I purchased Ice for months last year: August, September, and October, about 50 bags per week at the max. Today I stopped in to grab 4 bags to check the quality and ice size to plan for the busy season ahead. I paid ahead, got my receipt, and started to load my ice. When grabbing the 2nd bag I tried to grab the 3rd at the same time but didn't want to rip or drop a 20lb bag of ice, so I only took one at a time. When grabbing the 4th and final bag the dude at the register, the same guy I was purchasing from all last year, told me that I already grabbed everything I paid for and accused me of stealing a fifth / extra bag. I explained that I didn't and only took one at a time. He insisted that I was stealing so I told him to come look in my car that was parked right on the curb; he refused to leave the counter and insisted that I took an extra bag. I took a picture of the ice in the back of the car to show him but he was rude and continued to say I took more, so i tried to remind him of all the business I gave him last year. He was a rude d*ick. I will not return to give this shop any money ever again. I work in another local small Buena Park business, and I was wearing my work shirt with the logo, AND I paid with a company card. I didn't need to steal a $5 bag of ice. F*uck you, get wrecked. Sometimes the pricing is cheaper online, and it's reflected when it's scanned at the register. Also not all bourbon is in order. There was a bottle they definitely had , but I couldn't find it and took a few minutes for an associate to locate it. Therefore, I highly recommend to order online and pickup later. (I would have saved about 30mins ordering online ). Not that I'm complaining, just stating a fact. Pricing for scotch and non allocated bourbon is excellent. Lower than anyone , save Costco. I came specifically for a Laphroaig lore cask strength, $85. Grabbed a few other goodies.

Just to be clear, it's a liquor store, with a deli inside, so it does not look like your average sandwich shop. They are in a small strip mall next to a laundromat and nail salon and now there's a coffee place as well. There's outdoor seating that's gated, a long the west side of the building. I used to work in the area and we would order from Walker's almost 3 to 5 times a week for various meeting and training's so I'm a Walker's regular. I'm happy to report the same crew still works there and remembers me so it's great to know the consistency and quality are still there! I would definitely recommend getting a sandwich here versus a chain sandwich shop.

She was standing on her phone, and when I asked where the bottle was, she simply replied, "It's in the back." Since I wasn't familiar with the layout of this store, I asked if she could tell me where in the back--left, right, straight ahead, etc. She just repeated, "I said it's in the back." As a first-time customer at this location, that wasn't very helpful and honestly made me feel dismissed. Thankfully, the rest of my experience was completely different. I found another employee near the refrigerator section, and he was amazing. He walked me directly to what I was looking for, helped me grab everything I needed, and even carried it up to the register for me. He was incredibly friendly, made me laugh, and genuinely turned my shopping experience around. The cashier was also super sweet, and the manager who was there took the time to ask how my day was going and chatted with me for a bit. Those interactions made the store feel much more welcoming. While my first interaction wasn't great, everyone else I encountered provided excellent customer service and really made up for it. I hope the employee I first spoke with can be reminded that a little kindness and direction go a long way, especially for customers who aren't familiar with the store.
