Our family was part of this center for many years. Over the past six months, however, we lost trust in the safety, professionalism, and oversight of the program. During that time, the center closed unexpectedly with no notice due to building code violations, we experienced major billing errors, and I was confronted by staff in an immature and unprofessional manner after reporting a concern to the director. Our time here ultimately ended due to a serious breakdown in professionalism involving classroom staff. A situation that should have been handled calmly and privately escalated into dismissive and confrontational behavior in front of children, followed by defensiveness rather than accountability. The tone and manner of communication were inappropriate for a childcare setting and left me deeply concerned about how conflict is handled when parents raise concerns. This was not a decision we made lightly after many years of enrollment. Parents should also pay close attention to the billing system. I was wrongly charged over $400 and had to fight to recover the money. The billing records are unnecessarily complicated, and it is extremely difficult to reach anyone beyond the center level to correct errors. It is concerning that funds can be withdrawn without clear, accessible accountability. I share this to encourage parents to remain vigilant, not only about staff professionalism and behavior, but also about billing accuracy and how concerns are addressed. Leadership matters, but so does the conduct modeled by the adults working directly with children every day. read more

DIRTY! Disgustin, cockroach infested facility that teachers are expected to clean after long overtime shifts with classrooms completely out of ratio. Multiple age groups in single classrooms posing dangers to younger students. My child was bit multiple times by child that was too old to be in her INFANT class. read more

My son went to this facility for a few months. My honest opinion... only good thing is Ms.Sheena was sweet. I am glad I took my son out and he will not return. Even though there is video cameras ( I would check it daily to see my son) I didn't like what I saw. Teachers intimating kids, getting mad at them for play with certain toys ( letting others play with the exact toys) , finding pinch marks in inner side of my sons arms multiple times( didn't get any incident reports if they are from children ) , taking away food from kids if they play with it ( I viewed it happening to my son and he wasn't causing food fights) , and how rough they were redirecting children. I never mentioned it to management due to the fear of retaliation and safety of my child. I will add as well they hardly ever did any educational activities. Usually see the kids watching the IPad or playing in the classroom. read more

My son is thriving in this daycare. I am so blessed that they had a spot for him. The workers are kind, they are constantly smiling, all of the workers know him by name. My friends and coworkers are impressed by how fast he is learning. We love la petite! read more

My kids have been at this La Petite for the last seven years. I LOVE this daycare and I trust them. I have a personal friendship with my children's current, and previous, teachers and I know how much they all love my kids. It's an amazing place and they only hire the best teachers, obviously! I also want to mention that, as a parent, I'm still friends with some of the parents and most of the teachers. This place is awesome. read more

There is no other child care facility that I would trust with my child other than La Petite! I have a 18 month old son and he has been going there since he was four months old. When we moved I thought about switching providers but in the end I could not fathom the thought of him going anywhere else. They TEACH him and love him verses watching him play. He goes to school everyday (well almost we know how pre-toddlers can be) with a huge smile on his face. I love the teachers and the managing staff! read more

I love this day care and so do my kids. It has brought out do many great qualities in each of them. They teach accountability, responsibility and good citizenship and although my kids have only been there a couple months, the difference between this center and our last one is night and day. They are excelling in every area of development and I am so proud. I can't say enough good things about this place! read more

I absolutely love it here! My little lady has been here off and on since she was 18 months and is now 9. The teachers and staff are patient and education driven. She loves to be here, which honestly, for a 9 year old to love her after school care is a huge bonus. I would recommend this school for anyone. read more

