After seeing La Nansa in the Michelin guide as recommended I couldn't wait to eat here. they serve typical Catalan dishes in a casual atmosphere. The dining room has a nautical like theme. The service was great and they were extremely great with our 2 young children. Prices are very reasonable. The hours are on Spain time and the place doesn't even open until most of us from other countries have already finished eating, not unusual in Spain. The food was very hit or miss. The two great dishes were stewed squid and onions and meat pie. The squid and onions was sweet, oceanic and serves in a thick seafood like gravy. Not pretty to look at but very tasty. The meat pie was very interesting. It was a chilled, mousse like meat served with hazelnut cream and caviar. It was fantastic. Sweet, meaty, creamy yet a bit grainy. The gazpacho was good albeit unoriginal. The paella was not good, it was served very soupy, the rice too el dente and flavor was nonexistent, the seafood inside was cooked into oblivion and very dry. My mom ordered a fish dish that was absolutely flavorless. Devoid of any salt whatsoever. Hard to recommend this restaurant, I think it would be easy to find a better meal in Sitges with the variety of options in the area. read more
