The check in process was very long and even the lady behind the counter was not very friendly. Another guest asked for an ice bucket and was told they did not have any. She then asked for a bag for ice, again they didn't have anything to offer. They gave her 2 cups to put ice in. Finally got to our room, the ac works there. Yeah! We are staying 2 nights, only 2 towels and one is ragged and has holes. No hair dryer, coffee pot but no coffee. Seems they have some work to do here. Not sure why ANY hotel is operating without a backup generator especially in the texas hot months in Beeville no less. I love the central location and the ease of getting to and from the hotel while there. But the pop up "issues" with no back up plan is just not business friendly in my opinion.
