I think I'm being followed by the CoVid bug!!!!

David is the best! We wanted to celebrate New Years Eve in style at the end of 22 by busting a COVID piñata. Sent him a photo and a week later we have 5 of them for distribution to our friends and family!!! Thanks La Pinata Factory. !!

Scarily accurate effigy of Trump. Everyone loved it --best cinco de mayo surprise for the bachelorette.

Planning a bachelorette is all about the little things like coordinating a Cinco de Mayo celebration as it serendipitously falls on the first day of a celebration filled weekend. I knew no Cinco de Mayo celebration could be complete without a pinata. Given what has been going on in the news every day since inauguration, I made a somewhat lofty goal to try and locate a Donald Trump pinata--what is better than a bunch of drunk girls taking out every aggression on an effigy of our fearless leader? I stumbled upon this gem and called three weeks before our arrival date. He said that he had all kinds of pinatas and that he could make more. I said ANYTHING? He said ANYTHING and I knew I had found my guy. I told him I was hoping for the Donald and texted him a picture of the face I was hoping he could mimic. Without even skipping a beat, he said it'd be ready for me for pickup when I fly in that Thursday. A week after our phone conversation, he texted me the picture of it to say it was done. I picked it up Friday morning and perused all his creations--he is a paper mache master. Everyone loved it, the bride's face when she first saw it after she took off the blindfold was one of the highlights of the weekend, and I have never seen so many grown girls dive for candy with no regard. Alcohol, of course, greatly enhanced this experience.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. I sent him a photo of a piñata I saw online and he made an amazing replica! If you want a custom piñata you can just set it up via text. No need to go in person. If you need a regular piñata last minute that they already have made be sure to text/call before you go that way you make sure someone is there. He does amazing work! Definitely recommend!

I purchased a Disney Coco pinata. The pinata came out great. My son loved it! Definitely will come back. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!

I especially love their candle selection--they carry some of my favorite luxury brands, including Cereria Molla and Glasshouse Candles. They also have an adorable assortment of greeting cards, stylish home décor, and unique decorative accessories that make it hard to leave empty-handed. If you're looking to add character to your home, they also have a great collection of prints, including beautiful mid-century-inspired artwork. Every time I visit, I discover something new. Whether you're shopping for a gift or refreshing your own space, Just Fabulous is definitely worth a visit.

If you've wandered into their street front store for a gift before, then you definitely need to take a stroll through the little park in the back to this location. If you are like me and have struggled to find gifts for those most difficult people in your life who seem to have everything this might be the perfect one stop. Stunning and unique coffee table books to bar sets and elegant candle offerings. Every corner is styled beautifully and super easy to browse. Often times I feel overwhelmed by these boutique shops, but everything was well spaced with easily located price tags. I spoke with an associate Shannon who is an absolute sweetheart, and happy to walk me through the shop and explain every corner and provide suggestions and offerings. I felt so horrible because I wasn't here to buy gifts, but this will be one of my recommendations for anyone looking to get an elevated present. Understand that these are curated items and the price reflects this. I recommend that you take some time to explore every corner because there were a few small gift items that were more limit budget range. I can't wait to come back and do some serious shopping when I have the time!

This is where my wife got her knife set, tea sets, and a lot of pieces we still use all the time. It's one of those places where everything feels intentional. Nothing feels random or mass produced. You can tell there's real thought behind what they carry. What really stayed with me was the bonsai. The owner had one he was trimming and mentioned he's had it for over 30 years. That says everything. The patience, the care, the discipline behind something like that. It's not just a plant, it's a reflection of time and commitment. You don't see that kind of passion everywhere. The quality across the board is strong. The knives, the tea sets, everything feels like it was chosen for a reason, not just to fill shelves. And the ownership and staff are amazing. Welcoming, easy to talk to, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they're doing. It doesn't feel transactional, it feels personal. This is one of those places you end up coming back to without even planning it. Love this place.

I don't know about YOU…read more.. But for ME.... Twenty Twenty-Five was the Year of Target! I kid you not, I visited my local Target store more times in 2025 than I ever had before.... And I LIKED it!! I know, I know, you ladies reading this RIGHT NOW are nodding your heads with absolute approval thinking to yourselves, "Yes Lance, go on, speak Target to me!" Sorry fellas, but I've gotta side with the girls on this one... But Target has just got it going on. Hey, I get it. It's clean, it's organized, & they've got most of your household basics. So I know what you're thinking... What made me so Target Happy in 2025?? Well my new obsession Vinyl Records, of course!! Yes, earlier last year, I surprised my wife and purchased her 2 Vinyl Records from her favorite band. Later that night, we went out and purchased a Record Player so we could play her new records. Once we got home that evening, within seconds of first hearing the sound, the quality, and the difference of listening to music play on a Vinyl versus digitally and.... I. Was. Hooked. From there, I discovered that Target stores have a small, but decent record selection; mainly new age stuff, but some re-recorded classics that everyone should have in their collection. And so my Target Ventures began. Yeah, I would find myself popping into my local Target and Bee-Lining it straight towards their records just see what they had. It came to the point where sometimes I would go daily, just to see if any new records had arrived. It became more of a hunt, that actual shopping, and I was always so happy when I saw a record that I wanted to add to my growing collection. And trust, when I saw an album that I wanted... I bought it! So why Target?? For one, they have a lot of the new-age records for current artists for that I'm currently into. Plus, there are a lot of Target Edition Vinyls that are made specifically for Target (limited edition colored vinyls, etc.) Heck, even when we are out of town... you know Target will on our to-do list. Well in October 2025, we were in Palm Springs to celebrate my birthday and we were on a mission to go straight to the local Target on October 3rd to grab a copy of Taylor Swifts newest album, The Life of a Showgirl. Hey, I'm a Girl Dad of 3 girls... plus a wife... I'm not embarrassed to say it, but I'm in a household full of Swifties, me included ;) Thankfully, that day, the release day... I didn't have to fight any teenage girls off to get my hands on Taylor's newest album because Target Palm Springs was prepared and had a huge display of albums, c.d's to choose from. Of course, like any Target run that anyone does... Once we grabbed the 1 item that we actually came in for, we headed straight to the check out line (Ha! This NEVER happens)... Yeah, we grabbed a cart, and we went shopping! My wife found some all white cowgirl boots, picked up a few fantasy books to read, and of course some things for the kids... Hey, this is how you Target! So... now you know how I spent the latter half of my 2025 and I have the record selection to prove it. We are now up to about 40 or so vinyls with over half of them thanks to my spontaneous Target drop in's. So.... Who is brave enough to share what brings you to Target so much. If you feel like sharing, you know what section to find me in ;)

There was only one time when there was weird hyper "music", I couldn't stay in the store that long as it was giving me a headache & making my heart race in not good ways. Eeek...but it's usually cool... Lots of cute stuff from Japan. Facial products, makeup, body & home scents, travel items, housewares, snacks, portable chargers, bags, slippers, massage tools, seasonal decorations, notebooks & washi tapes, etc... I like going in there to browse & usually buy something... My faves have been the Hot Shrimp Chips, Pocky (even though I'm now liking Pepero brand at the Kpop store better), Hi Chew candies, Portable Chargers are so cute, Tissue Packs (I get the larger soft packs for home/auto), holiday decorations, travel slippers, packing cubes, makeup brushes, facial/back/neck massagers, etc... They change it up often so it's not always the same things... The staff has always been nice!

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.
