Delicious Carne Asada Fries! And the tacos are good too. I really enjoyed their Carne Asada Fries. It was a very large order of fries on a plate loaded with steak, queso, jalapeños, sour cream, and pico. It's definitely enough for 2 people to share. Delicious! I also tried a fish taco Guadalajara style. The corn tortilla was tasty and the fish was perfectly fried. The lady who took my order was super friendly and really helpful. After you order and pay at the register, they give you a buzzer. When the buzzer buzzes, your food is fresh, hot, and ready. I recommend Rico's Tacos for lunch or for a casual dinner.

Very cute tacos shop with bright colors and an airy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and nice. The tacos are made to order, and overall pretty good but they lacked seasoning on the birria and the al pastor taco. But overall, pretty good, just not outstanding and there is better out there.

Tacos: chicken dressed Guadalajara style and birria dressed supreme style.

Friendly staff and a bright, fun atmosphere invited us in to this casual eatery. Not too far off the highway, this is a good place to go as you pass by those chain restaurants. Tacos were recommended, and mine were good. Chicken was dry but the salsas and sauces helped and are delicious. The birria was better, and I would order it again.

First time experiencing Rico's after dark and it was amazing! Food hit the spot after a girls night out! CJ was super friendly and helpful with ordering, gave us great recommendations! Definitely will be back!

    All of em !!! :D

Really good taco. Choices of many different meats and other items to put on the taco. I will come back here when I am in Valdosta.

During my visit, I placed an order before another couple who arrived after me. While waiting, I observed that the later-arriving couple received their food before me. From my perspective, there was no obvious explanation for the difference in service, such as a different menu item or an expedited option that was communicated to customers. What made the situation particularly noticeable was that the employees appeared to interact with the other couple primarily in Spanish, resulting in a more personalized and attentive experience. Whether intentional or not, it created the perception that customers with whom employees shared a common language or cultural familiarity were receiving preferential treatment. In any customer-facing business, perception matters just as much as intent. Restaurants succeed when every customer believes they are treated with the same level of respect, attentiveness, and fairness. If there are legitimate reasons why orders are prepared or served out of sequence, those reasons should be transparent and consistently applied. Otherwise, customers are left to conclude that different standards are being used. I might return because the food was enjoyable, but I hope management evaluates its service practices to ensure that every guest receives an equally attentive and equitable experience, regardless of the language they speak or their background.

In Valdosta, GA...it can be hard to find food spots for tacos. This place is very unassuming,…read moreaffordable and overall decent. At $2 a taco, it's not bad. I've paid more for worse in other places across the south. By far, my favorite has been the al pastor. I'm just not convinced with the tortillas and the salsas. I feel like a better corn tortilla would really make the taco worth the $2. Be advised, they will not give you water with your meal. If you want water, you have to buy a bottle of water. Silverware is also self service because to the soft drink machine. If you ask for anything, you'll be pointed to where you can get it yourself. All in all...I'm sure I'll keep coming back as long as we're in south Georgia.

This place is in the back side of a store. It's very open and colorful. It looks as if it may feature a buffet, but there wasn't one today. The table gets complimentary corn chips and salsa. We decided to order a variety of items such as tacos, sopes, and a burrito. It was all asada for us today. Unfortunately, all of our asada dishes had a lot of fat/grissle. I wouldn't mention it if it were a piece, but it was a fair amount. My dish, considering it was a large burrito, didn't seem to have much meat, either. It was also an open burrito where the edges weren't folded in so that got a little messy. Overall, the flavors in the dishes were nice, but there were a couple iffy things. I'd give it a 3.5 but considering the prices, cleanliness, and flavors I will bump it to 4.

I was so surprised to see that Baxley has the REAL DEAL Mexican food. It is located behind the CVS…read moreacross from their drive thru. I lived on the Valley (South Texas) border for serval years and would visit Northern Mexico often to eat and shop. I haven't had this type of food in years other than in places like Atlanta and D.C. I have never had a Sope in the states like I had here. I have had similar Central American sopes in the U.S. but they are a little different than Mexican sopes I am used to. The Pastor is incredibly delicious. Full of porky, pineappley, annatto spiced flavor. The lengua, asada, carnitas, and borrego (lamb) are fantastic as well (I only wish they had cabrito but the borrego was good enough). They are served many different fashions including with the authentic and traditional "silver dollar" corn tortilla tacos. The rice and beans are of the same quality. The Aguas Frescas like Horchata and Melon are rich and full of natural flavors. They do serve menudo and have a great priced lunch buffet I have not tried yet. The service is good, Spanish helps but you can navigate the experience well enough. The attached store is full of everything you need for your Mexican home cooking spice needs and candies like spicy mango lollies, Rosa Mazapan, and many others are available at cheap prices. If you are missing the real deal Mexican experience like I was you will not be disappointed. No gringo counterfeiters here. This place will take you home. If you don't know what real Mexican food is give it a try. Some things will be familiar, mostly in name, but this is NOT American style Mexican food.
