Dollar General came to mind, but I remembered Trader Joe's has bagel seasoning. I knew Aldi and Trader Joe's are owned by same holding company. I googled and we were 1.8 miles away. Spouse is bitching about traffic and picking up items. I run in and there are 3 varieties of bagel seasoning: plain, Jalapeño and Asiago cheese. She chose plain. The cost was cheap at $1.95. The dish soap was nearby at an end cap. I knew they probably weren't gonna pay me so I picked generic Tandil brand for $1.69 over Dawn for $4.95. The store is huge but I didn't have much time to browse. I had my own plastic bag in my jacket from dog walking. The checkouts were around 8 or so and had a huge long bagging table. I'll probably stop again when not in a hurry.

So I used to work here about a year ago, and it was one of the worst jobs that I worked at. Not…read morebecause of the job itself, but because of the people who were working there. The boss at the time (mike) was an unfair and disloyal boss. Mike was laying to my coworker about how much she was getting paied hourly. Mike also gave people who had tattoos/piercings or wasn't white, not the same respect as the other employees. When everyone quit, but me and one person, I asked for a raise and all they wanted to give me was 25 cents more. If you plan on working here, realize you wont be getting paied well, or raises at all, they will give you more work and responsibilities, but refuse to pay you for what your worth. The food handling could be way better as well, the way they handle their chicken is honestly disgusting. One time there was a spider in the batch of chicken and I asked what to do about it, and the deli manager told me to fry it up anyways. The deli manager also seemed to really bully her employees, making the coworkers cry form time to time,and no one would do anything about it. Dont ever show up late without calling too, otherwise they will call welfare on you. The atmosphere of that place always kept me on edge and the bullying made me not wanna go into work, because the deli manger. She will make you feel horrible for the small things you mess up on and talk behind your back about it with all the other employees. Her fake nice seems so real tho. The only decent people I honestly saw and had conversations with at spicers teals makert , was with the meat department. Those guys were the best.
