My husband made a Georgia mud fudge copy cat (they added sprinkles for some reason) but it's basically brownie, nuts, and fudge with vanilla ice cream. My nieces got a caramel shake & small twisted cone while I got an Oreo twister. They all LOOKED like kid sizes but we ended up finishing all of our treats and being STUFFED. Keep in mind they only serve soft serve so don't expect any scoops or homemade ice cream. They do have Italian ice which is a really great treat! We were informed the flavor changes every couple weeks so come back another time if you don't like the current one on rotation!

Very disappointed. Only 5 small chunks of shrimp. It also has a sort of poblano verde sauce or maybe a poblano Maque Choux without the corn. Lots of celery. And the small amount of rice. I didn't eat much of it, after the shrimp was gone it was just bad sauce. A wasted $21. The cornbread was nice with honey butter. We split the bread pudding for dinner and it is excellent - DON'T MISS IT! Service was excellent. Especially the bus boy / water refiller. P.S. They don't do anything for anniversaries. The dessert was also a bit of a disappointment unfortunately, we tried the bread pudding but it came out lukewarm at best. The cast iron it was served in was cold, which was surprising, why not just heat it in that? The drinks were alright. Our service that particular night was pretty bad too-- our waitress was quick to take our order and the food came out pretty quick, but it took a long time for her to come back, and then another 10 minutes to get us a dessert menu. She was running all over the place so I think was busy, but I could tell she forgot about us and I wished she had atleast acknowledged it and apologized. Hopefully just a one-off. If you aren't familiar with them, they're a cross between a hybrid Casey's-like convenience store and a grocery store. Not only do they sell gas, but they also sell fresh meats, grocery basics such as bananas, milk and eggs at a very competitive price, loads of fresh bakery items made on-site, hot convenience foods, lots of coffee options, and more. I stopped in here twice this past week and was very, very impressed with the quality of customer-friendly service. The cashier honored some coupons that weren't yet on. I walked out of there with about $10 in groceries that I probably paid $4 for, after using all the grand opening coupons. The store is nice, it's clean, the employees are friendly. I'll definitely be stopping back into this location and the others that will be opening soon in town. It's nice to have options in your convenience stores. With this addition to St. Joseph, the town now has a Super America, Casey's, Holiday, and Kwik Trip all within less than a mile of each other.
