Mexican food and adult beverages seem to belong in a college town, after all. And the restaurant was well attended during my visit, a good sign that the restaurant was still deserving of my business. That said, I was seated and attended to very quickly. The complimentary chips and wide variety of accompanying dips (five options!) were a strong start to the meal. Thankfully, I somehow managed to save enough room for the main event, a lovely plate of carnitas that arrived in a reasonable time. Joining the pork on my plate was guac salad and a healthy portion of beans. I found myself pleased with all the food I was presented. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food I received, and the quality of service I received throughout my stay was excellent. Dos Amigos is a bit noisy, and the dining arrangements do show a bit of wear and tear, but if you don't mind those things I'd call this a smart stop for a filling meal.
