These beautiful stargazer lillies have made it smell like heaven in my house. Okay, I've never been there, but I assume this is what it smells like. Or bacon. But probably this. My husband ordered Valentines flowers via FTD for me about a month before the day. The week before, they called to see if they could deliver a day early (probably called everyone due to the volume). He said that would be okay, and they arrived on Sunday the 13th. It's now the 21st (8 days) and they still look beautiful and smell wonderful. I have pulled 2 stems out as they began to look brown on some petals, and moved unopened bud to their place, and they continue to open. I'd say this arrangement easily has another 4-5 days in it. I have nothing but great things to say about LaSalle Flowers! We used their services for our wedding August 7, 2009 at the Signature Room in the John Hancock. I walked in and was delighted by the gorgeous centerpieces that I forgot I picked out! I worked direclty with Margie, whom I believe is the special events flower coordinator for LaSalle Flowers. I had some ideas of what I wanted as far flower types go, but just like with everything else, I kind of went with the flow and allowed other to guide me in the right direction. Margie had books of flowers that she had done and other examples of centerpieces and bouquets to choose from. I went with a very simple white calalily bouquet for myself and green orchids for all the bouteniers and corsages. These turned out even prettier than I imagined!! I also had Margie make hair pieces for myself, my maid of honor and my mom. The hair pieces were absolutely gorgeous! I used this in lieu of a veil and I got so many compliments on how beautiful all the flowers were. Margie and the LaSalle Flowers team also made sure that the flowers were all delivered on time to my locations and all the pieces were perfect! I was not going to write a review/not only that I wasn't even upset UNTIL I spoke to LaSalle Flower Shop. I had 2 issues on the same order. Flowers that my recipient is allergic to were included TWICE. When we called the 1st time to request a 2nd delivery they said they would credit my account and deliver a 2nd set. They DID NOT credit my account and the 2nd flowers were delivered again with flowers that have allergies. I called today and started very calm in fact saying I felt bad calling to complain because I know how tough times have been. I wasn't looking for anything. I thought the manger would want to know. We were blamed, she was rude and condescending. They are giving me a credit for the 1st order (we will see). And basically said there is nothing we are willing to do. (Which I wasn't even asking for anything) I was looking for a "oh crap! THANK YOU for letting us know how to improve you experience" (especially with something as sensitive as severe allergies). The more I spoke to them the more mad I got - this is all customer service related. Mistakes happen, big deal. But you don't treat clients especially loyal clients like they are stupid liars. Again I wasn't even wanting a refund or more flowers when I called. If they let me speak and get a word in they would have realized that. I will no longer patronize them. There are too many small businesses out there that show gratitude. * I wanted to let whoever I spoke to there - that I was wrong about the mothers day order, it was another florist. Matthew T. provided outstanding customer service to me this week. He was knowledgeable about the different types of flowers and the names of the double tulips that are in season around Easter. He creatively made a bouquet for a man on his way to work, while I patiently waited my turn to ask about the single priced stems in the flower market cooler. While the Birds of Paradise stems are priced high right now, I know that is because of the supply shortage. They had cute little bee and ladybug flowerpots that were just perfect for Assistants (administrative) week. If they are out of what you need they can find it in the next few days if you are not in a rush. They have a nice plants section and their money trees which are great office gift were reasonably priced ranging from $25-$35 depending on price. Their long stem single roses were reasonably priced as well, and goes to show you that sometimes a few singles roses mean as much as a dozen because it is the thought that counts. Take time to write a thoughtful card of a favorite memory or why you love that person so much, and you will melt their heart! read more

My sweetie ordered the fall flowers and it looks great. A day or two later the flowers still smell incredible and look fresh. They also included flower food which I will be using tomorrow with clipping the stems to refresh the flowers. Call me an idealist, but if you work in a flower shop-you better be damn delightful. If not delightful, please be a font of horticultural wisdom. I am typically a person who walks into a flower shop, looks around, breathes deeply - and feels at home. I get excited by possibilities. I plan dinner parties for friends. I feel compelled to walk barefoot in meadows. I vow career changes. But my whole experience here was overwhelmingly awkward. I was most underwhelmed by the service. In particular: the cold greeting and tone; distracted chattering about work drama; terse answers engendering feelings of imposition; lack of creativity, excitement, or care about the flower-worthy occasion; detached observation/absent assistance during my dance with a table of 3-foot orchids; crappy (quite frankly) wrapping and presentation of the final potted plant (and paltry pot selection). What I enjoyed: The lovely flowers. I felt better before I walked in the shop then when I walked out. Now that is saying something. read more

