The Pastor's sermons are always personal, positive, and inspirational; the music and talents in this church are phenomenal; and for myself a member for only a year it has come to feel like a second home. First United Methodist Church does so much to help others and is very involved with community outreach programs as well world missions. If you are looking for a church to attend or a new church to check out I highly recommend visiting First United Methodist of Hurst.

The staff truly go above and beyond to create a welcoming, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children Teacher Yary and Assistant Teacher Ms. Sarah are absolutely amazing--they are patient, caring, and so skilled at connecting with the kids. We are always impressed by how much our little has learned and enjoys the school. The early drop off teachers/guides are also very welcoming and patient. My child looks forward to seeing them every day! The Assistant Director, Samantha, and Director, Jessica have been so helpful and approachable, always ready to answer questions and make sure parents feel supported. From the moment we first walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth and community. The school had a TON of events that make it inclusive for the community and are really well thought out and fun! Back in October 2019, TLE opened and we were one of the first to have our child enrolled. Some of…read morethe reasons why we chose to enroll our child was they were professional, they allowed our children to play in their indoor playground, and they were also extremely welcoming. We have had no complaints or concerns. The campus is very secure and Jennifer (the director) has been awesome since day one. They have been flexible with us with scheduling issues as they arise. Before Covid-19, we would walk-in and take our child to the class and pick them up. They have a fob system, so they can see who is coming in and out. Since Covid-19, the check-in process has changed to the breezeway, but they have been fantastic throughout this whole ordeal. They make sure there is only one family in the breezeway at a time, they all wear masks, and you can still feel the welcoming environment. Our child has progressed so much, since she has been going to TLE, she was doing great at potty training (they were confident enough with starting her around 2 years and 3 months) and she was doing great. She has seemed to pickup things very quickly and part of it is her older sister, but some of it is definitely from TLE. All we can say is that we were so happy we made the decision to enroll our child at TLE Hurst.

The first 6 months or so we had two wonderful teachers who were consistently there. The second 6 months I guess when it rains it pours because they seemed to lose teachers left and right to new jobs and maternity leave. Which I know they can't control but from a non used to the daycare system was a little weird. My daughter liked it well enough, different stations for what I best could call play learning ... kind of like a big play date. If we needed after school care or "part-time" day care again then we would look into using them again ...

My high school son transferred from public school to Midcities Montessori at the beginning of this…read moreyear. He was struggling in the public school setting and had become resentful of what he referred to as an "apathetic" environment. Struggling with ADHD, he found it difficult, almost impossible, to learn under the public school curriculum. After almost 6 weeks at Midcities Montessori, he has become noticeably happier and his depression has all but disappeared. He has begun to enjoy learning again. The smaller teacher to student ratio has allowed his teacher to be more hands on with him. Not only encouraging him to work on his focus, but providing a safe and positive learning environment. Kim, the owner, has worked with us every step of the way to make sure the transfer went smoothly. She genuinely cares about every student's progress and is a complete gem. Thank you, Midcities Montessori for the incredible work that you do and for allowing my son to come out of his shell and flourish.

I originally decided on them years ago based on their low tuition prices but happened upon a goldmine of incredible staff and administration. Not only did my boys learn social skills, letters, counting, and principles, the school is run so well that when it was time for public school, I was in shock at the disorder compared to how Ms. Linda ran things at Fuller Hearts. Communication is clear and consistent, Covid protocols were excellent and prompt, and most of all our kids loved going there. I would recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a quality education and caring staff who major in excellence.
