2 stars only because the massage was good. I went here to treat myself for my birthday and unfortunately left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Almost immediately after I walked in, an employee followed me over to the polish selection, stared at my stomach, and asked me if I "have baby." No, I'm not pregnant. There was no apology or even acknowledgment that the comment was inappropriate. Instead, she just followed it up by asking if I already have a child. I asked for water 3-4 times before my technician finally brought me a tiny bottle and seemed visibly annoyed that I kept asking. They have a full bar serving cocktails, so asking for water during a $100 service didn't seem unreasonable. The pedicure itself was not relaxing. After having my body commented on, I already felt self-conscious, and the employees were shouting back and forth to each other across the salon throughout the service. She apparently had a timer going because it rang loud AF right next to me at the end. Overall, it was a disappointing way to spend my birthday and absolutely not worth $100. The vibe from the very beginning was unprofessional. The nail tech rushed me to pick a color. She repeatedly kept saying "just pick a color, pick a color" She was completely disengaged with me the entire time and constantly complained in Vietnamese about something that bothered her to several people who kept coming over to her to apparently commiserate. She never once acknowledged me. This pedicure was poorly done, rushed and very disappointing. I wanted to leave before it was done. She put a base coat, 2 color coats and a top coat on in under 70 seconds (I timed it). Then told me to "sit here until it dried", abruptly took her things and left me, then, within seconds, came out from the back with her coat and purse to leave. After several minutes she came to me and told me to go to the front to dry my toes under a fan. She never smiled and was not personable at all. When I refused to tip, the front desk person said " I'll talk to her, we'll make sure you don't have her again". I guess this is acceptable conduct for nail techs in this place. I won't go back. I have a mani/pedi every 5 weeks. I'd rather go to a place where the experience is pleasurable and the staff are professional and polite. This technician was neither of these. read more

My friends and I got 3 manicures and I've never felt more rushed in my life. It almost felt like we were a burden to have there, even though we made a reservation ahead of time. They were also rough on my friend's cuticles to the point she was bleeding pretty bad. Our manicures were okay, but I feel like the attention to detail was lacking. It didn't feel like a welcoming environment, and I was definitely not relaxed. I have been going to this salon for a while. It's been fine, until today, when I was getting a pedicure, and the nail technician sliced the side of my foot. I went to pay for my service and I said I shouldn't have to pay for the pedicure. And I was told I did have to pay for it, because apparently, I moved, and that's why I got cut. I didn't move. I've had many pedicures in my life, and a lot of them at this salon over the last few years. I never moved for any of those, but I guess this time, the pedicure that was a birthday present to myself, I just decided to move. She acted like I chose to get the side of my big toe sliced. But all I wanted to do at that point was go home, so I chose not to argue about it. I was told next time I wouldn't have that nail technician and I said there won't be a next time. I will not be returning to this salon. Even after the woman who handles payment and appointments made a horrible comment to me about shaving my sideburns (I'm Indian, so...I really have no control over that), I still continued to go to this salon. Not anymore. Be careful here. They don't care about their customers. If they did, they would've tried to make it right, but instead, they blamed it on me. Additionally, the nail technician got oil on the inside of my jeans. I was watching her when did the oil massage. She wasn't even looking at my foot/calf when she was doing it. I obviously keep coming back to this nail spa for a reason: the cleanliness, good service, and the fact that you can almost always be seen immediately. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations preferred. Plenty of parking in Totem Lake, either infront of the spa or don't forget there's lots of parking near the cinema (entrance near Chase Bank). I've never tried dip or acrylic here so I can't really speak to that. My go-to is a regular mani pedi or gel mani pedi. Their "signature pedi" is definitely worth it. They get right in there and do a good clean. You'll feel so good afterwards, trust me. If you've got the time, I suggest you top it off with a hot wax treatment. That'll leave the soles of your feet so smooth!! (Much needed after a long winter). I love that you typically get asked if you would like to drink anything while getting the service :) it just makes the experience more enjoyable! Tea or wine, my friends, tea or wine. It's always wine-o-clock somewhere. I had Chanel today and she was lovely. My nails were in an awful shape. Despite them being short and brittle, they look way better now than when I got in. I read some previous reviews on Yelp and some people were sharing that staff members had been rude. I've experienced that before on more than one occasion unfortunately (not sure why, maybe someone was having a bad day?) ‍BUT it hasn't stopped me from coming back because I appreciate the quality service. read more

Went here on 12/26/25 for my first ever pedicure. I had the signature plus service and felt very, very judged as a man going into this space. I was hoping for an experience where I could kick back and relax while my girlfriend got her pedicure. but I never felt truly at peace. The majority of my service was fine and the foot massage portion was nice, but at one point the lady helping me cut too deep into the cuticles on BOTH of my big toes, causing a sharp pain and some bleeding. There was no apology or anything, just my service coming to a quick end. Over 24 hours later and both of these cuts still sting and hurt, especially when wearing socks or shoes. As much as I wanted to enjoy the pedicure and spa treatment, I simply did not and I could never see myself or my girlfriend coming back here because of this. read more

Trish did my gel-hybrid manicure and I had a great experience overall. However, I want to note that this manicure only lasted four days and completely peeled off. Trish stated that they should last around two weeks if you take care of them. I personally don't think the quality was provided with nail prep to ensure long lasting nails. A few of the nail tips were larger than my finger nails shape and started poking into my skin. I left the salon with hard gel around my cuticles and my skin that was difficult to remove. read more

