I get chorizo, bacon, and egg burritos every time! Phenomenal! I always order two for myself portion size wise. Their tortillas are delicious and clearly homemade. Aside from their breakfast tacos, their crunchy beef tacos are great and a favorite of mine! Service is always friendly. It's a busy spot! I was in town for the Little League Championship and I made my way over to this place. It was so good (my opinion) that I made my way back the following day to try some other items on the menu. First day I had some breakfast burritos and a cup of agua frescas. I can honestly say that they reminded me of South Texas, a real deep tradition made way. While enjoying my food I couldn't help but notice the amount of patrons waiting to pick up orders and lining up the drive thru. A real indication of how popular this place is...the amount of people speaks volumes of the food served here. The second day I had a gordita and a quesadilla along with some more agua fresca. Quesadilla was not bad and the gordita was pretty good. The agua frescas are very addictive as they are so rich with real fruit flavors. If I ever find myself in Abilene again I will definitely make it a point to stop here and indulge in there food and drinks. read more

My husband's mom picked this up for lunch today. She said she loves it here. FOOD Carne Asada Guisado - His mom really likes this so she bought a pint. It looked exactly like the description. Some meat stewed in gravy. The meat was chewy and the gravy sauce was overly salty. Tortillas - Apparently, these are fresh tortillas. They were nice and soft and you really needed these to cut the salt from the guisado. Prices are really cheap here. Can't say that I would want this again though. read more

Good burritos, but get your order wrong about half the time. If you ask, and PAY for, extra bacon they are very reluctant to give you what you paid for. The burrito you get is still pretty tasty, but the fact that they cannot get simple orders right can be attributed to either dishonest practices (probably not) or general incompetence. I live in Brownwood and usually buy tamales to take back home with me. The 14th and Pine locations were out so I called this location to see if they had any tamales. I was happy to hear they had one and a half dozen left. That was until I tried them. While the flavor is the same these tamales are much more skimpy than the other two locations. One problem is they use a lot less meat mixture and that's just being cheap but the other problem was they only cover half the corn corn husk now that's just plain lazy because masa hardly costs anything. I eat here sometimes just out of convenience. Their burritos are incredibly small and bland, and their salsa just flat sucks. Their limeade is usually pretty good. However, I came in last Saturday morning, and was disgusted. The burritos I ordered had egg, but I was surprised to find them filled with eggshell as well. Parking sucks at all of them - but only because they are always packed because they are THAT good!!! No drive through at the S14th location, but no matter. If you want drive though that bad, don't go to that one...you still have 2 others to choose from that do have drive through. Not sure why they charge extra for cheese though. But again, no matter.