I've been searching for years for a good, local, reliable flower shop that delivers. Thought I would try LaSalle Flowers, bad idea. The search continues.. I ordered a fall bouquet off their website, called "telefora's orange crush." It was my wife's birthday, so I decided to opt for the "premium" version - which was $20 more than the "standard version." Well, I the bouquet I got was generally what the picture looked like .. but the problem is that I paid for the premium version .. I totally got the standard version. The bouquet I got was actually a little skimpier than the "standard version" that was shown. The roses are waaaaaay smaller and the whole arrangement just looks tired. Furthermore their website shows the arrangement in a cool modern glass vase. The description even celebrates the vase, saying " delivered in a stylish orange bunch vase." .. HA HA .. I got a $1.50 cheap crappy vase that looked NOTHING like what I ordered. Word of advice, if you do order from their website .. order the standard version, cause that's what you're gonna get - any "upgrade" you pay for is just throwing your money away. But really, I suggest you just don't go there at all .. total scam artists. read more

This is my big brothers go to flower shop and they do not disappoint! I was the happy recipient of an absolutely freakin huge arrangement with snaps, stargazers, casa blancas and other lillies in a gorgeous vase. This was a bit back, but WOW, it was A MAZING! For Mothers Day, mom was at my house and got a delivery from my brother. One GINORMOUS (at least a foot long) basket (It was a nice looking basket too!) filled with potted chrysanthemums, ferns, ivy, orchids, and a peace lily. It was pretty darn impressive! I do not know what he spent but man- that thing was huge! All of the plants inside the basket were in great shape (not always the case with this type of thing) and the colors and textures represented were really pleasing to the eye. Wonderful customer service & arrangement! I live in NH and a building concierge recommended I call LaSalle to send an arrangement to a family member locally. I ordered online and when I called to follow up about delivery, I learned I selected a delivery date for the following week. They heard the disappointment (in myself!) in my voice and they placed me on hold. Only to come back and say they would deliver later that day (Friday afternoon). I was elated and appreciative. Really bad place to buy flowers! I bought flowers from them for my girlfriend and they look nothing like the pictures online. The tulips weren't even bloomed and the roses were already dying. My girlfriend said when it was delivered the vase had no water in it. I called the place and the lady there was giving me an attitude like I did something wrong. My mom sent me flowers for Valentine's Day and they arrived this morning. Half of the flowers were wilted and one of the flower buds even fell off from the stem. The arrangement looks nothing like the picture on their website. When I called to let them know about this problem, they weren't very friendly.. but after talking to 3 different people, they said they'd swap these flowers out for some new ones.. so we'll see what happens since I haven't gotten them yet. read more

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT SHOP HERE HORRIBLE PLACE & Despicable customer service. I purchased flowers online for my sister, when they arrived they looked nothing like the picture online. I sent them an email with a photo side by side of what it should look like and what they sent. They emailed back and said there was nothing they could do for me. I called and spoke with Lupe she said if they made another one it would look the same. I asked them why the online arrangement had 3 roses and they only sent me 1 she didn't answer me. I asked why they added daises as a cheap filler flower when online it said I would get: Light pink roses, white asiatic lilies, alstroemeria, cushion spray chrysanthemums and statice. She said the lily they sent was a better quality so it all worked out???? They have horrible customer service I am a very unhappy customer and they did nothing to make it right. The photos online looks NOTHING like what they sent and they said we can't make it look like that, I paid for at least 3 roses and they only sent one, they use subpar flowers but make you pay for the real thing. I work for a non-profit and for these people to hustle people who have no money and make them pay over $60 for a 1 rose arrangement is despicable. My husband sent me stargazer lilies for our wedding anniversary (my favorite). Unfortunately, the bouquet had so much filler in it I could barely see the lilies at all (for a huge vase, there were only five total lily stems included). Besides the cheap greenery and long grass filler, there was twisting vines shoved into the clear vase which I thought were leftover clippings from other bouquets. When I spoke to Margie and asked her how they charge so much for a bouquet that is 90% filler, she replied, "I can make a note in your account to not add the filler next time". Seriously?
