Plenty of street parking available. They don't brew their own beer but they have a variety of excellent beer on tap and in bottles/cans. They have a bit of everything, mostly craft beers (local and imported). Although, they do have a few commercial beers for those weirdos. I am not sure if they make their own food or if they pair with guest businesses... or both. All I can say is from my experience when I went, they had food from Smoke 'Em All BBQ Team. I'd have to return to confirm. And return, I will. This place is the best. I had this place bookmarked for quite a while. I'm glad I chose Saturday to finally make it out. They were having an Oktoberfest celebration with live music from a band called Beans Polka. Not sure of they regularly have live music, it the band was awesome. A good mix of rock with Bavarian style music. Lots of fun. It was a packed house. There was a long line to order food and drinks, but it moved smoothly. The staff was working hard and were awesome. The food was very good. I really liked the Butifarra Sausage with bacon Kimchi, as well as the garlic parmesan fries. What makes this place rock, though, is the vibe (as well as the excellent beer). Great atmposphe. Family friendly so bring the kids. They will have fun. There is a projector that screens live sports. I am definitely returning. Only bummer is that they don't open on Sunday, so Saturday is the only day I can make it out since I work during the week.

My boys and I decided to walk the shore with the intentions on trying one of the restaurants alongside the beach for lunch and settled on this spot after seeing their ratings. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was a huge relief given we were in much need of AC. The place wasn't crowded but it had its share of people- deff looked like a popular spot for the locals. Staff were welcoming and seated us promptly. The menu is extensive with so many options to choose from it made it hard to pick. I decided to leave it in the waitresses hand to suggest an app and entree for myself. She recommended the mini acapurrias that came paired with a guava sauce and the shrimp mofongo made from a mixture of sweet plantains and tosotones-it was mouth watering good. I'll have her to blame for the longing I'll have to endure of such an incredible dish. I have personally never finished any mofongo but this one I damn bear licked the plate. The shrimp was juicy, fresh, the garlic not overbearing. The amount of caldo was just portioned so as kiss the amount of mofongo served. My kiddos loved the mini alcapurrias. They were crisp, hot and paired deliciously with the guava sauce. My eldest had the churrasco which he described as being juicy and tender and my little guy had the chicken tenders and fresh cut fries which were a treat. I would absolutely - more like religiously- would return to this spot.

It's small, loud, a little gritty, and completely inviting--exactly what a true dive bar should be. The walls are covered in graffiti and stickers from years of visitors leaving their mark, and honestly, that's part of the magic. You can't help but look around and smile at all the personality packed into such a cozy space. One of my favorite details? Look over to the right corner of the bar and you'll spot what looks like a vintage cash register straight out of the 1800s. Then right in the middle of the bar you've got the modern point-of-sale devices. The contrast is hilarious and perfect--old-school charm meeting modern bar life. There's a pool table, plenty of seating for such an intimate spot, and yes, a restroom inside (always appreciated in Old San Juan!). But what really makes this place stand out is the service--the staff is fantastic, welcoming, and they pour seriously strong drinks that are also refreshingly affordable. This is the kind of place where you come for one drink in the afternoon and suddenly the whole evening disappears in great conversation and good vibes. If you're wandering the streets of Old San Juan and want authentic dive bar energy, great drinks, and a place full of character, this is absolutely a must-stop. Highly recommend.

Always a good time here. Love the grunge vibe. The Pina Batida was delicious! Service was friendly!read more

I came here to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately, they fell short in every possible category. The layout is a major issue. We paid the $10 per person fee for the piano room, only to be squeezed in elbow-to-elbow with strangers. The tables are so tiny I literally had to eat out of my lap to avoid spilling food on my clothes. Even the basic facilities were a struggle; the women's bathroom was so cramped and unaccommodating that I could barely even sit down. When we asked to move to a more comfortable space, the hostess and waitress refused, citing nearby reservations. The kitchen and service were equally disappointing. After waiting over an hour for our entrees, the food arrived mediocre and tasteless. The steak had zero seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were dry and flavorless--essentially just a boiled potato thrown on a plate. The service was the final straw. When I tried to flag down a server to send the potatoes back, he told me he would "get her." When our waitress finally arrived, I explained the issue and she simply replied, "I know." No apology, no offer to bring something else, and no effort to make it right. To be met with that level of rudeness on my birthday was shocking. This was a complete waste of time and money--I won't be returning.

Our waiter was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us the entire night. Consistently checking in, refilling waters, removing plates, etc. The ceviche was some of the best I've had on the island so far. The fish was fresh and juicy, and the mango was the perfect touch. Each entree that we ordered was nearly licked cleaned from how good it was. Our favorites of the night were the lobster ravioli and ribs. We each had dessert as well, the chocolate cake and crème brûlée was perfect! I can't recommend this place more! It has been of our favorite places in Puerto Rico so far.

The first night I heard what I assumed was a curated "rainforest soundtrack" through speakers. It's not. Those are actual local frogs, and that small detail somehow sets the tone for the whole experience: it feels real, private, and almost unreal at the same time. The room is massive and thoughtfully designed. The outdoor shower is a standout, and the big tub makes it feel like you have your own spa built in. I didn't have a private pool since I'm on the second floor, but the view is so beautiful I stopped caring pretty quickly. What impressed me most was how effortless everything felt. Having an Embajador team plus a driver/golf cart makes the resort feel easy to navigate, and they're quick to respond when you need anything. The pool is stunning and spacious, and the overall vibe is quiet, calm, and never chaotic. The only thing I wouldn't hype is room service. It was underwhelming for the price, especially the lobster. If you're deciding where to eat, go to Positivo near the concierge instead, it was noticeably better. Even when the weather turned intense, it didn't take away from the stay. If anything, it made the resort feel even more cozy and cinematic. Add in the humidity controls in the room (so underrated), and it's one of those places you leave already planning how to come back.
