This was a total waste of money and a scam. I've been getting Botox for over 5 years so I know how it works. I bought a Groupon and went to Raisa. She kept trying to get me to buy more Botox but I told her I wanted to use my 20 units to get rid of the wrinkles above my eyebrows. She seemed upset I wasn't buying more and then injected the Botox in a totally different area. 7 days later there was absolutely no difference then when I came in. Do not go to this center or buy a groupon. They only want you to spend more money when you get there. Her treatment room was dirty and unkempt. Spend the extra money and go to a reputable dermatologist. I"ve learned my lesson. read more

Last year, as I was visiting my sister in California, she surprised me with a birthday gift of botox groupon at LA Skincare Center. After initial shock of realizing that my sister thought I was getting older, I was pretty happy with this thoughtful gesture. At the same time, I was pretty nervous as this was my first experience with botox. From the second I walked into the office, my nervousness evaporated. The office itself was very cozy and welcoming. The staff was very professional and accommodating! Raisa herself was very sweet as well as gorgeous! She was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions, which put me at ease. She even gave me some suggestions regarding other types of treatment for my skin. I didn't feel rushed, like I do sometimes at other offices. She had the most gentle hand when injecting! Having experience with doing injections myself, I can appreciate a person that actually knows what they are doing. I chatted with her regarding using the latest technology needles to make the injection completely seamless and painless. I was thrilled with my results! I am still fairly young and want to keep looking that way. I didn't have the frozen forehead I always associated with botox. It looked very natural to say the least. Since then, I haven't had the time to look for a place to get my botox redone. I put it off and when I went to visit my sister again this summer, she took me back to the office. Again, I was absolutely thrilled with both my experience and results. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends if it wasn't so far away! Raisa is an OB/GYN practitioner and does all those skin treatments as well; sounds like a perfect combination of an office to me. Wish we had something like that back here on east coast. read more
