    Chicken enchiladas

Excellent food. My wife stated the taco shells are the best ever. The make them at the restaurant fresh. I had the fajita, shrimp and chicken. It was very tasty. My daughter had a chicken enchilada which she loves. No frills atmosphere but very clean. Great family atmosphere.

"Oh, Mexico It sounds so simple, I just got to go The sun's so hot I forgot to go home" (James Taylor) Mexican "Street tacos" sure are an improvement over the hard, crunchy and crumbly Ortega and Old El Paso versions of my youth. And we sure had some terrific street tacos from the good folks at the Baja Mexican Restaurant. We picked up dinner on our way to our hotel and ordered four street tacos (chicken, carnitas, potato and shrimp) and two Salibutes with shredded chicken. The tacos were ridiculously inexpensive - just $2,99 for the chicken, pork, and potato ones and $3.99 for the shrimp. They tasted great and came with double corn tortillas and plenty of filling. The salibutes were even better. At just $3.99, they were a thick fried corn tortilla (like a Johnny cake) loaded up with chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and cilantro. They were very filling and plain old delicious! We love these little taquerias. Family owned businesses with fresh made to order food. Well done, Baja!

On our way back from Boston, we stopped at Baha Mexican Restaurant in Naitik, Massachusetts. It's a small family owned restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but it serves the most delicious Mexican dishes. We ordered Tacos Al Pastor, Birria Tacos and Pork Enchilada. Everything was simply delicious. I am still drooling thinking about it!! There isn't a lot of seating inside, just a couple of tables. But we got a table quickly. Didn't have to wait long. While we were enjoying our delicious food, it was hard not to notice how many people were ordering take out. They were super busy and I know why? The food speaks for itself!!

Doesn't look like much when you wake past. It's a hole in the wall. Just a warning, the restaurant is not big and doesn't have much seating, but thankfully, it was not busy when we went (after lunch traffic), so we were able to seat 6.5! I ordered the Tacos AL Pastor and the meat was to die for. The seasoning was amazing, and the meat was cooked well. I absolutely inhaled the tacos. Service was fast, and there was plenty of parking.

Chicken quesadilla, chicken street taco dishes and chips (homemade!) and salsa while we waited.

Part of me wants to keep this restaurant for myself and other locals, but that wouldn't be fair. Baha is direct and to the point with a tidy menu of Mexican basics, and everything is excellent. Maybe once or twice there was a goof on a call in order, but it's fine. I love the street tacos and taco salad, though everything is excellent.

I can't understand why this restaurant has such high reviews. I just picked up a takeout order and this was the worst Mexican food that I have ever had. I picked up the order when they told me that it would be ready. I live three minutes away. The price was $11.76. I ordered a soft Street Taco plate which was supposed to come with pico de gallo, cilantro, and sour cream. I posted photos of the plate. There was no pico de gallo that I could taste, no sour cream and no cilantro. There was also no shredded cheese on them as stated in their menu. I had asked the man who took my order over the phone if these would be on the tacos and he said they would. I had some sour cream in my refreigerator so at least I was able to add that to the tacos. The chicken that was inside the tacos was dry, burnt and chopped up into tiny little pieces. There were about 2 tablespoons of chicken in each taco. It was a good thing that I had some cooked chicken in my refrigerator because I had to eat that in order to get some protein in my dinner. The rice was dry, tasteless and cold. The small serving of refried beans were salty and flavorless. The red salsa was nondescript. The only positive aspect of the meal was the guacamole which tasted homemade. This was my first and last meal from Baha.

I had time to sit down for lunch, there were plenty of tables available. The experience exceeded my expectations, the food was authentic and the service was very good. This is counter service but, after ordering and sitting down they brought over complimentary chips and salsa! Both of which appeared to homemade Ole! Very Nice touch. They have a large variety of food to choose from street tacos, burritos, enchiladas to salads. I picked a lunch combo of 2 street tacos with a side of rice and beans. It totally delivered in freshness and quality; the chorizo and carnitas street tacos were equally tasty. Rice and beans were solid. Get yourself some fresh authentic mex that you can feel good about here at reasonable prices and a clean atmosphere with plenty space stretch out to eat in or take out.

Kids quesadilla. $5.99. Ketchup for fries had to specifically be requested. Forgot to request salsa for the quesadilla.

The good thing about grabbing take out is that you can order a kids meal for yourself and not get told that you look a wee bit older than 12. Ordered a kids quesadilla. With fries. Normally I am anti-fry girl. But the other option was rice and beans. Only retried beans. And I really can't stomach refried beans. Portions were on the smaller side. But it was a kids meal. Reminder to self. It did fill me up. When I picked it up they handed me the styrofoam container. I asked if silverware was included. They had to grab me some. Then I asked if ketchup was included for the fries. They grab a bottle and make me a little to go container. I forgot to ask if salsa and sour cream was included with the quesadilla. It wasn't. So I ate a dry quesadilla. Seating inside is really limited. So they must rely on the take out crowd. So a bit surprising that they have not mastered the art of take out. I'll give the place another try.

At first I almost missed it - it isn't a separate cafe, it's literally just a counter in a gas station store. So I didn't expect much from such a setting. But i was caught off guard- these must be some of the best tacos I've had in the Boston area. The chicken is tender and juicy and full of flavor, pico and onions are fresh, and they are generously stuffed. Somehow they even made the pinto beans incredible. So much better than the 1 bite tacos commonly found in the city. So glad I finally stopped by. 3 tacos - $16.50 (tax/auto tip? Included)

All the ingredients are fresh and you get a choice between corn or flour tortillas for your tacos. $12 for 3 tacos. That's a good deal. The meats are so flavorful and the toppings are more in line with authentic Mexican. I didn't see sour cream or cheese. It's more like pico and cilantro and hot sauces. Seating is limited but you and find two tables around the back to sit outside. The Service was great but it's kind of funny to be asking for tacos while people are in line to fill up their gas tanks. A hidden gem for sure.

The guacamole on the side was average but the salsa was good and had nice chunks of onions and peppers in it. Tuna poke had too much mayo that I could barely taste the tuna. The highlight was the lobster guacamole. I really liked that.
