Came in for takeout and ordered tacos, and chips with guacamole. Ordering over the phone was easy and simple. Finding it was a little difficult (it's hidden in the back). I passed it twice lol. I had to google image it and then I saw it. The road is off a major road so the rate of travel isn't slow so it's easy to miss. The chips were delicious. They definitely tastedlike they were homemade chips. I do, however wish they had queso. The guacamole was delicious. The chicken taco was delicious. The steak taco was OK. La Pupusa Loca is honestly one of my favorite restaurants. I've eaten here so many times, and every time the food is absolutely amazing. The pupusas are delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor, and the curtido and salsa make them even better. I also love how much variety they have, from pupusas and tacos to burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, soups, and their other Salvadoran specialties. The food always feels comforting and authentic, and the portions are great. This is the kind of place where I can order something different and still know I'm going to get a great meal. Very nice spot for a meal! Quick and kind service in this small no-frills shop. Tried the chicken trio and carne asada trio tacos. Also tried a few pupusas (jalepeno and cheese and revueltas). Tacos were great - light, easy to hold, soft but not soggy, meats were tender and seasoned well, and garnishes were fresh and finely chopped. Pupusas were a tad oilier than I hoped, but generally really good. I also ordered horchata. Probably wouldn't get again. The drink was too sweet and had chocolate plus another flavor (tasted like peanut butter) mixed in, which took away from the typical flavor. Dinner for 3 came out to ~$60 inclusive of tip. Second Framingham location!! Amazing food, not a single improvement could be made. The papusas are cheesy with tender meat, and cabbage to balance it out. The birria tacos are the best I've ever had. Good size, amazing flavor, rich broth. I also ordered the atol de elote drink, which is a thick, warm corn based drink. It's like sipping on a custard; I really want to make it at home not. Get the pupusas!! Came here on a Friday night and there was no one eating in but there were a few take out orders. Definitely a hole in the wall. It was in the middle of a heat wave (90 degrees) and they had two window ACs going but it was hotter inside than outside. We opted to eat in since we had time to kill in the area but definitely sweating!! Ordered the cheese and zucchini pupusa, chicken and cheese pupusas, and the steak burrito. They are made to order, so did take about 15 minutes to prepare. The zucchini one was the best. It comes with a side of spicy cabbage salad. I thought the salad was a bit too salty but the crunchy paired well with the pupusas. Burrito was just okay. Would skip the steak burrito and just get more pupusas next time! read more

The place is tiny with maybe 2 tables and a bunch of counter seats. It was the definition of a hidden Gem hole in the wall. The staff is awesome. The food is handmade and fresh. My favorite was probably the zucchini and cheese one or jalapeño and cheese. It comes with a sort of vinegar slaw. That's quite nice to balance the flavor of the pupusa. Got take out from here last week. The papusa's were great. We tried the beans-cheese and zucchini-cheese. I asked for less cheese and they delivered. The cabbage salad was good as well. The highlight of the meal was their Salvadorian Quesadilla. It was AMAZING. So different from anything I have had before. Don't mistake it with the regular grilled tortilla. Salvadoran quesadillas are rich, buttery, sweet-salty pound cake that's often eaten for breakfast with tea/coffee. But we thoroughly enjoyed it as our dessert. First time trying Pupusas! The server was very kind and service itself was quick in terms of taking the order. The restaurant was quite busy when I ordered and I saw a lot of people actually ordered over the phone and picked up the food. I would recommend doing that next time as we did have to wait around 25 minutes after ordering since the Pupusas are cooked to order. Overall all of the pupusas had a great filling to dough ratio! I thought the sauce and cabbage toppings went perfectly with the meal and helped cut through some of the savory flavors! Chicharron con Queso Pork and cheese: Very savory in flavor with a great cheese and pork ratio! Queso con Jalapeño Jalapeño and cheese: This flavor is mostly cheese with some jalapeños which help cut the fattiness of the cheese. It is not spicy so no worries if you cannot handle spice. Frijol con Queso Bean and cheese: I loved the bean and cheese flavor! I felt it went really well with the cabbage toppings! Queso con Loroco Loroco and cheese: I had never heard of Loroco before checking out the menu but it seems to be some sort of flower based on my google search. The flavor was similar to squash in my opinion. It wasn't my favorite personally but not bad! Revueltas Pork, beans and cheese: This was my favorite of the flavors I tried! I thought the meat added a nice taste to the bean and cheese! Tres Leches Cake: Delicious! Pretty good size for the price. Small Chips and Guac: The chips are made in house and are very tasty. Thicker than chips I have gotten elsewhere. The guac was quite small for the price and was just avocado and onion. Definitely not bad but not really worth the price in my opinion. It's hard to find amazing tacos In Massachusetts but these are top of the list. The meat was expertly marinated and grilled to perfection. The authentic Salvadorian pupusas were delicious and bigger than I anticipated. My favorite was the ayote (zucchini) and cheese pupusa, as the lightness of the squash complemented the sweetness of the cornmeal that the pupusa is made of and the richness of the cheese. The place was small with 1 or 2 tables for seating (tables fit 2 people) and after those are taken just the counter for seating. Infomrative and friendly staff. The food was fresh (you see them make it in front of you). I have never had a pupusa before and didn't know what to expect. In addition to my usual order of pupusas and the fantastic accompanying slaw and salsa, yesterday at the Concord Ave location I ordered the Birria tacos because I saw that they come with broth. I don't like beef, but I'm all about a good broth. They were so good that I woke up thinking about them and wanting to order them again today. The grill on the tortillas. The melted cheese.