I received a chrome manicure on Sunday September 21st within 24 hours of my nails being done they began to chip (photos below.) During my original manicure on Sunday two different nail techs worked on my nails (one of which was the front desk attendant that kept coming back and forth between doing my nails and taking appointments.) I found that odd and unprofessional. On Tuesday 9/23 I called and spoke to someone who said I could come back and get my nails redone free of charge. I went in the next day 9/24 (on my lunch break) and after 30 minutes of having 2 different people (one was the original nail tech/receptionist) work on my nails they had to restart the process again. The nail tech put a solution on my nails to remove the original base coat, and my nail bed began to sting and burn. I asked that they stop, that I did not have any more time to spend there and that I just would like a refund. They told me that they are unable to give a refund. I then asked to speak to the manager three different times. They lady at the front desk was not forthcoming in giving me the information. Finally, she mumbled a name "Ling". When I got home, I called and asked for Ling, and she offered that I come back a third time for a gel manicure? I asked and paid for a chrome manicure. Apparently, no one knows how to do that. If that is in fact that case the salon should not offer chrome manicure as an option. Lastly, I reached out via email to the corporate office days ago and never received a response back. This was probably the worst nail experience ever. The staff was not very professional. Will not be going back ever. LD read more

I love coming to this salon - it's clean and the people are friendly and talented. Kelly is absolutely amazing and every time she does my nails, I always get compliments. I had been looking for a nail salon that can do gorgeous nail art for a long time. Kelly is super creative and her designs are always gorgeous. Quite literally thee worst manicure I have ever received. I moved to the area and I'm constantly in totem lake for the cute shops, so I wanted to give this cute salon a try. I saw the poor reviews, but I noticed most of them were a long time ago, so I decided to try it out for myself anyway, that was my first mistake. They handed me the color books to pick out my color, I found an opi polish off of the wall, and asked if they could just find the gel match, they told me no and I HAD to pick from the books. Fine, no problem. I'm browsing through the books, and a woman walked in and greeted her nail stylist, the stylist walked up to me and snatched the books out of my hand to give to her client. So I said forget it, I'll just stick to something simple and told them I wanted 'bubble bath'. They went to remove my gel x nails, they didn't remove them at all, they actually just shaved my nails down to oblivion, and painted over any remaining gel that was still on my nails. I told them to take it off, a really sweet lady took them off, and she took everything off properly. The manager tried to tell me that this was normal after removing gel x. Which just isn't true. Actually tried to charge me full price for my manicure, which I thought was just the cherry on top. Please save yourself the trouble.. do not go here. read more

I'm going to update my review. I've gone back enough times now that they probably deserve it. One thing about this place - your tech absolutely matters when it comes to nails. There are great techs that I try to request by name, based on what I'm getting done. Hannah is great for designs and suggestions. She did my NYE nails and I couldn't decide what I wanted. She suggested an ombré sparkle, and I absolutely love how they turned out. For pedicures, it doesn't really matter who does it. I don't do gel or anything fancy on my toes, so if you do that might be different. I wish they had more colors in the chrome finish besides unicorn. I had wanted a red with red chrome design, but they only had unicorn. Still turned out well (besides the tech not matching my nail length - my left hand now has shorter nails). For dip, this is my go to spot. read more

I'm honestly so disappointed with my experience here. It was $100 for a full set of acrylics, and they started falling off in less than a week. I was super careful with them, but I could tell during the appointment that the prep wasn't done correctly. This felt like throwing $100 down the drain. What bothered me the most was that when we called to let them know, they didn't take any responsibility. They actually tried to tell me it was my fault for washing my hair at home, which makes no sense. I've had acrylics many times before and followed the same routine without any issues. I went here with my girlfriends for a pedicure. The place looks swanky from the outside but is very dirty from the inside. Once you get to the chairs is when the true colors show up. The chairs were dirty, my chair rocked, I thought it would topple over. They upsold a ton of services and even though I got their "Winter Wonderland" package along with my other friends, they got a honey massage and a scrub with orange peels while I didn't. When I was close to being done, I asked why I didn't get those services, she said the order of the steps doesn't matter and proceeded to give me a honey foot massage with the orange peels as the last step and wiped down with a single damp towel. Needless to say my legs were sticky for the rest of the night. The hot stones they used were incredibly hot, the neighboring service provider spilled honey on my suede shoes and didn't even apologize. My nails have sharp edges, I have gel nail polish on my skin. AWFUL doesn't even begin to cover my experience. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. Please AVOID!! read more

When this place opened it was 5 star hands down! However over the years the service and quality has completely went down. I came in here for a manicure the reception lady was very friendly however when my nail tech came she was not friendly at all. She told me I should do dip instead of gel and when I refused she got annoyed and rushed through my nails. It was so rushed that mistakes were made and I even left the salon and came back 5 mins later to tell her that I was not satisfied with my nails. She fixed them but I still left a very unhappy customer. I used to love this salon but I won't be returning any time soon. Getting a poor nail job right before the holidays is not ideal. read more

I went in with some friends to get our nails done for her bridesmaids outing. We were a little surprised with the quality of service and finished product for some of us. The interior was fancy and quite beautiful, and the bathroom was pretty clean. The woman who worked with me was fine, but was slightly careless with doing my nails (I got a regular mani). It almost seemed like she was in a rush. Maybe she was needing to get to the next customer, but still! After she finished, she told me I could dry my nails by the fan that was under the counter. The fan was broken, and another worker had to help me find another fan that worked. My salonist also got some nail polish on the skin surrounding my nail on my index finger. I didn't notice it until a friend of mine saw it after we had left. It was only a little bit, but considering how nice the place was, and the price, I had expected more of a polished and excellent work. Some of the painting was a bit on the uneven side - again, you could only tell if you were staring at it. Other than that, the workers there were pretty accommodating in terms of working with our bridesmaids outing. They helped us open our champagne bottles, and allowed us to put our plastic cups next to us as we got our nails done. The people at the counter were nice.
