    Tacos de pollo

I'm so happy I finally tried this place , I'm happier it's up the street from me :) I didn't take a picture of the pupusas but oh my goodness, they were BIG and delicious, the queso was just oozing out , you had to be there , haha. The tacos de pollo I had were packed with delicious chicken and pico also the hot sauce that came with it was very spicy , just how I like it. I can not wait to go here again!

I wish to stress that I would like to come back to this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Upon arriving to Chelsea on the commuter rail, I thought I would have time to sit down for a nice Central-American meal, but nooooooo. My wife was getting out in Revere right when I arrived in Chelsea, and she wanted to get something to eat (btw, picky eater, no way she would eat here). Coming this far I just had to get something, even if it meant eating it when I got home. I wanted something authentic and delicious. I got a couple of pupusa's to go. They weren't great cold, once we had gotten home; however a few minutes in the toaster oven and we were back in business and they were delicious. A great snack before going to bed. I would have enjoyed them better fresh, but I enjoyed them just getting the chance to try it. The only other time I had gotten pupusa was at California Burrito in Nashua N.H., I don't find them too often. Oh, so the parking is limited in the neighborhood. However, the restaurant is clean and the colors used for the paint are bright and cheery. I imagine myself here on a hot summer day enjoying a meal, and it's a cheerful change of pace in the winter months of Boston with the cold breeze bearing down these grey streets of Chelsea. The staff are bilingual and were very polite. This little neighborhood restaurant is worth paying a visit to.

Menu as of August 2020. Packed with great stuff. Don't get mad if time passes and prices have risen slightly.

They serve /piles/ of savory Salvadoran and Mexican food here. I bought two platos and a couple of pupusas and had a hard time carrying it a half mile to my apartment - that's how how much there was. My favorite from here is a Plato Montanero. The beef is quite tender and flavorful, better than steaks you can pay many times as much for elsewhere. But you can't go wrong with anything from here; it's all good. The people are kind-hearted as well. Easy five stars.

This is definitely the place to go for Salvadorean food in Chelsea. I went with a group of co-workers and I ordered the Carne Asada with a Diet Coke. The steak was so tender and flavorful I was silent for the entire meal. You know the food is good if it can get me to sit quiet for a while! Customer service was great, our waitress was a real sweetheart and was constantly checking in on us. Their pupusas are liiiiiiiiiife so you can't leave without getting some of those.

We don't frequent Chelsea very much, but I'm very glad we stumbled upon this place when we did. It's a small, local spot with everything you'd expect and more. The menu is extensive, and if the lady at the counter is there to give you advice, you're bound to find what you want. I ordered soft tacos, which come with delicious rice & beans, as well as a side of avocado and a mango smoothie, which is made simply with milk & fruit -- none of that fake syrupy nonsense you find in some other places. They have a great variety of Mexican and homemade salads -- keep in mind that some of these are HOT, but the flavors are irresistible, and the smoothies cut right through the heat if it gets overwhelming. Overall, a great spot with great deals, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. I'll definitely visit again when I'm back in town.

The steak was cooked perfectly and it came with everything I was craving. Plus the refried beans, creama, eggs, plantains, chicharron, and warm tortilla--yum! The pupusa was different, as it's made with a different cheese here which the waitress did warn us. Because of this, it wasn't our favorite but still good. Overall this spot is popular in East Boston, I would definitely check it out! Also if you tell them it's your birthday they will sing to you and you get to wear the special hat :)

I live locally, we have been buying their food and supporting them for years, since before the pandemic. Last night we had other food from somewhere else around the corner and just wanted to get two regular / virgin pina coladas to go. But because this particular woman doesn't like black people, she did not want to serve us the drinks. Not only was her customer service terrible, she was also trying to extort / milk us for more money. whole time the store was closing in like 30 minutes, and it would've been smart to allow your business to earn more money even if it's small, on drinks while you get ready to shut the grill down. Instead, they wanted us to order something, they would have to rush to make it, and then rush us to eat it, and then kick us out because it was closing soon. Soooooo disappointing. Actually Terrible service.

Chicharron was great. - Arepa: looks like a tortilla, so not the typical thick arepas I'm used to. So felt like I paid $8 just for a tortilla and small block of cheese - Tostones con guacamole: I prefer my tostones to be crispier, but they had great taste. - Cazuela de Mariscos: Great flavor. I put it on top of rice and enjoyed it with the other food, otherwise too heavy/dense on it's own. I didn't enjoy the mussels (I love mussels). They were too gritty.
