Banana bread with blueberries

I have celiac and have tried dozens of all gluten free bakeries and restaurants around the world. This was my favorite. The food is fresh and nourishing, the baked goods are epic (highly recommend the banana bread with blueberries), and the vibe is super cute. I will definitely be back!

First of all, can I just start off by saying that this place is absolute FIRE!! Never have I been in a Gluten-Free bakery of this caliber in my life! So cute, delicious, pretty much everything about this shop is perfect. Located right across the street from El Palacio De Hierro, this place was just a couple of blocks away from where I was staying during my visit in Mexico City. K had actually found this place while we were researching all the best gluten free eateries available in town and La Otilia by far had the best options. When you first walk up into the establishment you can see a couple outdoor patio tables perfect if you're in the mood for something a bit more 'al fresco'. The inside is very Pinterest-y -- cute home & kitchen tables with antique Edison style filament bulbs. The front door is kept wide open to let the cool air in. There are two customer facing fridges available displaying all the gluten free treats available for purchase. One fridge has tons of pies and cupcakes and the other fridge has tons of cookies and other treats that look like possible scones. The staff is just as friendly and the vibe this place gives off. For the most part it is self-seating, we sat ourselves in the patio and this very friendly waitress met us. I cannot remember her name, but she was awesome! If you check in on Yelp right now you get a free Italian Soda with your check-in. Make sure you let them know ahead of time. I had the hibiscus Italian Soda and it was bomb. Very refreshing. One of those drinks you can sip slowly and last throughout your meal. My favorite part was the croissant. OH MY GAH!! This shit was amazing, out of this world, best I ever had! Loaded with slices of turkey breast and melted Manchego Cheese. So good I highly recommend it. My only complain would be that I wish the dish was bigger because I wanted another. LOL K also ordered a side cheesecake with some sort of purple jam on top and he says it was delicious. We plan to come more often if we ever find ourself back in Mexico City. If only they had something like this in Houston.

Stop by here for some sweets after eating at Contramar. I tried their matcha with pistachio cake. It was good but very heavy. I did not finish the rest but ended up taking it back to the Airbnb stay. The space is cute, you can sit down and work on your laptop if you want. Great service.

Brought my son here to enjoy a meal and dessert. He loved it. We had a hawaiana pizza and blueberry French toast plus a matcha muffin and cinnamon roll. It was all very tasty. It is very expensive compared to the rest of Mexico but as a little treat it's worth it.

I am not big into Gluten free places. I am big into this place. It taste different in a very good way. I had Molletes, heart shaped cookies and a latte. Would recommend you try it at least as your desert if you find yourself in Mercadoroma.

My favorite gluten/dairy free bakery in Mexico City!! The food is delicious and you can be assured that all your food is safe to eat if you have any dairy or gluten intolerances!! They also offer a great selection of breakfast meals, coffee, green matcha latte, bowls and so many smoothies! This place is my go to
