This is the first daycare we looked into because it's been around since my husband and I were children growing up in the neighborhood. We're incredibly grateful we toured, as Ms. Petra and Ms. Pamela were very welcoming and informative in letting us know what their programs offer as well as what to expect with this being the first time our son would be without us. They were very transparent about rates/policies and gave us a bunch of info to take home and review. They offer a free trial day where you can bring your child for a few hours to see if it's the right fit before officially enrolling them. We decided it would be a good place to try and the schedule we chose was within our budget. It took a few weeks for him to acclimate, but now he's excited to go to school and actively participates in group activities. We can absolutely tell that he enjoys his class & teachers, as he's been coming out of his shell. Everyone is very friendly and the facility in general is very clean and organized. The teachers keep you updated on your child throughout the day (what they ate/diaper checks/activities) via an app and you also have camera access to your child's classroom in case you want to check in. Each class is separated by age groups and the student to teacher(s) ratio is very reasonable. My son's classroom has circle time, several developmental areas (music/pretend play/building blocks/math/art/language & literacy/independent play), access to an outdoor play area/splash & water play area/gardening area, and healthy meals made fresh every day. The directors and front desk ladies are very friendly & communicative. They're great at keeping parents updated on upcoming classes your child can participate in (like dance/yoga), anything to be aware of at the school (policy reminders, class registration deadlines, illness prevention protocol reminders, etc.), reminders of upcoming fun activities to be prepared for like Splash Day/Picnic Lunch Day/holiday activities, etc. Overall our experience with La Petite in Sugar Land has been wonderful. You can tell that the teachers genuinely care about the kids and parents can feel at ease knowing their children are in great hands. It's been a joy to watch our son come home doing new things he's learned at school. He's becoming more social and has even started progressing in his speech since starting here. The activities are age appropriate and geared towards development; and fun for the kids! The facility is clean and well kept-I have never smelled anything other than food (which my son loves) or cleaning products. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities and programming for parents (which I intended to take advantage of but my schedule just didn't allow). Parental well being is encouraged by parent's night out where the staff graciously extend their day and allow us to be able to have kid free time to use as we please. Each day we are greeted by staff, and I have not had one negative encounter. Everyone is always positive and kind to myself and my son. I have seen him progress and grow in our short time here, and for that I am thankful. Security and safety are a priority, with codes and diligent staff who monitor incoming and outgoing persons. I love that I am able to check in on my son via the camera system, and also receive updates regularly during the day via the app from teachers. I can truly say that this is one of the best day care experiences I have had. Being a first time parent comes with a lot of uncertainty and all of the staff at this location have made me feel secure and go about my work days with ease knowing that my toddler is in good hands. Not sitting on a patio sipping mimosas with my girlfriends (sigh)! Gymboree Play and Music is a great second choice though, and my daughter's first choice for air conditioned climbing fun. She looks forward to each Saturday class with Ms. Taylor for fun, age appropriate games and activities, friends, catchy songs (my husband and I have been singing the 'sitting in my high chair' song all day) bubbles, and of course the indoor playground equipment. She has a blast each time we go, and we love the atmosphere and loosely-structured play environment. While it's encouraged for your kids to follow along with the group activities, if your little one just wants to roll a ball one day, or go up and down the slide, no worries! You be you, little one. Be sure to bring socks for all adults, because if you forget you have to buy a pair for $10 at the front. Kiddos go barefoot to prevent slippage, but do wear play clothes suitable for active play (leave the baby suits and dresses at home and opt for a comfy onesie!). The way Gymboree operates is with a monthly membership that gives you one or more class a week, plus unlimited visits during open gym hours. They have different types of classes available, so depending on what you and your kiddo want for structured play you can choose the appropriate class. We opted for the Play and Learn 3 class after attending the Play and Learn family class we did for our free preview. The family class is for all ages 0-5, and is geared towards families with multiple children attending. It was fun, but we decided the age-appropriate class made the most sense for us. As an FYI- more Hina one adult can attend with your child at once. We attend on Saturday and most of the kids have both parents in attendance, and it's a fun way to meet other parents in the area. Now if only we could incorporate mimosa into Gymboree play, that would be the best of both worlds.

As a first-time mom, enrolling my 3-month-old son at KinderCare was a big decision. Initially, I felt reassured and supported, especially by Ms. Brittany and Ms. Shanisha. They were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my son's well-being. Anytime concerns arose, they addressed them quickly and professionally. I honestly felt my son was in good hands at first. But things changed. My son's father once witnessed a teacher being rough with him at just 10 months old. We were told it was handled, but it shook our trust. Later, my son came home with a bruise on his face after a vague "incident" that was never clearly explained. I tried to meet with the director, Ms. Martha, and she canceled without following up. No accountability, no real care. I eventually withdrew my son, and no one from leadership even asked why. There are NO CAMERAS (even though we request), no strong curriculum, and it's VERY expensive for the lack of oversight. I'm only giving 2.5 stars because of Ms.Judi, Ms. Brittany and Ms. Shanisha they truly cared. Without them, this place isn't somewhere I'd recommend or trust again.

The kids do educational activities and have crafts that come home almost every day. They keep the kids busy and minds engaged. My son has loved being in Ms Bessy's classroom and talks about her and his classmates when away from school. He's excited every morning to attend and I love that the teachers use gentle words and redirection for discipline. This is the best place. Note! The school is not affiliated with the church they're in. They just rent the space. They do a Christian based curriculum and tell them about God. My son came home singing cute Sunday school songs. They have a great relationship with the kids, and encourage them to love one another and treat each person with kindness and respect. We truly are so blessed to have found SproutStart and would recommend them to any family or friend. I'm a single mom and I cannot say how important it was for me to find a safe haven for him while I worked. This was it for us and I hope you will give them a shot. They've exceeded every expectation I had.
