The staff is really friendly, and quick to greet you! They have a menu that clearly explains what comes with each plate, and the price of each plate. They serve house made lemonade all day that is delicious! I ordered the huevos rancheros, and the sauce came on the side. Everything about it was hot, fresh, and delicious (especially tortillas). Their breakfast burritos have a great ratio of eggs to meat (unlike other burrito places in town). I would recommend this location for breakfast any day you are looking for breakfast plate or burrito! (Ps they have a drive thru!)

Well people today took a little different path, went to Hernandez Bakery. Had not been there before, was a little confused as it if I should order at the counter or if someone would be taking orders. Order at the counter. The place had several drive up at the window and plenty of to go orders. That may have led to the slow service, the people had there food half eaten by the time I received mine. Was not to concerned about it. The food was good so overall happy with the place Just think they need to work on a better system than they got going on.

Great breakfast burritos. Every time we are in town for a show. This is a must stop. Best burritos in town we have found. Nice people.

Had breakfast burritos. They were ok. I've had better but it's worth the $2-$3. I'd probably try another spot before going back.

Don't waste your time and money. This place had flies and the bacon was undercooked in my burrito.

Great carne guisada. (spelling?) The drive-thru staff are annoying. They act like you are bothering them.

I had the carne guisada burrito and my husband had the gordita plate, both tasted fresh and delicious.

We usually drive up Saturday so lunch in Coleman, TX. Once we're settled in at our usual hotel we start looking for evening snacks and drinks. We dined at TaMollys once but didn't like the lack of a full bar. That restaurant has since closed. The Buffalo Wild Wings at the mall was horrible. We also went to Outback Steakhouse because it's within walking distance. Good drinks but we're not here to eat sub par steak followed by the # 3 ranked Texas Monthly steakhouse in Texas. Checked everything within reasonable walking distance. This is where Garry's local knowledge helped dial in Casa Herrera. Our group waited a few minutes before being seated. Served by veteran server (20+ years at the restaurant) it was a very pleasant experience. Here's how the food went. My entree consisted of a giant pitcher of Patron Margarita which I hoarded. As for the rest of the cuisine the photos are posted here. OK, I did share a bit with my GF and nearby friends. I've also been asked to do the steak run twice a year. We're coming back!
