Ordered a bike from this store - the Ozark Trail G.1 Explorer. This is being hailed online and on Youtube as the best budget bike of the season, so I looked online and this was the only Metro store that had one in stock anywhere (I'm coming from St. Cloud) so I ordered online for curbside pickup. Upon arriving I was kind of surprised I was getting an assembled bike (a floor model) rather than a new bike in a box. Knowing how hard it is to find one in stock, I went ahead and accepted it. It's been kind of a piece of garbage. Whomever assembled it did just a terrible job. The front brakes don't work AT ALL. The rear brakes barely touch and only serve to slightly slow you down on a flat street. You can't actually come to a stop without putting your feet down. And the shifting is rough and is off somehow, you can't use all the gears. I'd take it back but no one else has one in stock. There's nothing for me to swap it for. I'm going to have to take it to a proper bike shop to have it correctly rebuilt. Very, very disappointed. read more

I was recently at the Monticello, Mn Walmart. I had purchased a grill/smoker. It was 80+lbs in a box. A gentleman assisted me get in getting the box down,put it on a cart & put it in the back of my truck. I've had back surgery recently & could not be much of help. i enjoy going to walmart and saving money! my favorite items are sweet corn and watermelons and ice cream. everyday prices beat out cub foods. had a bad watermelon that i didnt inspect before buying and i got a replacement and a refund on it! read more

Cleaner than many Walmart stores I've been to, and less busy than some others closer to the Cities. Most of the employees seem kind and ready to help, however the checkout lanes are never staffed enough. Self checkout is always faster, even when I have a full cart. My daughter loves people watching there! read more

I was randomly driving through the area to discover the countryside and I saw this Walmart. First there was no police car outside! This is usually a good sign. The parking was wide busy and no homeless cars. It was close to the main roads and half a mile from major highway. When I entered the store I was surprised how clean it was. It was wide shelves were spaced correctly not overstacked, plenty of new items. I was happy to find plenty of puzzle for kids three years old which I struggle to find usually in any store periods it was priced right. See the pictures. The self check out was smooth and there was a lady supervising which is nice. Just now going to give them a rating I was surprised at this Walmart has 4.5 stars by three people before me: It's a record breaking for a Walmart at least from my perspective. However it won't surprise me because the items they had here what really good and some of them and you to me and the spacing between shelves gives us the opportunity to see better and to choose better. Took twenty minutes just to get to the service. There was only one person ahead of me. Only one service person at customer service. IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN SOMETHING HERE: plan to wait an hour. Auto Center On a long road trip and needed an oil change. The Walmart person in charge around noon on April 14th was kind, cheerful and knew her job. There was no shortage of customers but she got things done. She got my vehicle back to me quickly. read more

Customer service is awful!! When they actually have cashier's they don't seem to care. There was a hole is one of our products powder was flying and she stuck it in the bag and kept ringing I had to ask her to stop and I pulled out to check if there was a hole and when I found it I asked her if she could get someone to grab me a new one and she said no they didn't have enough people to run and grab me one. This is the first time in forever that this Walmart had so many employees available or at least I saw quite a few people (over a dozen) walking around in Walmart vest. Then walk out and there about 5-6 young kids with Walmart vest on playing around with carts by the cart entrance and if they are doing there job or taking a break more power to them. It is more that the cashier did not even attempt to call or ask someone and normally I don't mind going and grabbing it myself but I was unable to do it today. This is a long review just to say Walmart just doesn't work on customer service and I am just going to start going to Target and paid the extra to get better customer service. read more

I have lived near this store 3 years spent $2000 + a month here and still cannot get treated like a valued customer! What a joke! I went to do a simple return stood at the customer service desk for 45 mins and the only thing the asst store manager Peggy and shift supervisor Justin VanderSluis did was harass me about why they wouldn't return 18 months infant clothing! They then accused me of buying the item from a different store! And finally accused me of maybe not paying for them! My family household consists of $130,000 yearly income! The last shopping trip I will be taking to any WALMART! read more
