She is very talented at eyebrow shaping and clearly knows what she's doing. I've been to her twice, and she emphasizes coming back about every 2-3 weeks to continue working on the shape. After shaping, she uses eyebrow shadow to fill in areas where she feels more hair should grow, which gives you a sense of the look she's working toward. A couple of things to know before going: she only accepts cash (first time I didn't know and she let me Zelle her but emphasized cash for the future) and it was about 25 dollars for eyebrow threading. I did feel pressured to leave a review after I told her I appreciated her work, which made me a little uncomfortable. Overall, she is skilled at what she does, but I would have preferred for the review process to be less solicited and for other options to pay aside from cash. read more

I came to Nafees to shape my eyebrows and have an upper lip wax done. If you're hesitant on booking with her, don't be. Just do it! She's a miracle worker, my eyebrows have been plucked and waxed since I was 14 years old and they have parts that don't even grow hair anymore. I've accepted my fate I won't have full looking eyebrows. Nafees proved me wrong and she went above and beyond to give me a more than satisfied result. She is so friendly and it was very easy to relax around her. She started by consulting with me first about what I wanted, and from there she gave her professional opinion on what she believed would work best to achieve the results that were realistic and achieveable. She also gave helpful tips and tricks to encourage hair growth and skin care. Originally I came in for an eyebrow wax (which is what I've always done in the past) and she gave me valid and genuine reasons as to why eyebrows threading is better to do than wax. I listened to her and I'm so glad I did. My eyebrows shape looks better than it ever did. I must give an updated review because truly Nafees is the one and only person that has been doing my eyebrows since early 2017. This women doesn't just do eyebrows or body hair removal. She literally is an artist. She is a bit on the pricier side compared to places u see on the side of the road advertising $6 threading. While learning g these places truly are a germ carrying infested places. You don't know some of these places are handling money them touching the thread that's touching your face and then their touching who knows what while touching your face repeatedly. These right here are all red flags of possible skin rash, acne breakouts, and who knows what else depending on the service you are getting at some places. Women who do Brazilians and think they are going to a place cause it's in a trendy area and really they are using the same wooden stick in the wax over and sticking it back in the wax for the next private area. Absolutely so not only unhygienic but straight gross. Nafees seriously cares. She doesn't cut corners, she uses new everything for every single customer. Her salon is a very nice very cozy clean shop. Seriously, she cares. She explains not to just me but every one that comes to see her what she is going to do so you know. For me personally my hair doesn't grow fast and plus I have tremendous eyebrows all thanks to her. When I lived in Houston these shops would just pluck pluck pluck and ruined the legit thickness of my beautiful rare shaped brows. Nafees literally just does a wonderful elegant job. I also usually go about a month and 2 weeks to 2 months before each visit because I don't really have to have them done every other week like some women and the longer I let them grow each time the more thick beautiful shape every time.. I literally won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows or my lip for threading except Nafees. She also sees men but her rates are very fair for the art , the cleanliness and she cares!! read more
