very complicated design. Just a basic white French tip with glitter. My sister was very nice and patient even though this lady was completely disrespectful and rude. Once we were in the car to leave, my sister realized that the design was STILL wrong even after restating it MULTIPLE times. This is unbelievable. I've come here for a year. Today was the absolute worst. I had an appointment for a gel x removal and a full gel x set. The nail tech was rushing and was rough with my nails and hands. She pinched me twice with her clippers, she drilled to fast and hard and kept nicking my skin. I told her twice to please slow down and let her know she was too rough. I said forget the full set and just do a manicure. She filed my nails, put lotion on my hands for 1 min each and charged me $40 for a "manicure". Horrible experience. I won't be back! I have never had my nails last as long as they do when I go to La Na. On average, my gel x lasts 5-6 weeks, with my longest set lasting 7 weeks!! I've been following La Na Nail Lounge on IG for a while now and have been wanting to try them out after seeing the good reviews, so I've been hyping them up in my mind and to my friends. So we found a day that works for us all and made the hour and a half drive up for a little girls day pampering... We had appointments for 3 people at 2:00pm and weren't seated at pedicure chairs until 2:20, which was inconvenient because we had plans after and this pushed everything behind. Between the three of us we did a Super Special Pedicure, Deluxe Pedicure and Regular Pedicure and I also got a gel manicure. My pedicure wasn't great and the polish job was decent but the bottom of my feet are not soft or look like they did much to them as that's how they looked going into my pedicure, disappointing. Next, I originally wanted a Pearl blue gel color that I saw on their samples and she put the first coat on my one nail and it was translucent/grey - far from baby blue on their example nail. So I asked if she'd do another coat and she replied "if I do another coat, I charge you", to which I replied "why would I be charged for you applying a second coat on my ONE pinky nail" and she repeated her previous statement. So I settled on just solid baby blue gel polish. Throughout the manicure, she kept bending my wrist downward aggressively and telling me "relax your hand", and my hand would have been relaxed had she not kept aggressively pushing it in an unnatural and uncomfortable position. Not to mention the fact that she cut and made three different nails bleed from cutting the cuticle too deep (pictures attached). My one friend's lady cut her toe nail too short and cut cuticle, making her bleed as well. I brought this to the attention of the owner and she said all they could do is compensate 20% on the manicure portion, which is just 10% more than a new customer receives showing their promotional ad found on their website. The poor workmanship and service definitely deserved more than just 20% off their already over priced rates. Overall, for as hyped up as La Na Nails is, for the expensive price and how much we were looking forward to coming here - we all left highly disappointed and won't be returning. The hype is more for the aesthetic of the place and not for the service! ETA SINCE BUSINESS OWNER REPLIED: I never asked for a free service and have two witnesses (your own employee and the customer seated to my right) other than my friends who can attest to this so please don't falsify information and even your nail tech (that worked on my friend with the special special pedicure) who we exchanged information with can confirm this! read more

I requested a simple design that was absolutely botched. Never before have I asked a nail technician to remove polish and give me a plain color instead, but it was so poorly done I had no other option. If you're coming here for the first time I would only recommend getting solid colors and then asking who can specifically do designs and make an appointment with them in the future. They advertise that all the technicians can do designs, but after my most recent visit that is not the case. I always bring a design I am hoping to get done and they always make it look better than the picture I show them. They definitely rush on you if you show up during a busy time. I always book my appointments for the morning when they open at 10 am so I know that I am getting good quality and I am not being rushed through. The vibes are fun here. It is pretty pink inside with some fun floral decorations. This would be a great place to bring some friends for a birthday, girls day, or even bachelorette outing. They offer free drinks while you get your nails done here. You can have a mimosa, a thai iced tea, or some Vietnamese coffee. This nail salon is located right next to Metropolitan Market in Kirkland (where subway used to be) They're still working on their sign, but it's a temporary pink big one. We made an appointment in advance and it was super easy to get a spot. They have regular manicure and gelish. For the regular mani they use OPI and other brands with great quality so it last longer. I absolutely love this place! My nails and the customer service have me OBSESSED. The interior is also cute as heck and they always offer something to drink, so that's a bonus! My first time here I tried the gel x full set because it is supposed to be a lot healthier for your nails. I showed my nail tech (sadly didn't get her name) one picture and she was able to replicate it perfectly - I was IN LOVE! She also didn't hurt me when she did my cuticles, which I was very happy about. However, over the next 24 hours or so I began to realize how much glue there was because it kept getting noticeably dirty. I ended up messaging La Na Nail Lounge on Instagram to ask if we could fix it. They replied very quickly even though it was getting late and were so so nice! They set me up with an appt for the next day! Zoe took care of me this time and when she was trying to fit me for the new set she noticed that my nails slope down, which is why there was so much glue the first time. She nicely informed me that there is no other way for me to get gel x without using that much glue, so she suggested dipping powder instead. It was definitely the right call!! She was able to replicate my original nails and they are much better now without that thick layer of glue! I couldn't be happier with my nails and my experience! I was pretty anxious about having to go back because I felt so bad but Zoe and everyone else treated me so well that they made my worries go away! TL;DR not worth the hype I found this place through instagram ads and have been wanting to try it-specifically for their "jelly pedicure" Made an appointment for 3 pedicures a few days in advanced. When we arrived they were packed (Saturday afternoon, but that's why i made an appointment). We picked out our colors and waited about 15 min. They called two of us back and our third person had to wait until the customer in the seat next to us was done. A little disappointed but the two of us knew we were going to get the longer more in depth treatment and our 3rd person was just getting a basic pedicure, no color. So taking us two early wasn't terrible. We both ordered $75 "The Most Special Pedicure" (organic jelly with fresh orange) which is what we saw advertised on Instagram and looked really cool. While we were waiting for our water bowl to fill they offered us complimentary drinks-choices were: soda, juice, sparkling apple cider, Vietnamese coffee, tea, & a few different kinds of wine/champagne. I asked for iced tea, and just so you know, it's a hot tea bag with ice cubes in it-nothing special. As far as the pedicure... it was not worth the $75. The "jelly" didn't feel like jelly, felt more of like a Cream of Wheat cereal consistency. Maybe if we got to spend more time in it, it might be worth it but I think I barely got 10 minutes in it. Paraffin wax and hot stones are always a pleasure. The orange slices were a pleasant surprise and I was not expecting them to rub it all onto my legs. I was grateful that I didn't have any cuts from shaving because that could have hurt! Our third person got "The Luxury Pedicure" $65. I'm sure this is solely due to the fact of this spa being located in downtown Kirkland, but he gets the same exact pedicure for $35 closer to his home (30 min away).
