I asked for a recommendation to fix the water damage for the cabinets and my adjuster recommended DryZone and a few other companies. I chose DryZone! Ed Garza called me within a few minutes after I spoke with the adjuster. He suggested that the water damage should be dried right away so it doesn't create mold. He came by within the next hour and set up his equipments. He explained to me how each equipment works and other options I can take to prevent/fix molding issues. He was sincere when I told him I was concern about my kids and having possible molding under the sink. He helped me find alternatives to fix the molding issue without spending too much. Not only did Ed help me with the water issue we had at home, he also took time to explain to me about an AC issue at my Aunt's house that needs to be fixed. I showed him a few pictures of the ac vent that was leaking and Ed actually took time to show me what COULD be causing it and what may need to be done to dry it. Talking to Ed about the water damage and everything else was a stress reliever for me. He was kind, sincere, honest, a wonderful listener, and overall a great person. He is a pleasure to work with and always made sure everything was done right and cleaned up by the end of the day. Industrial dryers and heaters were brought in and it took 3 days to get the moisture dried out, drywall and flooring pulled up, but it was a well-orchestrated mess. Even our insurance adjuster was impressed by the quality of work they did. Most times, restoration companies do more than what is needed to fleece the insurance company for more money. Our adjuster said Dryzone did exactly what was necessary and they did a good job of drying everything out completely and also came back to meet with the adjuster in case they had questions. We went with Terra Mia because the owner came and went through our "small" project of a tweak to a bathroom for my elderly parents moving in a few months and a gut renovation on the primary bathroom. He was the only person to be honest with us to what needed to be done to do the job right. He also committed to a very aggressive timeframe to make sure it was done before my parents moved in. The pricing was very fair. Based on the other estimates it was on the top end of the bids but based on our experiences with home remodeling the lower priced bids usually cost much more in the long run. During the process we decided to gut the kitchen, and redo the HVAC system as well. Again Terra Mia promised to added 2 major projects to this already aggressive timeframe. The results: AMAZING!!! Everyone that worked on our home was knowledgeable, professional, and treated our home like they were working on their own. Every project has hiccups. The Real tell of a good contractor is how they manage them to ensure the client is satisfied and informed. This is definitely a strength with Terra Mia. We had very definite designs in mind Terra Mia was able to make our vision a reality. This was done by working with us to discuss functionality, technical issues, and find creative ways to deliver on time and on budget. Also, I contacted the owner about almost 2 months ago about my grout looking ugly, and he never responded. I've paid them so much money. I don't deserve this kind of customer service. Will was very informative and answered my questions about the products and method they use. They gave me a range of 3-4pm. They give a courtesy call when they are 30 minutes away and arrived at 3:40. I told them that my dog was in training and I gave them certain instructions like meeting my dogs outside, giving no eye contact to my dog, etc... and they were understanding of it. Lol. Anyway, it took about an hour to do and an hour and a half to dry. I even asked to see the water and it was hella dirty.. it was black.. So gross, lol. It also picked up all the dog hair! I waited a week to write this review cuz I wanted to see if the treatments they used for the urine would work. And I guess it did. The couch feels clean, smells clean, and i don't smell any urine. I don't think any of my dogs smell it either, cuz they haven't tried to pee in that same spot. Overall, I'm satisfied. I would call and use them again. They are professional on the phone and with their work. If you ever have pet stains, give them a call. I attached a picture of my sectional so you can see the size of it. The pee stain was in the arm rest of the chase. I paid $160 for cleaning all the cushions, and sides. Not the back of the couch or ottoman. If I wanted to do the ottoman, then they were gonna charge me $20. My main concern was the sectional that's why I decided no to ottoman.
