Nice little place recommended by a young lady on my route. They have taco specials on several days, not just Tuesday. I got the steak tacos & they were pretty good. You get one sauce per three tacos, so I got six. The sauce, green is what I was given, was good, as well. If you want heat, you might try one of the other sauces. This is a small, cramped little grocery with a kitchen along the side. There were a lot of people waiting & it was hot inside. The staff were very busy, but also friendly. The food is amazing and if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is a must eat at place! My husband and I had street tacos - chirozo, chicken, Al pastor,and carnitas. Place is super small but awesome! $1.25 tacos on Tuesdays and more, but not sure on specific days. The el pastor was incredible! Carnitas were also really good as well as the asada. Tuesday $1 Tacos!!! Ordered ahead of time. Place was packed with people waiting for orders and to place orders. You have to wait in line even if you called ahead but worth the wait. Have gone to this store often to promote local business even though they never have fresh produce or the tortillas I want. This time the owner was rude. I couldn't find an item I needed, so I asked when I got to the register. They didn't have it anymore. Therefore, I didn't need the two cans of gandules. i called in and asked if my food was ready they told me no another 10 minutes, so i waited for a call and nothing. then i called back within 20/25 minutes. and they gave my food & it was COLD! because it was sitting there. i called & talk to them & they blamed me for waiting to long too call back. but they told me they WOULD call when its ready! never offer too replace my order or nothing, i've been a regular customer and i don't like how i was treated! it was very selfish of them. money hungry business never care about the customers, i won't be coming back! read more
