My youngest son attended 5 Star from 4 months-18 months and I have nothing but great things to say…read moreabout this school. We only left because his older sibling attends a different school/convenience. I am picky about school providers and 5 Star never ever gave me any reason to be worried. My son has a severe egg allergy and the staff always made sure to take his allergy into consideration and would call/follow up with me on everything to ensure my child was safe at the school. They absolutely take the extra measure to make everyone feel welcome and the staff is so incredibly professional and family oriented. We were also enrolled during the chaotic Covid times of 2020-2021 and the staff took extra measures to maintain a high level of cleanliness to provide a safe environment that I felt comfortable leaving my child each day. You will not regret this school! There is a reason there are wait lists here! I have had my children attend other schools before and I would feel like those schools were just daycares with babysitters. 5 Star is NOT like that at all. They are organized and the teachers are so professional!

Most abusive and racist daycare on earth. In one instance they suffocated my child to near death…read morebecause of refusal to take a nap! They deleted all the recordings and swept it under the rug to make the incident untraceable. On a second occasion they sent my child with black eyes and pretended it was accident and refused to share the details of what happened. Our child told who did this, but we accepted the school BS because we thought they are ethical and there's no way for lack of dishonesty. The breaking point happened when they sent an email asking us to not bring our child to the daycare anymore because of shoving another child. I called them to ask why did our child shove another child? They said well, that child attacked first and took an item from your child, but your child didn't respond properly by asking the teacher for help and just shoved that child and retrieved the item by force. This is definitely not a place for people of color. They are full of racist BS and only good at collecting money without any accountability. They will call you to come and take your child if they hear any sneeze, or see a glimpse of a bored child, or not taking a nap...etc. of endless BS of just picking up on certain ones. By the way, most of their reviews on google are fake. Stacey and her staff were reporting this same review to google for removal and wrote 3 other fake reviews of 5 stars as a replacement in less than one day to keep themselves highly rated place. Pathetic.

We enrolled our son at this school and, overall, he had positive experiences with his teachers. He…read morewas always treated kindly, and we appreciate the care and effort that his classroom teachers provided during his time there. Unfortunately, our experience with the administration was much different. When our family needed to withdraw our son, we provided three weeks' notice. We were informed that because we did not provide a full four weeks' notice, the school would retain our entire deposit. While we understand that policies exist for a reason, keeping the full deposit over a one-week difference felt unnecessarily rigid and disappointing, especially given the significant financial investment families make to attend this school. What was most frustrating was the lack of flexibility and consideration for our family's circumstances. A partial refund or compromise would have felt much more reasonable and demonstrated that the school values its relationship with families beyond simply enforcing policies. We also noticed a high amount of staff turnover during our time there. While we cannot speak to the reasons behind it, it was something that stood out to us. Additionally, several staff members we interacted with did not seem particularly happy or supported in their roles, which raised concerns for us about the overall culture of the school. If your primary concern is the day-to-day classroom experience, we had positive interactions with our son's teachers. However, if customer service, administrative flexibility, and financial fairness are important factors in your decision, I would encourage you to carefully consider those aspects before enrolling. For a school that requires a substantial financial commitment from families, we expected a more reasonable and family-centered approach. I will include that administration did offer what they described as an adjustment by allowing us to hold our deposit and apply it toward a future enrollment, and they stated that they would not charge another deposit if we chose to return. They appeared to view this as good customer service and a reasonable accommodation. However, these options were not helpful in our family's circumstances, and the school was aware of the reasons we were leaving. Re-enrolling was not a realistic option for us, so offering to preserve the deposit for a future enrollment did not address the actual issue we were facing. While we appreciate that an alternative was offered, it felt like a solution that the administration knew we would not be able to use, rather than a meaningful effort to work with our family on a fair resolution.

This facility now escort children by force to classroom once they arrive later than 9 am. Any arrival later than 9:30 requires a doctor approval. God knows, how easy it is for a child to get sick from daycare virus. By all means, many kids here are less than 3 years old. Not recommend it to any friends!!!

As a first-time mom, enrolling my 3-month-old son at KinderCare was a big decision. Initially, I felt reassured and supported, especially by Ms. Brittany and Ms. Shanisha. They were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my son's well-being. Anytime concerns arose, they addressed them quickly and professionally. I honestly felt my son was in good hands at first. But things changed. My son's father once witnessed a teacher being rough with him at just 10 months old. We were told it was handled, but it shook our trust. Later, my son came home with a bruise on his face after a vague "incident" that was never clearly explained. I tried to meet with the director, Ms. Martha, and she canceled without following up. No accountability, no real care. I eventually withdrew my son, and no one from leadership even asked why. There are NO CAMERAS (even though we request), no strong curriculum, and it's VERY expensive for the lack of oversight. I'm only giving 2.5 stars because of Ms.Judi, Ms. Brittany and Ms. Shanisha they truly cared. Without them, this place isn't somewhere I'd recommend or trust again.

Before enrolling, I wish I had known: 1) The camp and the aftercare program do not run if enrollment is too low, and the decision to cancel is made with less than a week's notice. If you depend on camp for childcare, this may leave you in a bind. 2) This camp relies heavily on screentime (in English) - I never found out exactly how much time was spent watching tv and movies on Netflix and YouTube, but my child shared they watched all or part of 2-3 non-educational movies almost each day. 3) Programming - No curriculum, educational themes, written work, or pictures of activities were shared or came home. There was 1 craft in 2 weeks.

The kindness and attention given by all teachers and staff members is unequalled at any other school I interviewed. Our daughter is now graduating Kindergarten and so far she is a far better reader than any of her friends who go to other highly rated schools, her math skills are also superior, she is speaking French, English, Spanish, and Arabic, even though I do not speak the languages at home. Not only does she speak the language and is able to communicate with native speakers with out assistance, she reads Dr Seuss type books in French, English, and Spanish unassisted. Additionally, all the parents at LIH form a small but tight and loving community of friends, who are welcoming and inclusive, fostering a wonderful environment for our children to thrive!