Excellent choice for child care. Kind, caring staff that I trust completely to meet all my children's needs. The teachers there seem to go above and beyond to bond with all the kids left in their care and are great about communicating with me as well. When I first started looking for childcare for my daughter I was hesitant and nervous just as any mother would be . I went to La Petite in White Settlement and toured that facility . We fell in love with it at that moment . We put a deposit down and they held our spot for a couple months . My daughter started in August . I loved that we could log into the Watch me Grow cameras and live stream our daughter's classroom and see what she was up to, I could see her grow while I was at work and learn new things. I thought that nothing would happen to her and I could trust this daycare especially with the cameras. That unfortunately was farthest from the truth. A week after my child started she came home with an abrasion and a bruise on her face. They said she fell against a wall while hanging on to a shelf . Mind you she was too young to walk and was very uneasy on her feet. The next day I decided to watch the cameras more in depth that day . During one moment of the day I had a gut feeling to look at the cameras again . I am so glad I did . I saw our child laying on the floor where EVERYONE could see her , she was very easy to see where she was laying . Next thing I know as I am watching the cameras I see a day care worker walk by ( I was thinking she was going to pick her up and put her in the crib ) . She walked by and KICKED her in the head . It was hard enough that it moved my daughters body and made my daughter raise up and scream and cry . Next thing you know she looks down to her and does nothing . I thought she was going to render aide and report the "accident" to someone and pick her up and love on her. I was far from wrong , she left her crying on the floor and walked away . Never reported it and never did a thing ! My husband and myself had to go to the daycare and demand them replay the video. To this day they are still refusing to release us the video . The state got involved and thankfully they gave them a couple violations . However the employee that did this is still there, she said at first she didn't kick her , then said she didn't realize it because she couldn't feel it on her foot , then she said it was an accident . Per the violation on the state website it looks like the employee kept changing their story as well. I am so disappointed . If the employee had rendered aide and not NEGLECTED my child and apologized to me and did the right thing I would not be writing this review. When you look for child care you look for someone to take care of your children like you would . I understand accidents happen and I also know kids fall and hurt themselves but this is uncalled for. This whole situation was handled poorly on the daycare's part. If this was an accident why did the employee not pick up my crying daughter ? Why did she not report the " accident "? How could she not see her when she was laying in the middle of the floor? Due to this I will never trust another day care again . Also they refused to release the videos to us when we went to go view them with the district director . If you have nothing to hid why can't I have a copy of my child getting kicked in the head ? I am so thankful the state showed up while I was there and he was able to see the video as well . I am also glad that my daughter did not receive any further injury. I will add though that the morning teacher named Mrs. Shawna is awesome and our daughter loved her unfortunately during this "incident" I do not believe she was there. Mrs. Amanda was nice as well. The teacher that caused the " incident" was not always in there when I dropped her off or picked her up. If you decide to go here watch those cameras every single second , and if something does happen get them pulled immediately . read more

The time I spent at this daycare was bittersweet. The teachers were amazing and my son adapted very easily to them. They were so caring and wonderful to see each day. On the other hand the office Staff (Tameko and Crystal) were extremely rude and hard to conversation with. They were very judgmental, because I am a young mother. They would give me snotty looks every day and talk to me as if I were of lesser education ( I graduated a year early with a 4.0 and am attending UTA for Radiology). I overheard Tameko numerous times talking to children that were in the office (in trouble) in a manner that I would not even speak to my dogs in. AND I QUOTE "You are not worthy of even having a snack because you can't play nice with other children". This may not be a big deal to some parents, but if I had heard her say that to MY child I would be outraged. When I told her I was moving to another daycare due to her constant attitude and disrespect she refused to refund my money that I had paid for the entire month. (I had paid on the 1st and cancelled my care on the 4th). She also told me that my "tardiness is disrupting my childs learning". When I told her that my one year old does not need care before 9 am, she exclaimed "THIS IS NOT A BABYSITTING SERVICE, THIS IS A PRE EDUCATIONAL ACADEMY!" I fully understand time requirements but I stated on my first day there that I would not be ariving until 9 AM and she said that as not a problem, she then went on to say "Your son is a year old and can't even walk." After that I was outraged and now here I am writing a review on her outlandish behavior. I made sure to let him WALK into the daycare when we went to pick up the remainder of his belongings, when again she was rude to me and looked at me with such disgust that I cried all the way home. My mother was livid at the way I was treated and reported them to the department of child services. Your child will learn a lot here, and you will LOVE the teachers, but if you are not the perfect person BEWARE OF THE OFFICE STAFF. read more
