So finding the sister restuant in Bonne Terre much closer to Farmington, Mo. So we went up to see how it would measure up to the same group in Bonne Terre. La Pachangas is God's gift to Bonne Terre. I wish I were exaggerating but I'm absolutely not. Most of my family's pivotal celebration dinners are there because the food is good, the drinks are strong, and the staff are hospitable and treat you well. They've been renovating inside and while I miss the OG La Pachangas, the new interior is gorgeous as it comes along and there's a perfectly sized booth just for our family that we take advantage of often! It's amazing. I love this place. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially their choripollo! read more

Very Very Rude. Explained to me that people in this area don't order vegetarian and the manager got mad and offended when I asked. I was very kind, that is not ok. Please leave the small town if you don't want to evolve with it and offer that as an option to the community. The other Mexican restaurant is very delicious, and kind. read more

La Pachangas is my new go-to Mexican restaurant. It is probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. My favorite is the Shrimp Fajitas, as shown in the picture. It comes out sizzling and fresh. Everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned, the flavor is phenomenal. Aside from this dish in the photo, you get another dish with rice, lettuce, refried beans, cheese, and sour scream to add to the fajitas. They give you the 3 tortillas separately so you can make your fajitas just how you like them. The staff is also amazing, with every staff member we've met being so kind and attentive. One star is too high. This place is an insult to Mexico. Ok. So, I went in to order a CARNE ASADA quesadilla. One of the most common Mexican dishes next to tacos. The guy at the front had no idea what i was talking about. (Red Flag #1). Extra meat & extra cheese. He then also had an issue comprehending what that meant. (Red Flag #2) He said we have a steak quesadilla. (Red Flag #3) So I'm like "perfect Brian". $17 later I get the smallest tortilla ever used to make a quesadilla with. AND the cheese wasn't melted. The guy was like, "Oh you wanted it melted?!" (Red Flag#3) Are you frikkin kidding me....-_- At this point I should've asked for my money back... Then when I'm assuming the owner came out she handed me my "food" and said "next time ask for something," I don't even know what she said. When I open it up this time, it's CLEARLY been microwaved.... Are you serious??? I literally have a headache after eating that. The only reason I just sat their & took it was cause I hadn't ate all day and was starving. If you want quality Mexican food; don't go here. They suck! read more

No idea why other people gave this 4 stars. Mediocre at best. The salsa was just ok. The chips were hot but not light and crisp. The combination I ordered said "1 burrito, 1 enchilada and 1 taco". No rice or beans came with it. The taco had cheese but the burrito and enchilada had none. It was just a bunch of ground beef wrapped in a corn and flour tortilla drowned in reddish brown sauce. They both tasted the same. The service was good but not great. read more

Great Service! Our server was very attentive and filled our drinks frequently. The place was clean inside and out and there was no smell of smoke. The server brought out chips and plain salsa. The side of cheese dip that we ordered was fresh and tasty; as was the cheese dip with chorizo. When I saw chili con queso, I thought of the Americanized version with beef. I didn't see the name "Chorizo" until my husband pointed it out as sausage. The taste was unexpected for me. But, it was very good. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and my husband ordered the beef chimichanga. (He ended up with the steak version which tasted great.) Everything was fresh. (lettuce, tomatoes, beans, rice, etc.) I would definitely eat here again. read more
